A/N: So this was actually an assignment for school that I just so happened to get inspiration from a moe filled scene from chibitalia, let's see if you can guess ;)

This piece is supposed to be a sort of free form poem, so please don't judge the format and the way the words jump around. it was originally written in couplets too.

PLEASE REVIEW

Disclaimer: I do not own Hetalia, but I do own this poem.

No worries to feel

Plenty of work to do

Young minds

Simple thoughts

It was when summer winds blew

When the summer sun rays shone, hot

I worked outside, sweeping the lawn

A simple task for a little fawn

Little did my childish mind know

That day, it was your time to go

So you walked outside in your black cape

Walked out in your black hat and robes

"Venniciana, my dear, I have to go"

With that he offered his hand soft, pale

My eyes shut tight, tears leaking out

That is when he muttered those words out

"You'll gain more power than you've ever had before-

-If you join my side, forever, as mine"

A small silence formed before my answer came,

"No" I replied with a wavering cry

His eyes widened in shock and despair

Like a deer in the head lights being struck mid-air

"No?" he questioned, grabbing my shoulders tight

"Why Not?!" he exclaimed, shaking me, filling me with fright

"To save you" I countered, looking down in despair

"This is what happened to grandpa. And his fate I don't want you to share"

He stared at me with sadness in his cerulean eyes

With an understanding nod and a regretful goodbye

I gave him a hug, a quick parting gift too

The first thing that came to mind and possession, my broom

He took the gift graciously, with a smile and a twist

Then suddenly he leaned forward, and we had our first and last kiss

One last hug, a turn, a snap, and a crunch

Heading toward the marching bunch

I called and I waved, I bid him farewell

Then he shouted a promise, I believed to well

He promised return, a hollow feat

But my hope never was never at damper

With no worries to feel, and work to do

The years dragged on, where were you?

A/N: Did ya guess what it was? Just in case you are horribly lost and confused, it's the scene where Holy Rome is leaving Venniciano confessing his love and making hollow promises of his return. I think its good but, i need your guys' opinion so PLEASE REVIEW
