Sort of got inspired by a line in Don't mess with Robin. Thought I would describe the Batglare in depth as it afflicts a criminal.

The Glare

The first side effect was paralysis. The paralysis was more like being in the center of an imploding star. You couldn't move, you could barely breath, and you were armed with the knowledge that it would only get worse from there. The first side effect was nowhere close to the worst.

The second was an overwhelming cold. It chilled you to the bone, making you wonder if there was still warmth in the world. There was no amount of thick blankets that could keep that cold out. Even if you no longer had the first symptom, the second kept you rooted to the spot, except for the shiver that would pass through you. You haven't even made it to the main event.

The third side effect was by far the worst. The overarching fear that took a hold of you. It was only symptom three because of how long it took you to realize that this could kill you. The paralysis and shivering were enough to do that, but this fear was enough to give you a heart attack. The adrenalin telling you to run away, while you were glued to the spot, made it even worse. There was no escape. The fear was to strong.

The man giving you this glare that could paralyze you, freeze you, and make you feel like there was no escape only asked one question. You gladly told him everything, not carrying how much trouble it would get you in. You would tell any secret to get that glare turned away from you.
