It's been a long time, but I'm back with another drabble! It's Chopper again! (I abandoned the one-SH-one-drabble plan a long time ago, but I will try my best to branch out to the others eventually)

I hope you'll like this one as well!

Turning Me Dotty

"Reindeers don't get chicken pox, huh."

Chopper had the decency to look sheepish. He pulled the blanket up to cover his nose, unknowingly presenting an irresistibly adorable image.

Nami's stern demeanor softened. "Oh well, you won't be getting any rest if I keep scolding you like this. Now say Aaah."

The boy obediently let her take his temperature without fuss. The navigator-turned-temporary-nurse still frowned as she looked at the reading. Chopper shrank a little further down into the blankets.

A crash sounded from somewhere above them and Nami twitched.

Luffy aka Patient 1 was already fully recovered and bounding about the ship as usual. Chopper had wanted to keep him in the sickbay for longer, but the captain's whining had been keeping the youngest himself from rest, so Nami had ordered him out after a second opinion from Robin.

Anyway, everyone else swore that they had the sickness as a child, so the rubber man really was only a danger to himself. (But then again when was he not?)

The door opened. "Oi, witch, I'm—" before the newcomer could complete his sentence, a foot aimed at his head made him duck.

"Don't talk to Nami-san like that, idiot marimo!" The cook's beaming face appeared in the doorway. "Nami-swan, lunch is served!"

Nami kicked both men straight back out of the infirmary. "Quiet! He just fell asleep!" she hissed, eyes narrowed in annoyance. She peeked back into the room, relieved to see the reindeer still sleeping, albeit rather fitfully.

"I brought some broth for the kid too, but if he's sleeping I'll warm it up later. Your lunch is in the galley as usual, Nami-san."

"Yes, thank you, Sanji-kun."

Zoro grunted, rolling his eyes at the cooks (quiet) swooning over Nami's smile. "I'll just go in then."

With a loud patter of running footsteps, Luffy bounced down the corridor. "Me too! I'll watch Chopper too!"

Before Nami could launch into an angry tirade (and probably add a few bumps to the younger teen's head), Usopp and Brook had appeared to grab their captain under one arm each and started to haul him bodily away. A pair of feet sprouted under Luffy's aided them along. The captain's fascination with his newly acquired appendages thankfully distracted him enough for them to do so without excess trouble.

Nami huffed, thoroughly exasperated. Still, she couldn't help but chuckle as she followed the odd procession down the hallway.

Just another normal day on the Thousand Sunny.
