-That same morning-

Luke truly felt like digging a knife through his chest and ripping his heart with his own hands. He and the Pirates were looking for Grace non-stop, and yet there was no sign of her around the city. But one thing was for sure.

His sister lied to him, she was not staying at some friend's house and it had been days since she had last contacted him. He had also resorted to the police, but they were of no help at all, and had used the fact that they were orphans with no official home as an excuse. According to them, they had other cases much more important than some homeless child who ran away.

Now he was hopelessly sitting on some bench at the park. The crew was practicing while he had decided to take a break and just think of his beloved sister that he horribly failed to protect.

"What if she got kidnapped and she got hurt…" his mind ran through all the gory sceneries his depressed imagination could think off.

His thoughts drifted off as he looked around him. Behind him was this beautiful lake that he remembered from previous visits, but back then, Grace would always come with him. She usually fed the ducks that lived there while he just admired the beautiful view that nature created.

But this time, somehow everything seemed so grey.

"Luke" Said man turned his head to look at the person who spoke his name.

"Natalie"

Luke looked away from her and just stared forward while she sat next to him on the bench.

The silence between them was unbelievably uncomfortable, and because neither of them wanted to break it, they were left sitting down for more than five minutes without talking. The only thing Luke had in his mind was the betrayal. He had given her his trust and his love, but she had slapped him in his face with her secrets.

"Your sister... she's with Julien"

Luke stood up abruptly, and turned around to face Natalie. His expression was fierce and enraged, but contrary to his face, what he said came out s a mere whisper.

"What?"

"One of Moose's old friends gave us a place to practice for the World Jam, it's in the storage room of an arcade" Jacob explained. Grace looked around in wonder but she couldn't help but feel nervous having to face the crew she had inconsiderately left behind.

When they reached the arcade, Jacob walked straight through the games and into the back followed by a hesitant Grace. They both had expected to hear loud music and countless of footsteps but once they reached the storage room, they found the crew sitting on the ground with serious faces.

"Luke is getting worse" Anala mumbled, "with Grace still missing, he just can't focus". Everyone nodded in agreement.

"I miss her" Moose clenched his fists and glared at the ground. "I couldn't do anything to help her, and now she's gone".

"I failed her. I failed her as a boyfriend and… I failed her as a friend" he bit his lip in sadness.

"You didn't fail me Moose, I was the one who failed you"

Moose could not believe what his eyes were looking at. She was right there, standing next to Jacob looking as if she had never been missing. His little angel was back.

"Gracie" he whispered.

Before he, or anyone else could say anything, Grace stepped forward. "I'm sorry!"

"I'm truly sorry everyone! I'm sorry I left you all, I'm sorry I made you worry!..."

"I'm sorry I betrayed the pirates and failed you all"

Grace bowed down to all of them. Her eyes were clenched shut as tears leaked through the, "I'm really sorry" she whispered almost painfully.

She refused to look up, or more like, couldn't look up. She was too afraid to confront their disappointed faces.

"You're so dumb Grace!"

Her heart broke when she heard that. 'It doesn't matter, I deserve it', she thought.
