*begins to claw my way towards the laptop where I keep writing my stories on*

Late..Again... School's been killing me for some time now and well... ANYWAYS! Enough about my sad life, Fairy tail just passed 20k stories! WOO! (Also, after all this time, I realized Lucy Heartphilia was actually spelt Lucy Heartfilia... I'm an idiot...) Also, nalu fanfics have 7.0 k stories.

Chapter 15: 30 babies!

Start!

Lucy woke up. It's been a week so far and nothing out of the blue happened... Well... Except for Natsu...

After the whole thing with the boyfriend and girlfriend fanominon, Natsu talked to Lucy like old times but every so often he would start to lean into uncharted territories... Otherwise known as flirting. "Natsu, are you dating Lucy?" Erza asked the pink-haired guard. "N-" Lucy began but was cut off, "Hell yea I'M DATING LUCY" Natsu yelled the last part loudly. The cafeteria chatter died down and all eyes were on them. A second passed and an uproar of cheering started.

"LU-CHAN! Even though I'm against him, Congrats on your first boyfriend~" Levy cheered to which Lucy blushed deeply on. That was a secret. Lucy looked over to Erza to explain the truth but Erza's face was slightly jumbled. Half of it was happy while the other half was conspicuous. That was a good sign to not talk to her while she was thinking. Besides, Lucy was beginning to lose her resolve.

"Oi, Laxus, can Lucy and I go on a date!?" Natsu yelled out loud making Lucy eep. The blonde muscular man simply looked up and stared at Natsu. A conversation between eyes. Finally a sigh before saying "Don't ask me, just don't bring her back with 33 babies." Lucy was recovering from her blush only to rush back again. 33 Babies!? In one day!?

"SWEET! Thanks Laxus, don't worry, I'll just bring back 30!" Natsu yelled back. What is with everyone an 30 babies!?

"NATSU! Come here!" Lucy shouted as she began to drag Natsu away into the hallway followed by cat calls and whistles which were slowly becoming out of ear-shot.

They walked a bit until they got in front of Lucy's barred cell, Natsu following Lucy behind her while Lucy kept leading.

"I am not your girlfriend!" Lucy stated loudly as she whipped her head back to face Natsu. Only problem was that she swished her hair back so slowly it was like a model advertising a hair commercial. On instinct, Natsu grabbed a piece of her hair. "Uwaa(Wow) It's so soft and shiny!" Natsu glistened as he kept admiring it. Lucy tinted with a light pink, raised her hand and slapped the dragon-slayer in the face.

"Keeps your claws off me! Also, when did I give the 'OK' to go on a date with you?" Lucy lectured strictly. Natsu, who was rubbing his right cheek where Lucy slapped him, replied, "Well, you don't love me yet" Natsu began while Lucy flinched at the word 'Love'. "If we go on dates, you'll fall for me faster!" Natsu concluded.

"W-W-Wha... Wait a minute, are you using me a replacement for Lisanna?" Lucy asked threateningly. Natsu made a serious face which diminished her furious mood to that of a child when they realized they made a big mistake. "Don't think so weak of me. I did mess up but I promised myself never to do that again."

"W-Why do you want me to love you then?" Lucy stuttered with a hint of stubbornness as she narrowed her eyes away from Natsu's intense ones. He kept on staring at her.

"Well, to be honest, I don't know the difference about friendship and love..." He admitted with a chuckle which made Lucy fall comically with her legs up until she got back up and faced him. As she was about to open her mouth, Natsu cut her off.

"But! What I do know, is that you were there in that time of trouble when I needed someone the most. You also always stood by my side, and you know there isn't a thing I wouldn't do for you already Luce"

"You would do anything for your nakama too," Lucy mumbled to herself but Natsu heard it.

"True..." He took a moment to pause before blushing lightly and letting his head sink into his scale-printed scarf of his. He took a moment before he let his head rise and white a smile he said, "But, I'll be by your side from now onto forever when you finally except it!"

"Anyways, since Laxus gave us a day, being the general's son and all with the privlages, how about we go tonight? It's not going to be fancy but it'll be fun." Natsu added before leaving a frozen Lucy to keep her mental capacity from exploding.

Those words echoed. Lucy slowly turned red from neck to ears as the red color kept getting brighter and brighter, it could probably be hot enough to make fire with.

Basically, if Lucy admitted she was in love with Natsu... Wouldn't that be instant marriage. Lucy covered her mouth and practically gushed. Her heart was going like mad from those few words. Heart, now's not the time to give me a heart attack, Lucy contemplated mentally to herself.

…Meanwhile in Mermaid Heel's computer room…

A short women with curly black hair, tan skin, sporting a blue loincloth with a matching color of a short blue top which leaves her belly exposed watches the monitor. "I don't like this Kagura... Men are evil, but this is too a whole new level"(1) Kagura sits beside her. "Neither do I Risley..." She says to herself. "Is it possible that Lucy had betrayed us?" Another petite girl asks. The girl was short, had her hazel hair tied in two long braids, with a couple of freckles spread on her face while wearing blue overalls.

"NO WAY! She would NEVER do that. Lulu-Chans our friend!" Milliana appeared out of nowhere while yelling at Beth.

"I don't want to believe it but it is possible..." Arana, a tall women with light green, dreadlocks tied in a ponytail, answered. (They are all Mermaid Heel members from the GmG arc)

Kagura sits silently. Thinking thoughtfully she opens her eyes and sighs. "We will wait and see, we can't be certain but we can't be mistaken." Kagura told the females. All of the girls nodded. Kagura was an S-Class wizard so it was obviously wise to take heed at her words.

"Usually, Lucy would one-shot them if they tried asking her out. Now she's acting like a bumbling clutz..." Arana said as she put the palm of her hand over in a stress-like manner. Risley did the same as she rubbed her temples.

"Anyway's, as long as Lucy doesn't take her earrings off, we are good, Right?" Beth added. It was true. When Lucy hugged Milliana to leave, Milliana put a camouflaged tiny lacarima on her.

Milliana looked a bit sad. "But still..."

"It's not up to choice, it's obvious that if Lucy decides to quit on us, it would be the same thing as betraying us for a Fairy Tail member... That's just a guess..."

Milliana went into deep thought for a moment while twitching her cat-like hair before jumping up.

"Why don't we rescue LuLu-chan and Levy-Chan!" Milliana spoke out, addressing Lucy with 'lulu-chan'.

The ladies looked at each other. "That way, she can come back home!" Beth added happily as she jumped with Milliana.

"The answer was obvious" Risley commented.

"True but we have a problem..." Arana added in her yellow webbed jumpsuit.

"Fairy Tail's defense is impenetrable. Did I mention, walking to a jail is like asking to be captured... Still, if we possibly do it fast and silently, it could work..." Kagura said, standing up from her seat, she propped the katana on her belt securely.

"Shouldn't we tell the general though?" Arana protested only to flinch stifly at Kagura's gaze. "We probably should, but it's better not to trouble the general. She is currently fighting so we don't want to stress her out,"

"B-But, wouldn't we stress her out more if we get captured." Arana continued.

"I'm willing to gamble on it. All we need to do is communicate with Levy so she and Lucy can get prepared for leaving quickly and on time." Risley spoke up.

"Shouldn't we tell Lulu-chan too?" Milliana asked, only to be shut up by the no answer. Milliana didn't press on now. It was better that way, since Lucy and Levy will be rescued.

...Fairy Tail Jail...

Lucy, are you sure you don't want a dress?" Mirajane asked as the white haired beauty showed her an amazing dress on a rack. Lucy, who had just settled with a light pink skirt and a navy green top while tying one hair up with a pink bow. (Imaine the Tenrou arc).

"It's beautiful Mira but Natsu said it would be a casual da- hangout day." Lucy told Mira as she began putting on some slacks.

"You were just about to say date!" Mira reminded Lucy. The blonde sighed.

"This will be the last date!" Lucy warned the former model as she opened the door out of Mirajane's room and left. "Ara ara (Now now,) that's not what Natsu told me." mumbled to herself.

…

…

"Hey Lucy!" Natsu said as he waved towards her infront of his vehicle. Apparently it was made from a top-notch car company called 'Edolas'. Natsu was dressed in baggy jeans and a black t-shirt with his trademark scarf.

"Natsu, how long do you intend to keep going on dates with me?" Lucy asked as she got into the vehicle.

"Every single day until you fall for me" Natsu cheekily replied.

Short chapter and late. I'm ashamed in myself... Oh well, good news is that I get a 4-day weekend this week! Getting pretty close to a contest (Maybe 4 chapters) to decide the faith of this story. Karaoke is going to be the last date. Also, did you like the name of the chapter?
