A/N : Hi guise c; so this is a short one-shot I wrote a long time ago but never posted. I finally decided to post it on Fanfiction, so why not?
SUMMARY: –GajeelxLevy. In which Gajeel asks the shrimp to go on a mission with him.
"Oi shrimp."
Levy sat at the usual table, reading her book. She was absorbed in this book, and she simply did not want to look up. So Levy replied to the man who spoke to her, as known as Gajeel, while reading at the same time.
"What is it, Gajeel?"
"Shrimp, go on this mission with me."
"M-Me?!"
Levy instantly blushed while reading her book. It was kind of tempting for Levy of all people, her chance to show him she wasn't a "shrimp".
"No, not you bookworm. I'm talking to shrimp here."
She furrowed her eyebrows. Gajeel clearly wasn't making any sense. He just said he wasn't talking to her, yet talking to her at the same time... weird.
"Shrimp, go on this mission with me."
"Eh... Gajeel..."
"Bookworm stop butting in! I'm asking the shrimp."
Now Levy was kind of getting annoyed. She struggled to read through her book as Gajeel talked, with a 'Hmph!'.
"W-Woah bookworm, you can come if you want! Just let me ask the shrimp!"
"... I can come if I want, just let you ask me?"
"Oi bookworm just be silent for a little bit and let me ask the shrimp!"
Her annoyance and curiosity now sky-rocketing, Levy immediately spun around in her seat with an angered expression.
"Gajeel! Make up your mind! You're making absolutely no sense with this shrimp and bookworm thing!"
She furiously shouted. Gajeel looked up with a confused expression.
"What do you mean?"
Levy blinked and looked at the table he was at. Infront of him was a piece of shrimp, and a worm that was sticking it's head out of a book.
"...An actual...shrimp... and bookworm...?"
She whispered, feeling very embarrassed as her face flushed red. Then her anger rose up once more.
"WHY ARE YOU TALKING WITH AN ACTUAL SHRIMP AND BOOKWORM!"
Levy shrieked, slapping Gajeel on the face with her book and rushing out of the guild in shame. He still remained confused, as he turned towards his piece of shrimp.
"...What's wrong with her?"
Well? Like, Dislike, Leave a Review maybe? Any criticism that could possibly help improve my writing abilities? Thanks for reading!
