Chapter 24

The Doctor leads the group into the Slitheen stronghold with him strutting in all confident and the others stalking in behind him, nervous.

"Slitheen" shouts out the Doctor, which is when all the creatures in the room turned their large, beady black eyes on the group.

"Look everyone, dinner has just walked into our midst"

"Listen you green balls of fat on legs, you touch a single hair on any of their heads and I'll be forced to take action"

"Do you know what we've got in these guns?" asked Clyde.

There's a silence in the room before Clyde answers his own question "Vinegar"

The Slitheen then all take a step backwards, as if they are scared, making everyone who is carrying a vinegar weapon point it at them.

The Doctor then walks forward and begins to nonchalantly walk around the consoles in front of him.

"Do you know who I am? No, well I'll tell you, The Elders call me The Traveller from Beyond Time, The Sevateem call me The Evil One, and the Daleks, well they have two names for me, Ka Faraq Gatri which means Destroyer of Worlds and The Oncoming Storm".

"You are the Doctor" says one of the Slitheen close to the Doctor.

"That I am"

"You murdered our family"

"Ah, now, technically that wasn't me, was it Rose?"

"No, no it wasn't, it was our mate Mickey, who from the computer in his bedroom, sent a missile to Downing Street, which is what killed your family"

"Which one of these humans is he, I want to kill him, then eat him"

"What a sham for you, he's not here, he's in another Universe, you can't get to him"

"Err, Doc, I think it's time we got down to business, don't you?"

"Right you are Jack. Now you, big ugly green fellas, this is a Level 5 planet and according to Convention 15 of the Shadow Proclamation I order you to leave this planet and it's people alone"

There is once again a slight silence in the room before the Slitheen all laugh and then the leader.

"You have provided us all with a laugh, unfortunately, that won't stop us from hunting you, after them, all of you"

The Slitheen begin to walk forward, then the Doctor orders "Spray into the air", which everyone with a Vinegar gun does, incapacitating the Slitheen.

"Jack, grab Victoria"

"Right you are, come here sweetie"

Jack picks up the toddler and then the Doctor shouts "RUN"

They all rush out of the room and when they are out of it the Doctor locks the door with the Sonic and says "That should hold them for a little while, now, you lot, get outside, hop to it"

The whole group then dash around the corridors, before they eventually make it outside and into the safety of the TARDIS's protective force field, which is where Jack puts down Victoria who seeks comfort by holding on to her mother.

It was at that point that the Slitheen all came outside and thinking they have them cornered, they slow down their pace and creep forward slowly, savouring the whole ritual of the hunt, then when they are about 10 yards away from their prey, beams of light appear and seconds later, a troop of 25 Judoon materialize in a circle around the inhabitants of Raxacoricofallapatorious, with 2 Judoon to each Slitheen, then the leader steps forward and towards the Doctor.

"Wo ho blo to lo blo no go tro blo go flo do plo yo plo tro so po flo blo kno spo?"

"flo blo ro to ho dro - lo no go lo kro so ho"

"Language identified, Earth - English. You are the Doctor"

"I am"

"Thank you for your assistance in detaining the Prisoners"

"Wait hold on, Captain Tybo, is that you?" asks Rani.

"Affirmative, Rani Chandra"

"How ya been, caught any prisoners lately?"

Captain Tybo then just looks straight at Clyde and doesn't say a word.

"Okaaaaaaaay"

"We shall leave now"

"Right, yes, goodbye"

The Slitheen and the Judoon then transport back to the Judoon ship and the Doctor turns to his friends before declaring "Right then, let's get you lot back home, everyone in".

Inside the TARDIS everyone gathers around the console and the Doctor gives them jobs pressing buttons and or turning levers.

"Torchwood, you first"

Seconds later, the TARDIS arrives at its usual spot in Roald Dhal Plass and everyone exits the ship.

"Goodbye guys, if ever you're in need, call me"

"And how much would we be charged for calling the Time Vortex, or I don't know, another planet in another galaxy?" asks Gwen.

"Oh don't worry about that, Jack, do you have Martha's first mobile number?"

"Why does that matter, ... it was supercharged wasn't it?"

"Yep"

"I'll get it from her"

"You do that"

"It was good to see you again Doctor"

"You too Captain"

Jack then salutes the Doctor who says the word don't, when Jack finishes his sentence "Salute, I know, see you again sometime"

"Yeah, maybe, and you lot, try not to use guns, yeah, maybe you can spare a few lives"

Rose then goes up to Jack and hugs him, saying "Thank you for everything over the last few weeks"

"You Rose Tyler are most welcome"

"Bye bye Uncle Jack"

"Goodbye Victoria"

The Doctor, Rose, Victoria and Sarah Jane's gang all go back into the TARDIS and moments later they land in the attic of 13 Bannerman Road and exit the ship.

"I will never get used to that"

"This place is amazing" wondered Rose.

"Thank you"

"So I suppose we're keeping these for another encounter of the Raxacoricofallapatorian kind"

"I hope I see you again Doctor" says Sarah Jane.

"Oh I don't doubt that"

"Goodbye Doctor"

"Goodbye my Sarah Jane"

The Doctor and Sarah Jane then hug and he, Victoria, and Rose say goodbye to Sarah Jane and her gang before going back into the TARDIS.

"Where to?" the Doctor asks Rose.

"Anywhere"

Grinning an insanely large grin the Doctor sets to work adjusting the controls of the console to propel them to new adventures.
