This rather late update is due to major forgetfulness and lack of inspiration. But here it is, the last-ish chapter. There will be an epilogue, filling a kinda plot hole.

Harry sighed as he wiped the last of the blood from his face, this wasn't the first time he had been covered in another man's blood. Although this had been the first time someone had taken their own life.

Harry paused for a second as he heard Jack in his office speaking quick and quite to the brass at Torchwood One. Jack was no doubt telling the higher ups what had happened and already requesting a transfer for experienced agents. They were no doubt telling Jack they didn't have the man power to spare in Cardiff and that he would just have to wait.

That was the problem, or part of it. Jack was saying goodbye to another group of friends and his bosses just didn't understand. Harry suddenly became very interested in his feet as Jack hung up the phone and entered the room. He didn't want Jack to think he had been listening in.

"So were on our own. The brass is useless." Jack stared at the floor beneath Harry's feet a solemn expression on his features. "Are you cleaning that?"

"What?" Harry startled at first, but quickly paled as he noticed the red patch beneath his feet.

"Oh."

Jack grimaced, "Well, let's get started then."

They wasted no time in cleaning the Hub. First they prepared the bodies for deep freezing and storage. Then they scrubbed the floors, it taking several hours, by the time they had finished the clock read nine o' clock and their backs ached, spines popping.

Harry stretched lazily his spine popping fantastically.

And that was when the Hub lit up like a Christmas tree, along a klaxon of alarms. Jack immediately jumped into action examining the data displayed on the monitors.

Harry watched Jack tensed and ready. Jack dragged his eyes from the monitor his expression was beaming, glowing. Harry read the screen over Jack's shoulder.

Flashing red with white bold letters was: The Doctor.

Harry couldn't help but remember what Clive had said.

He brings a storm in his wake and he only has one constant companion…Death.

The Doctor appears now, after Alex's death. What would happen if he met the Doctor, what would happen to him? Did he want to know why he was the way he was? Did the Doctor even know his parents at all? What if – No. That was absurd.

"There it is the T.A.R.D.I.S, most beautiful ship to I've ever seen." Harry could hear the smile in Jack's voice as the SUV slowed, and the stepped out. Jack continued to appraise the ship as they approached.

"He must be stopping for a refuel. Think he'll be surprised to see me,' a pause as Jack seemed to notice something. "Wonder how long it's been for him?"

The two Torchwood agents paused at the ships threshold and Jack knocked once politely. When the door didn't open Jack's forehead wrinkled, he knocked again a little less polite. Jack gave Harry a smirk, "He's just playing hard to get."

Harry didn't know about that, he bet a lot of things (aliens) would think twice before letting Jack Harkness into their ship. Perhaps the Doctor just didn't like him.

Harry was secretly hoping that the Doctor never opened the door. Just like the Universe was playing a cruel joke on him the door swung open.

"Doctor long time no see!" shouted Jack, face lighting up.

The first thing Harry noticed was how young the Doctor was, there were no wrinkles, no scars, his smile came easy.

"Jack you haven't aged a day." Commented the Doctor. They had a running joke, to keep things light.

The next thing Harry noticed was the Doctor's eyes, they held the universe, all of its intensity and weight. His eyes burned with the heat of a thousand frozen suns. This was him.

"This is Harry Potter."

Harry snapped out of his reverie. They were looking at him, waiting.

"Potter, sounds familiar."

He couldn't hold himself back, he told him everything. He knew somehow in his core that if didn't now he would never get the chance later. He confessed his dreams, his desires, his nightmares, everything.

How he knew from the day he was able to form coherent thought that 'the man in the bowtie' was important, that he knew his parents, that he knew the Doctor.

"Potter, Harry Potter, my god, you're that Harry Potter. Lily and James are your parents." Said the Doctor, bubbling with excitement, as he stared at Harry and grinned at Jack.

"Nice to meet you, whoa. You are fantastic." The Doctor hugged Harry quickly before setting off toward the metal railings, but not before spinning around again. "Your parents how are they, I do like to keep tabs on my past companions."

Jack cut in then, "Wait, Harry's parents travelled with you?"

"Of course, it was some time ago though." The Doctor waved it off, looking toward Harry waiting.

"Doctor my parents were murdered." He didn't beat around the bush, there was no use in that.

The Doctor nodded in understanding having come in contact with death many times even being the cause of it on occasion. "Voldemort."

Harry's mouth parted in surprise, "How did – ?"

"They told me, James and Lily got married during the war when I offered them a ride they took it. Eventually they returned I always figured it was because of a sense of duty. But now I'm getting the feeling that wasn't so."

The Doctor tilted his head to the side as if he were listening to something. Harry suddenly felt like he was being examined under a microscope.

"What is it Doc?" asked Jack.

"Nothing, Harry just reminds me of someone, nothing important." The Doctor brushed it off to lean against the humming roundel. "So, Harry the T.A.R.D.I.S is ready, anywhere you want to go."

Harry didn't need long to consider the offer, he knew exactly where he wanted to go.

Harry leaned against door jamb as he took in the expanse of the universe. He knew wasn't even seeing the half of it. Harry didn't mind though what he was seeing now was enough.

Right now he was gazing at the Hydra constellation at the on visible star Alphard, the solitary one.

Now he was here to keep Alphard company, one last time. The Doctor had told him how it was possible for the artron energy and the vortex energy to combine while certain things were taking place and conceive a Time Lord child.

Now he knew he wasn't alone. All of his questions were answered now, he wasn't sure what he was going to do once he got back home. The Doctor offered to take him on an adventure like he had with his parents, but he had declined. His place was on Earth, most importantly it was at home in the Wizarding World.

Even though he couldn't be Harry Potter anymore he could still do his best. He'll be the same man but with a different face.
