The boy immediately jumped back, as if he was swallowed once more by the darkness that had originally hid him, and seemingly disappeared, "Leave. Now!"
"Damn it, Kanda, why did you have to go and do that?!" Lavi yelled at his friend as he stepped around the fire, trying to make out any movement fro the hiding boy.
"Please come back out! Kanda didn't mean it like that! It's just that, you look like someone we have been searching for, and we can't leave knowing that you're him." Lenalee called to the shadows, hoping to regain the trust of the boy, and get him to follow them.
"I shall not believe you anymore. Though you are not Humans, you are as mischievous as they are! I want you to leave my home, immediately!" The boy commanded, again, furious that the intruders were not leaving.
"Lenalee already told you, we can't leave without you, so you have to come with us." Kanda restated again, as he walked closer to the darkness where the boy disappeared to.
"I can not, and shall not, go with you." The boy insisted as his shuffling feet could be heard in the darkness, "Leave me."
"No." Kanda still as he strained his ears to hear where the boy was hiding, before suddenly lunging into the shadows.
"Let me go!" The boy's struggles could be heard even before Kanda dragged the boy from the darkness of the cave.
"Are you sure this is alright, Kanda? I mean... We're practically kidnapping him!" Lenalee argued as she saw the boy claw at Kanda's arms, causing fine slits of blood to form.
"We have spent centuries looking for him after finding that damned prophecy, and you went on and on about him the whole entire time. But now that we've found him, you want to let him go because he doesn't want to come with us?" Kanda asked Lenalee, exhausted from the girls flipping moods.
"I didn't mean it like that Kanda, I'm just saying that—can't we just convince him to come with us?" Lenalee looked at the flustered boy with sadness in her eyes at what they were about to do for their own needs.
The boy paused at what the girl had said, before looking at the rest of the group, seeing something that caused a change in his thinking, the boy stopped fighting Kanda, "You're desperate..."
"What?" Kanda asked, confused at the words the boy had used to describe their situation, but he refused to say anything more.
Taking that as the boy had finally decided to go without a fight; Kanda motioned for his friends to leave the cave.
"But, Kanda, it's still raining." Lavi questioned his friend's logic, they had gone in the cave to get out of the rain, but now that they had found the Savior, he wanted to go back into the very same rain?
"Baka Usagi, we need to get the Moyashi back to Headquarters before he changes his mind again and decides that he won't go with us anymore." Kanda said, unperturbed by the rain.
Kanda, with Allen, were the last to leave the cave, but as Allen left the cave entrance...something went wrong.
The ground shook as Allen screamed in pain, coughing up blood as he collapsed at the entrance.
Kanda went to grab Allen, but a sharp pain shot through his body, making his flesh smell like burning meat.
Lenalee, Lavi, and Komui yelled at Kanda to move as the cave started to seal itself shut. With the last bit of energy in his aching body, Kanda grabbed Allen and threw themselves backwards, just far enough away so they wouldn't get crushed by giant rock.
"Kanda are you, and Allen, okay?" Lenalee cried as she ran to her friend's body to find that his clothes were burnt to a crisp.
"What the hell happened, Yu-chan? Allen just started screaming and throwing up blood the moment he left the cave!" Lavi freaked out as he checked the body of the Savior, only to find that he was completely okay, without a drop of blood on him.
"He said he couldn't leave..." Komui stated calmly as he stared at their surroundings, and withering forest around them.
"Everything's gone to Hell..." Kanda muttered before he blacked out with the sleeping Savior in his arms.
