Authors Note: Sorry about the mistake last chapter! It's been so long since I continued this fic, and I'm happy to see you guys again too! Haha. My first year of university is almost over (finals to go now) and life events prevented me from writing for so many months. Hope to see you guys more often again. (It's so heartening to see users that I recognize come back and reviewing my stuff.)
Himuro watched silently as the taxicab rolled away. Perturbed. Disturbed. He was feeling so many things that were so unusual he tried to push them all away. But he his face was still cool and expressionless. He refused to give anything away.
What the hell was all that?
First of all, he came here with Kagami. He was supposed to go home with Kagami. This was supposed to be him spending time with Himuro. Not taking Kuroko Tetsuya home.
Okay, sure. He has a reason. But what's up with that… thing…?
He felt a clear tension between the two during the meal. Kagami kept glancing at Kuroko, and Kuroko was making sure to keep a clear distance between him and everyone else. He didn't even acknowledge Himuro.
Two people that he felt like he had some sort of connection with… end up having their own kind of connection? Himuro bit his lip nervously as he tried to make sense of it all.
Kuroko Tetsuya. Attends the same university. Is in the basketball team, apparently. Had a hickey on his neck the first day I met him. I don't really know him that well. Had sex with a stranger… and is wrung up about it.
Kagami Taiga… my best friend. The guy that I…
Himuro shook his head. He'd figure out what kind of relationship those two had soon enough. There was no point wringing his hands and walking in circles about it right now. He let out a big breath and watched its condensation appear in the air and dissipate.
Trying to open Kuroko's dorm room while holding Kuroko was probably the hardest thing he had ever done.
Kagami didn't exactly have any close partners in the previous years, so he never was placed in a situation like this before. At least Kuroko wasn't heavy, and Kagami's workout for basketball was certainly paying off. He was barely breaking a sweat.
Although, it did make him want to sweat when he saw the multiple stares he got while carrying an unconscious male body in his arms to the dormitory. He could only be glad of the fact that it was getting late, and not many people were out and about on campus.
Kagami praised the higher beings when the first key he tried from Kuroko's key ring slid smoothly into the lock. He turned right, and heard a satisfying click. The door opened with ease and he slid the key back into his own pocket while trying not to drop Kuroko. That would have been very bad.
Inside, he set the boy down on what appeared to be his bed. It was a single room, with bare furniture, and a couple of appliances. After flicking the light switch on, Kagami saw that there was an induction cooker, a rice cooker, and a crock-pot sitting in a neat order on a table.
Looks like he prefers to make his own stuff…
It seemed rather clean, in contrast to Kagami's own room. There weren't any dirty boxers tossed on furniture (like his own place), and it did not smell like old laundry. Himuro wasn't particularly neat either, but he was better than Kagami at least.
Kagami, rather worn out from the whole ordeal, sat down on the bed. What was he going to say when Kuroko woke up? Or rather… what did he want to come out of this?
He was getting way too ahead of himself. What was he doing sitting on Kuroko Tetsuya's bed when he barely knew a single thing about him? Why was he thinking about making food for him when he woke up? And why on earth was Kuroko's sleeping face so…
Kagami covered his face as he felt a blush creeping up onto it. It was infinitely frustrating to find himself attracted to a male as if it came naturally, when all his life he assumed he was only attracted to women. Well, it wasn't his fault that he suddenly stumbled upon a beautiful man who practically asked him to make love to him. Kagami swallowed with difficulty as his eyes trailed down Kuroko's pale neck, and stopped at the hem of his shirt.
I want to see more.
He felt his hand automatically move up, but he stopped himself. He had to restrain himself, right? Kuroko wanted to forget that it ever happened. They were starting fresh. He wasn't supposed to do anything like kissing Kuroko's sweet skin, or pulling his shirt off… or…
Hell. He wasn't good at self-restraint in the first place. He was wildly attracted to the boy lying beneath him and there wasn't a thing that could stop him from taking what he wanted. Kagami lowered his head towards Kuroko, and a sweet scent filled his nostrils. He had smelled it the very first time, but it smelled even better now. The temptation to bury his face into it was killing him.
Shit... he cursed in his head as his hand slowly ran through Kuroko's soft blue hair and cupped the boy's face. His skin was smoother and softer than a boy's should be, and Kagami found himself losing in the feeling of touching the one that had been avoiding him so much. His hands trailed a path down, until his mouth found it's way to Kuroko's neck. He took a deep breath, taking in the scent that aroused him so much. The sweet and relaxing smell of whatever it was that was on Kuroko's skin threatened to drive him nuts.
He groaned internally and gave a small kiss to his skin.
It felt even softer on his lips and Kagami wanted to explore every inch of Kuroko's body with his mouth. His erection was already straining against his jeans even though he knew he shouldn't. It was taking all of his willpower to not rip the clothes of the blue-haired boy's body and ravishing it until he was satisfied. Even then, he didn't know if he could be satisfied with just one time.
I can't deny it. I want him so bad, and I can't control it. I wish I could hold it back.
"Kagami?" A small voice spoke. His heart nearly leapt out of his chest; he had been so wrapped up in his thoughts. Kagami blinked several times before looking at Kuroko's face. His face showed that he had been awake for a good few minutes and that he had been aware of everything Kagami was doing.
"Uhhh..." Kagami opened his mouth, but nothing came out. He was on his knees, looming on top of Kuroko on the bed, with his hands in a rather comprising position. He suddenly felt like he had been caught red-handed.
"What... are you doing?" Kuroko's face was now sprouting a light blush.
I swear, if I had no self-control right now, I'd be ravaging his body until that blush would turn full on.
Even though Kuroko was awake, his erection refused to go away. Rather, he was more turned on than ever, even though it was so wrong. Kagami respected Kuroko, and taking advantage of someone when they weren't clear-headed was not something that Kagami Taiga would do.
"I-i... Sorry. I didn't mean to..." Kagami coughed apologetically.
Kuroko didn't look away, instead locked his gaze onto Kagami's.
Was he angry? Was he thinking of ways to put Kagami on a restraining order, or punish him? He wasn't going to get kicked off the basketball team for this, right?
Kagami knew he should be feeling guilty for going against Kuroko's wishes, but somehow he couldn't feel it. He just felt his desire coursing through his veins. In any other situation, his brain would be working over his heart, but for some reason it refused to work.
"I...uh.." Kuroko muttered incoherently, "hm..."
"Sorry, what?" he asked.
"I.. might be...a little drunk but..."
"Please don't stop."
He definitely should have stopped after the first can. Kuroko knew that he was a lightweight. But maybe his subconscious was begging for something to happen, and Kuroko's conscious would never admit to that. He was too ashamed of the past to move on to the future. Sure, he was avoiding the truth, and pushing it away… but what real harm did that do to him? He was protecting himself.
However, as Kagami Taiga's fingers brush gently through his hair he was filled him with a particular feeling: the feeling of wanting this ferocious tiger to protect him, and the feeling of sweet desire.
But he could protect himself just fine. He didn't need Kagami Taiga for his entire life, and he didn't need him now. It was likely that he was saying all these things to himself to deny the feeling that was growing inside of his chest.
I want to be close to him. I'm getting attention from everyone… but I'm pushing away the attentions of the one I want the most.
Kuroko knew what he was doing by admitting these things to himself, but he couldn't help it when Kagami was on top of him, stroking his hair and kissing his neck. The musky scent of Kagami's body scent filled his nostrils and he resisted the urge to breathe in deeply. It felt like he was being marked.
He couldn't do it anymore. Maybe it was the testosterone from Kagami, but the state he was in made it impossible to deny himself anymore. His eyes fluttered open, and when he saw that the red-head was just as turned on as he was himself, he opened his mouth.
Whatever may come of it, Kuroko promised himself that he wouldn't regret it. He was jumping into the claws of danger, screwing logic, and going headfirst.
