Hermione headed to the twins room and knocked. She hadn't gotten to say much to them during dinner, and had felt bad because she hadn't spent near any time with them that day.

"Come in…" The twins chimed. Hermione slowly opened the door two bags held in hand.

"Hey." She said. "I'm glad I caught you before you went to bed. I brought you both something."

"You did?" Fred asked as she closed the door behind her.

"Mhm… A good luck present for the shop." She held out their separate bags. "Well not really good luck but presents none the less."

"You didn't have to do this Love." Fred said reaching into his bag. "Whoa…" he pulled out a thirty year old bottle of Merlot.

"So you can toast your first night of big profits." She said kissing his cheek.

"Whiskey… You know me so well." George said holding a forty year old bottle of fire whiskey. "Thanks Love." He kissed her. "This is perfect."

"You're welcome. I'm so excited for you two." She said. "This is a big night you must be very excited for tomorrow."

"A little nervous." Fred said.

"You guys will do great you've been selling your stuff for over a year now. The only difference is you're in a store front instead of the Gryffindor common room. You two have absolutely nothing to be worried about."

"I guess you're right." Fred said with a nervous shrug.

"Of course I am, I'm Hermione Granger." She said making them smile.

"Will you stay with us tonight Love?" Fred asked.

"If you want me too." She said.

"Hermione?" she walked to their door and opened it up to find Mr. Weasley at her own.

"Here Mr. Weasley." She said, he turned with a smile.

"Hello." He said. "I just wanted to tell you that Dumbledore is down stairs, he needs your help with something."

"He isn't going to drop anything else into my head is he?"

"No I think you'll be quite excited why he's here. I just need to go get my hat, boys you'll be coming as well as our order member escorts… Since the threat from Lucius Malfoy Hermione is to have three order members with her.

"Of course." The twins said as they slipped on their shoes and grabbed their coats. They followed Hermione down the stairs where Dumbledore was waiting.

"Miss Granger." He said with a pleasant smile.

"Professor…" she greeted. "What do you need my help with?"

"You'll see very shortly…" he lent his arm and she looked at the twins who now stood beside their father.

"Go ahead we're right behind you." Mr. Weasley urged.

"Alright…" she set her hand on the leant arm and felt the familiar pull at her navel. Whenever she travelled with Dumbledore the ride seemed smoother and less irritating. They slowly set down on the ground and Hermione looked around at the familiar street.

"Wait a minute…" Hermione said softly as Fred George and Mr. Weasley apperated next to them. "This is my old street."

"That it is." Mr. Weasley said.

"No…" She said looking to Dumbledore. "One of my cousins…"

"Two actually…" he said.

"Two of my cousins are magical?"

"Indeed they are." She smiled softly as they walked down the street towards a familiar house. Hermione stopped at the edge of the driveway.

"Are you alright to go in?" Dumbledore asked.

"Of course, I just haven't been back since I handed it over…" she said with a smile as she headed forward. They all followed her as she walked to the front door and rang the doorbell. They heard some one walk to the door before it clicked and opened.

"Hermione?" Mitus inquired.

"Hey."

"Look at you!" he moved forward and hugged her, a warm embrace she hadn't quite been expecting. "You've grown so much... Oh uhm Hello… Arthur yes?" he asked seeing the older red headed gentleman.

"Nice to see you again Mitus." They shook hands.

"Uncle Mitus these are my two…" she looked over her shoulder. "Uhm… Friends, Fred and George, they are the sons of Arthur."

"Good to meet you two."

"Same." They said with a nod.

"And this here is Professor Dumbledore My head master."

"Nice to meet you. Where are my manners do come in." he stepped aside slowly they moved through and Hermione smiled.

"Look at this place, it looks fantastic…" Hermione said.

"We painted and decorated a bit."

"It looks amazing."

"It's all thanks to you for paying for it…" Hermione turned and stopped seeing an older woman with a pale expression and a Green Emerald bandana over her head.

"Aunty A?" she asked.

"Hermione dear come here." She said stretching out on arm, the other holding onto a cane. "Oh my goodness how beautiful you have become." She said hugging her.

"You're sweet." Hermione said. "You look well…" she said.

"Now you're the sweet one." She pinched her cheek. "I see you brought visitors with you?"

"Yes uhm I actually brought them because Professor Dumbledore here has some things to speak to you both about." She said looking to her Aunt and then to her Uncle.

"Really? Well do come sit, I'll put on some tea." Anne said.

"Oh no I'll do that…" Hermione said.

"Are you sure?"

"Of course." Hermione led her over to the couch and helped her sit.

"I think we'll wait for the tea to begin." Dumbledore said.

"Sounds good… So how do you all know my dear Niece?" Anne asked.

"Oh this here is Arthur he's been the one caring for Hermione since what happened to Jane and Jack…" Dumbledore said.

"Bless you, we're so glad she's in such good hands." Anne said smiling at Mr. Weasley with Bright green eyes. The twins knew why Hermione hadn't introduced them as her boyfriends, they expected the two muggles were about to be getting a shock from learning two of their children were magical. Hermione probably figured she didn't need to add on the shock that she was in a taboo relationship. Hermione walked in with a tray and set it down.

"Looks wonderful." Anne said. "Hermione here like her mother always makes the best tea."

"It's true." Mitus said as he took a sip the others following suit.

"Very good." Anne said. "So to what do we owe this surprise?"

"We're here about your son Jessup and your daughter Hazel."

"Is everything alright?" Anne asked.

"Yes I'd say so…" Dumbledore said.

"You see Uncle Mitus, Aunty A… It turns out…" Hermione's expression softened. "That Jessup is a young wizard and Hazel is a young witch…"

"What?" Mitus asked.

"I knew it." Anne said with an excited smile. "I did I really did."

"You knew it?" he asked looking to her. "How did you know it?"

"Well in all honesty I thought it was the chemo messing with my head but two weeks ago I could have sworn I saw the toys in Jessup's room were dancing about."

"Dancing about and you didn't mention it?" Mitus asked.

"Well I didn't want you to worry dear." She said. "So our children they are like Hermione?"

"At least two of them." Hermione said.

"What about our youngest Jacqueline?" Anne asked.

"We won't know until she's a little older." Dumbledore said.

"It's a good chance she is though." Hermione said. "Seeing as not just one of her siblings is magical but two, that is quite rare in a muggle family…"

"Very true." Dumbledore said.

"I don't know quite how to feel about this…" Mitus said.

"I think it's wonderful." Anne said. "Just splendid really."

"It really is for more than one reason." Hermione said with a soft expression. "You see because you're children our magical you now have the option of magical health care…"

"You mentioned you were on Chemo." Mr. Weasley said. "Magical Medicine has made leaps and bounds far greater than muggle medicine has when it comes to Cancer."

"It's true, though a cure hasn't been found the life expectancy from cancer in the magical world is a lot higher than in the muggle world." Hermione said.

"I could… Live?" Anne asked softly.

"Yes… For a very very very long time…" Hermione said softly.

"It's been a waiting game for months…" She said softly. "I'm still on Chemo but it's not doing anything… It's not helping…"

"They said she had six months left at best…" Mitus said taking his wife's hand.

"If we got you into Mungos tomorrow you could have up and well over thirty years." Dumbledore said.

"Is that true Hermione?" Mitus asked.

"Depends on how much you're willing to pay." She said honestly. "And uhm I'm willing to pay a lot…"

"Hermione has been petitioning for you to get into Mungos for months, you're children being magical was just what she needed to break through." Dumbledore said.

"I'm going to see my children grow." Anne laughed grabbing a tissue as a tear fell down her cheek.

"This is a blessing…" Mitus said.

"Mungos is a nice facility but maybe the heartford in Georgia would be best…" Hermione said quietly. "I hear they rival the medicine at Mungos…"

"Georgia where is Georgia?" Anne asked.

"The United States… America." Hermione said.

"America that is quite a far way…" Anne said.

"Dark times are ahead for the magical world…" Hermione said. "Trust me when I say you do not want your children in Europe when it all goes down. The fact that they are my niece and Nephew puts them at great risk…"

"You're afraid that what happened to you will happen to us." Mitus said.

"I am… Now if you will allow me too I will set up everything pay for everything and I will get you out of the country."

"How are the Magical schools in America?" Mitus asked.

"One of my old school mates runs a very nice coed school in New York… I think your children would be very happy there when it comes time for them to go to school…"

"Who knows by the time Hazel turns eleven and it's time for her schooling to begin, what's going on here might be over and you all might be able to return so they can go to Hogwarts."

"That would be nice." Mitus said.

"Hermione you really think we should leave?" Anne asked.

"I do, I really do." She said.

"Then that's what we'll do." Mitus said and her Aunt nodded in agreement.

"We'll find you a good home and I'll set up everything so you can go to the Heartford magical hospital whenever you need… You'll all be comfortable I'll make sure of it." Hermione said.

"I'll begin getting papers in order." Dumbledore said.

"How do we tell our children what they are?" Mitus asked. "Hermione how did you find out?"

"Dumbledore sat me down and had a long discussion over tea with me… But if you'd like I can go up stairs and speak to them if they're not already in bed."

"That would be lovely, They should be up in the play room that's where your office was."

"Right I'll be down in a while." Hermione got up and headed up the stairs the twins following. She walked down the hallways and to her old office where she pushed open the door. She smiled softly seeing all the toys in the room dancing around the two small children. When they spotted Hermione and the twins she toys dropped.

"That's a cool trick…" Hermione said pulling out her wand. "But what do you think of this?" the stuffed toys in the room leapt up to their feet and began to dancing with each other in elegant circles.

"Whoa…" Jessup said his brown eyes wide with intrigue.

"How are you doing that?" Hazel asked looking to Hermione with Green eyes much like her mother.

"Well I'm like you." Hermione said walking in and sitting down in front of them as the toys stopped dancing with one another.

"Who are they?" The twins watched as the six year old boy pointed at them.

"Those are my two friends Fred and George." They waved and walked in sitting down on either side of Hermione.

"Who are you?" Jessup asked looking to Hermione.

"This is our cousin Hermione, Jess." Hazel said.

"I'm surprised you remember me, it's been so long since I saw you…" Hermione said.

"Dad has your picture up in their bedroom…" Hazel explained.

"Your parents died." Jessup said playing with yellow toy trunk.

"That's rude Jessup." Hazel scolded.

"It's fine." Hermione said with a smile.

"You said you were like us how are you like us?" Hazel asked.

"Dad used to say you were freak." Jessup said.

"Not anymore." Hazel added.

"Are we freaks?" Jessup asked. "Because we can move toys around without using our hands?"

"No you're not freaks… But you are very special… You Jessup are a wizard and you Hazel are a witch."

"Like you?" Hazel asked.

"That's right." Hazel smiled softly as Hermione began to explain to them what exactly that meant to be magical. After she had finished the kids stayed quiet for a long while.

"Aunt Anne says the magical world is hard for you…" Hazel said a teddy bear sitting on her lap.

"It can be." Hermione said.

"Why?" Jessup asked.

"Because my parents were muggles."

"Like ours?" Hazel asked, and Hermione nodded. "Does that make us less then children who were born from magical parents?"

"No." Hermione said. "Not at all… Fred and George here are from a long line of magical witches and wizards…"

"It's true." George said.

"And Hermione here is way better than we are." Fred said and she smiled softly.

"So are we better than people like them?" Hazel asked.

"No." Hermione said. "But I do think we appriciate our magic a little bit more."

"I'd say that's fair." George said and Fred nodded in agreement.

"What if kids bully us?" Hazel asked.

"Then you tell them that your cousin is Hermione Granger and if they say one more thing against you she'll come to your school and beat them up." Fred said.

"Fred." Hermione laughed.

"He's right that's what you say." George stated.

"Okay!" Jessup said.

"When will we go to school?" Hazel asked.

"When you turn Eleven…"

"So… We won't go together?" Jessup asked looking to his sister.

"You'll be a year apart…"

"So I have to go alone?" Hazel asked. "What if I'm the only Muggle born?"

"You won't be." Hermione said.

"Are you sure?" Jessup asked.

"I'm sure."

"Children?" they turned to see Anne.

"Mum we're magical!" Jessup said.

"She already knows that…" Hazel said with an all knowing look that reminded the twins much of Hermione.

"You may be magical but that doesn't change your bed time, Scoot off to bed we have a big day tomorrow."

"Fine…" the kids drawled.

"Thanks for coming over Hermione." Jessup said hugging her tightly. "See you later." He said as he dragged his toy truck behind him and walked out.

"I'm glad I'm like you." Hazel said walking to Hermione. "I think it will make us closer." She hugged her. "I love you Hermione."

"Love you too Hazel." Hermione said with a smile. The little girl pulled away and Hermione looked her over.

"You remind me much of myself when I was your age…" Hermione said quietly as she pushed a lock of bushy hair over her ear.

"Good." Hazel said before heading off with a laugh. Hermione slowly stood along with the twins.

"We leave tomorrow Dumbledore has set it all up." Anne said.

"As soon as you find a place, you write to me and I'll pay for it. There's no price limit so get a mansion if you want I'll cover it."

"Dumbledore has already chosen a place, some where we will be protected by these people called Aurors."

"That's good you'll be safe then."

"Yes but that means we all won't be able to speak…"

"It's for the best Aunty A. I assure you that."

"But the children they need you right now. This is big that they're magical. They need someone from the family like them."

"I'll send letters to you through Dumbledore, and you can do the same with me. I won't leave the children alone I promise… I'll also make sure they start a magical program early so they'll be ahead of the class when school time rolls around… They'll be prepared Aunty A you don't have to worry." The older woman moved forward and held her.

"I'm just so sorry we'll be so far away from one another…" she pulled away. "Would you come with us… If I pleaded would you?" She looked her Aunt over for long moment. "I know things were tense in the past but now… Hermione… I worry about you… Come with us. Please?"

"I can't leave… I'm sorry."

"You're loyalty to this Harry Potter is something to be admired but I fear it may be a lost cause."

"Nothing is a lost cause, not if you believe in-."

"It enough." Mitus finished for Hermione as he walked in. "The Granger family motto. We're a stubborn bunch aren't we?"

"Just a bit." Hermione said softly.

"I'm just so sorry I wasted so much time we could have had together… I'm sorry I let my greed cloud my judgment."

"You don't have to be sorry I understood it." he moved forward and hugged her.

"You remind me so much of your parents… You have the best of them you know?" he asked pulling away. "The very best, you're mothers kindness and loyalty, and your fathers inability to back down."

"Promise me both you will be careful?" Hermione asked.

"We promise." They said.

"Good… I'll write to you both as soon as possible… Say good bye to the children for me."

"We will…" Fred Hermione and George walked out of the room and down the stairs.

"Oh Hermione!" Mitus called walking after them.

"Yes?" she asked.

"I found this a few days ago, thought you might want it." he handed her a large photo album. "It had a lot of shots of Finn in there."

"Th-thank you… I thought it had been lost." Hermione said with a soft expression.

"No problem… Safe travels." He hugged her.

"You too…"

"And Hermione?"

"Yes?"

"Be safe with what you're doing… You're the closest thing to my brother I have left."

"I will Uncle Mitus, I promise." Hermione nodded at him before walking out the door the photo Album held to her chest. As they walked to the apperation zone Hermione's mind was buzzing.

"I think that went quite well." Dumbledore said.

"Quite swimmingly…" Mr. Weasley stated.

"Professor Dumbledore?" Hermione asked making them stop.

"Yes?"

"If anything happens to that family." She turned and looked to him. "I'm holding you responsible."

"I know." He said with a nod.

"You know me and you know what I'm capable of." She said with a dark look.

"I do."

"Good, keep that in mind when choosing the aurors who will protect them." He nodded before watching her and the twins disappear with a loud pop. .

"She doesn't trust me anymore." Dumbledore said.

"Do you blame her?" Mr. Weasley asked.

"No… No I guess I don't."

-o-

Hermione slowly came down the stairs her mind cloudy. After getting home from her uncles house and her former home she had crashed with the twins up in their bedroom. She looked to the clock to see it was early morning and sighed her mouth feeling dry. She yawned as she walked to the cupboard grabbed a glass of water and took a sip as she leaned against the counter lazily. A huge bang sounded and she dove to the ground as she watched a group of death eaters rush in. She looked around and found herself back at her old house.

"No… Not again…" she shook her head. "Not again!" She jolted up chest heaving as she stared out the twins bedroom.

"Love… Love you okay?" George asked he and Fred sitting up with her.

"Are you hurt?" Fred asked.

"No… No it was… It was just a run of the mill nightmare. I'm good." She said burying her face into her hands. "I'm okay. I'm safe…" Fred and George wrapped their arms around her and pulled her back down onto the bed. She snuggled against them. After a long moment she sighed and kissed both their cheeks.

"I'm going to go down stairs for some tea…" She said softly.

"I'll go with." George said.

"No stay here and rest… I'll come back up in a bit." She kissed their cheeks again and smiled as she heard Fred start to softly sleep once more. She slowly snuck out of the bed and quietly moved across the old floor where she snuck out of the room and closed the door as quietly as she could. She slowly headed down the stairs careful not to hit the last stair which creaked loudly thanks to the charm her boyfriends had set upon it years before.

She walked over to the cupboard and grabbed a glass before filling it with water, not wanting to take the time to put on tea. She smiled softly as she leaned against the counter a took a sip. She realized what she was doing was much like the dream she had had and the night of her parents attack but she also knew she was a awake and very safe. As she took another sip she felt a cold chill run up her spine. She turned quickly half expecting to see a group of death eaters but froze when she saw only empty dark space. She put her glass down and quickly and quietly headed up the stairs.

She was losing it. Staying around in a dark house wouldn't help her. A walk would, maybe even a run. She pulled off the pair of white draw string pants she had and replaced them with some skinny jeans and slipped into some flats. She looked up at her ceiling where her books were slowly circling and tilted her head wondering which one she should take on her early morning walk.

"Maybe Jane…" as Pride and Prejudice dropped down into her hands she caught something moving outside her window. She slowly walked over and opened the pangs before looking all around the sky. It was dark out, though her body told her it was clearly early morning. She checked her pocket watch on her desk and raised an eyebrow. "Six am… The sun should be rising…" she looked back out at the sky and tilted her head. it was dark like it would be at night but it was dark all the same. Almost like an eclipse. She looked straight up from her window and let out a small gasp as she watched a shadowy fog race in through Ron and Harry's window.

"No… No…" she raced out her room. "Harry!" she screamed rushing up the stairs. "Ron!" As she approached their door she could hear the ones behind her open.

"What's going on?" Mr. Weasley asked groggily.

"We're being attacked!" she yelled before racing to the boys door and kicking it open. She tilted her head wand drawn when she saw they were both fast asleep. Ron snored so loudly it woke him up and he slowly sat up.

"Hermione?" he asked his eyes still hooded. "I like this one…"

"What are you on about?" she asked panicked as Mr. Weasley and Mrs. Weasley rushed up behind her.

"Boys!?" the older woman asked and this time it woke Harry up.

"What the bloody hell is the noise about?" Ron asked now completely waking.

"Where is it?" Hermione asked.

"Where's what mione?" Ron asked groggily.

"The thing that just blasted in through your window." She walked further into the room and looked around.

"Nothing is here Hermione…" Mr. Weasley said. "Are you sure you didn't just have some of those night terrors…"

"No no I saw it…" she said. "I know what I saw…" she froze her jaw clenching. She could feel it. The sense that someone was watching her. Harry slowly stood and walked to her side.

"What's going on?" Fred and George asked.

"You feel that?" she asked Harry softly.

"Yeah… Yeah I do…" he reached for his wand and Mrs. Weasley let out a shriek as a huge man dropped down from the ceiling and slammed the back of his hand across Harry's face knocking him to the ground.

"You're coming with me!" He yelled as he went to rush forward and grab him. Before he could Hermione kicked the man in the stomach and slammed her fist across his face before pointing her wand at him. The death eater knocked it from her hand but she rushed forward and pushed him out the window the glass shattering around him as they both tumbled out of the house.

"Hermione!" Mrs. Weasley shrieked as Fred George and their father rushed down the stairs to get outside quickly.

Hermione clenched her jaw the man had broken her fall but it didn't mean she wasn't in immense pain it just meant she wasn't dead. She slowly stood her jaw clenching as she saw a familiar face come out from the grass lands that surrounded them. Her jaw clenched as her eyes set on Lucius Malfoy. He gave a small wave before he raced forward becoming a cloud of smoke and slamming her into the house down onto the table. The twins and their father jumped back from the impact.

"Time to die mudblood!" Lucius yelled his hands gripping around her neck, squeezing the life from her as he looked down at her in pure rage and disgust.

Mr. Weasley rushed over his wand drawn only to catch a cruciatis curse to the chest. Hermione's eyes widened as she watched him scream out in pain and fall to the floor. Fred and George went to rush forward but she threw out her hand a wall of protection forming and stopping them from racing to her aid.

"No!" they yelled seeing Lucius's hands wrap around her neck.

"Hermione let it down!" George yelled.

"Let us in!" Fred bellowed.

"We were here for Potter but we'll take you again!" The death eater yelled.

"Get…" she grabbed onto his hands. "The fuck…" fire erupted from her palms and burned his skin. "Off me!" He screamed out as he was completely engulfed in flames. Mr. Weasley slowly stood as he watched Lucius fall to the ground screaming and writhing as Hermione just sat up on the table and tilted her head and watched. She slowly got off the table and knelt in front of Lucius, the flames instantly subsiding. Lucius shook, his hands and toes curled in at an unnatural way as skin fell off him.

"P-p-please…" He said before letting out a scream of pain.

"P-p-please?" she mocked as she stood up straight and looked down at him. The sight of his burned fleshed and scared eyes made her laugh. "You know… It's funny you should say that because my mother said the same thing." His legs were set aflame. "My father said the same thing." His torso burst into fire as he screamed in utter horror and agony. "But you didn't listen did you?" she asked. "Did you!" she screamed and Mr. Weasley jumped as the man was completely engulfed in fire and levitated from the ground. Hermione smiled softly as she watched him.

"Hermione stop!" Mr. Weasley shouted as Fred and George's eyes grew wide. "Hermione!" she looked to him and he froze seeing her eyes completely eclipsed over. "I know this man caused you great pain."

"Now I'm causing him pain…" Her voice sounded different. More ethereal. "It seems fair to me." she said with a smile looking over the burning man. He could have long died, but she didn't want him to yet. She was keeping him alive just like he had with her.

"It is, it is! But that doesn't mean it's right does it?"

"To me?" she asked looking over the tortured man. "Yes… It seems very right…"

"That's because your mind is clouded."

"My mind has never been more clear…" she said looking to Mr. Weasley with a cynical smile her eyes the most empty black they had ever seen.

"No no it isn't. It's being tricked Hermione. By the type of magics you're using."

"Black magics…" she said softly. "The same type they used on me…" she said her eyes closing as she could hear her own screaming fill her head fueling the hate she had for the man who burned before her.

"Let me die!" He screamed and her eyes opened.

"No…" she said simply. "No… I'm not done with you quite yet…" as the man screamed more and more, she smiled. Mrs. Weasley slowly moved forward Harry Ron and Ginny standing wide eyed at the stair well.

"Dear?" She asked and Hermione quickly turned looking to her, her eyes still black. "Does this make you happy? What you're doing to this man?" Hermione looked to the man and then to Mrs. Weasley her eyes flickering back to normal for a moment.

"No…" She said honestly. "But it does help me forget…" she said before smiling as the man let the shrillest scream he had yet loose for all to hear.

"Help you forget what dear?" Mrs. Weasley asked with a kind expression and Hermione looked to her for a long moment. "What is it helping you forget?"

"My pain…" she said softly her eyes flickering to normal as she looked down with the saddest expression any of them had ever seen. "My fathers pain." Her jaw clenched. "My mothers!" she looked back to the man as the flames grew bigger than ever. "It's all here inside me and it's his fault!" she yelled shaking as every glass object in the house lifted into the air and shattered. Everyone jumped except for Mrs. Weasley who looked over Hermione with a soft gaze.

"Hermione dear… It's not helping." She said and Hermione looked to her. "I know it's not because I can still see the pain in your eyes that I've been seeing since the night your parents were murdered."

"I miss them…" she said softly tears welling up in her eyes. "I miss my mother…"

"I know dear…" Mrs. Weasley said feeling the field of protection before her start to drop as Hermione's eyes slowly turned back to normal.

"This man took her away from me…" she said. "I can't just let him go. I can't just let him live… He didn't let us go he didn't let us live!" Mrs. Weasley tilted her head.

"Love you're still alive…" Mrs. Weasley said.

"I don't feel like it. Sometimes…" she looked to the burning Lucius Malfoy. "Sometimes I think I'm still in my living room getting stabbed…" the flames grew. "Water boarded." They grew more. "Burned!" The flames grew hotter than they ever had been making Lucius scream.

"You're killing me!"

"No." Hermione said as he dropped to the ground the fire dying completely out his skin slowly regrowing thanks to her magics. "No I'm making you feel what I have felt every day since the night you burst into my home and robbed me of everything good in my life you son of a bitch!" he slammed her hand into his chest and he screamed out as he felt himself slowly begin to burn from the inside. "It'll be unbearable at first…" she said as she gazed down at him. "So unbearable you'll try anything to end it but the hospital won't let you… Don't worry though you'll begin to be able to stand it. Little by little you'll learn to act normal again because you have to… Because you don't want to lose face… But there will be moments in the night… Moments where you'll feel that fire, that pain, erupt with in you so vividly and so wretchedly that you'll be back to this room. You'll be brought back and you'll see my face and you will question whether I let you live or not…" he stared at her wide eyed. "Do you want the answer do you want to know whether you're alive or dead?" He nodded quickly. "You'll never get it. Not from me." she stood and flames burst from him chest and engulfing his body. "My guess though?" she asked. "Fucking dead!"

"Is this helping?" Mrs. Weasley asked calmly.

"Knowing that he will live with one percent the pain I live with everyday?" she asked. "A little…"

"Does it avenge you're parents?"

"This isn't about revenge." She turned. "It may seem like it I know… But this is about sending a message. He came here. Here. To the burrow. He tried to take Harry. He hurt Mr. Weasley!" she said pointing at him. "He was going to hurt the rest of you I had to stop him before he killed everyone else I loved!"

"You stopped him." Mr. Weasley said and she looked to him.

"If I let him go he'll just come back he'll come back and he'll kill everyone…" she said her eyes wide as her jaw clenched as she felt the field of protection slip away. "He'll kill you and nanoon... I can't lose my parents… Not again..."

"You're not going to lose us Hermione…" Mr. Weasley said as he and his wife slowly approached her.

"I have to keep you two safe… Don't you see that?" she asked as the field dropped completely.

"That's not your job Dear… It's not your job to keep us safe…" Mrs. Weasley wrapped her arms around her and Hermione closed her eyes tightly as tears slipped down her cheeks.

"It's ours…" Mr. Weasley added as his arms encircled both Hermione and his wife as they collapsed down to the ground.

"It wasn't your job to keep your parents safe either dear it was theirs. It was their job to protect both you and themselves…" Hermione let out a sob as she clutched onto Mrs. Weasley. "It was their job…" The fire that had been engulfing Lucius stopped and Mr. Weasley waved his wand the man disappearing from sight. The floor slowly stopped shaking and Mrs. Weasley felt Hermione go limp in her arms. "Hermione?" she pulled back and watched as her head lolled back her skin pale tears still roaming down her cheeks. "Hermione?" she shook her slightly before bowing her head forward and rested her ear against her chest. "Arthur she's barely breathing…" she said not hearing deep breaths being taken in.

"Do not fret…" they all looked up to see Dumbledore Tonks and Remus. "She's just drained…" Dumbledore explained. "I've been seeing this coming for some time… I just didn't know when it would occur…"

"You've saw this coming?" Mr. Weasley asked. "You saw it and you did nothing to warn us."

"I didn't want you to become frightened of her and her power."

"I could never be frightened of Hermione, she is a daughter to me. I love her unconditionally…" Mr. Weasley said. "I would have become concerned but never frightened. If you had told us we could have taken steps to protect her from this… To watch over her more… I could somewhat deal with you dropping those awful memories into her head without her or my consent but this is the final straw Dumbledore." He said walking up to him. "Since the day the courts granted her permission to live here she became my daughter. My child. You do not mess with my children Dumbledore. Do you understand?" he nodded. "You want to see her you come to me. You have news about her you come to me. You have an inkling that something major is going to go down you come to me do you also understand that?"

"I do… I didn't mean to cause trouble…"

"Well you did…"

"Arthur her wounds are opening up…" Mrs. Weasley said seeing Hermione's scars slowly begin to bleed.

"Take her to mungos we're going to follow close behind." Mr. Weasley said. "Fred George get changed you'll want to be at her side when she wakes up."

"Right." they said rushing up the stairs.

"Tonks Remus inform the other order members that we need protection detail at the hospital for her." Mr. Weasley said.

"Of course." Tonks said apperating from sight with Remus. "As for you… Stay the hell away from my children… That includes Harry." He said to Dumbledore.

"I didn't mean to cause so much pain to her… I really didn't."

"Yes you did." Mr. Weasley said walking over and picking her up in his arms. "You just didn't care." He apperated from sight.
