FALLEN ANGEL

Just before Little Rose could do irreversible damage to Sophie, Sarah suddenly appeared behind the child in her Weeping Angel form. In the blink of an eye, she pulled Little Rose's arms down around her waist in a bear hug and held them against her body tightly even as she violently struggled against her.

Sophie now slid to the ground in a near lifeless heap as she felt her entire body burning in pain. She had come so close to being ripped apart and yet despite that all that she could focus on in that moment was the baby. Was even Sarah's power going to be enough to stop her before it was too late?

Even if she could, would she ever be the same again?

Despite the thickness of her stony exterior, Sarah could still feel Little Rose's power rapidly flowing through her body with incredible destructive force and was filled with unimaginable pain as a result. She still continued to hold onto her though despite that while completely blocking every attempt that she made to teleport away from her.

She knew that if she didn't that Sophie would be dead in a single instant.

"Rose? Rose, it's your dad," Patrick said as he suddenly entered the room.

Patrick, get out of here! Sarah shouted in Patrick's mind.

Patrick completely ignored her however as he slowly walked up to his daughter and said in a kind voice, "Rose, you don't want to do this. I know you don't. This isn't you. You're the sweetest person I know. That's why you have to fight this, honey. You have to fight it with everything that you have. You can't let Amaya use you like this. Don't let her win, Rose. Please. I need you. Who's going to help me win arguments with your Mum if you're not around, huh? I'll be completely at her mercy without you on my side. You wouldn't do that to me would you?"

Patrick couldn't be sure but he thought that he saw an actual smile on the baby's face for a brief moment. It had happened so fast however, if it truly had happened, that he really wasn't sure.

"Rose, please. I love you, sweetie. Don't let her take you away from me and your Mum. Please," Patrick begged as he struggled not to cry in front of her.

He failed miserably as tears welled up in his eyes and began spilling onto his cheeks. His daughter was in danger and there was absolutely nothing that he could do about it. He was completely useless just when she needed him the most. Completely and utterly useless.

Patrick, there's nothing more that you can do. Just take Sophie out of here and go. Sarah said to him telepathically while she gave him a sympathetic look.

"No, I can't just leave her. I have to do something even if it's not working. I have to try. I can't abandon her, Sarah. I just can't," Patrick pleaded in an emotional voice.

"Patrick, stand aside and let the Chancellery Guards inside," Romana said as she suddenly appeared in the doorway.

Patrick could see several of the guards already gathering together behind her and looking at Little Rose anxiously. He could see from the determined looks on their faces exactly what was on their minds and knew right then that Romana had been sent to speak with him because someone thought that he was far more likely to give into her since he knew her.

That just proved that the Guard really didn't know him very well.

Patrick looked at Romana defiantly now as he said, "And let them shoot her? No, that is not happening!"

"Their weapons will be set for stun, Patrick," Romana said in a reassuring tone.

"Yeah, and what about if they don't work on her? What about then? Will they still stay on stun?" Patrick asked with a worried look.

Romana didn't answer. The look of regret on her face spoke volumes however.

"I'm not about to let that happen, Romana. I'm going to save her somehow. I won't just let them shoot her down like that right in front of me," Patrick said in voice filled with passion.

"Do you think I want anything to happen to her, Patrick? I'm here to make sure that the Guards don't go too far. I won't let them kill her," Romana promised.

"Can you guarantee that one of them won't suddenly decide to just end all of this quickly with a lethal setting on their gun because I don't think you can? Well? Can you?" Patrick challenged.

Romana said nothing once more because she knew that she would be lying if she did.

"Right. That's why I'm not allowing them anywhere near her," Patrick said in a tone filled with conviction.

"You tried, Lady Romana, but it's obvious that you've failed. Now we'll do things my way," Commander Maxil said as he suddenly pushed past her with his gun drawn.

"Move aside right now or we'll make you move," Maxil threatened.

"That's exactly what you're going to have to do then . . . if you think you can," Patrick said in a hard voice as he stood there blocking Maxil's path without even once flinching before him.

"Remove him," Maxil said to the Guards in an emotionless voice as he gave Patrick a look of absolute disdain.

"Leave him alone, Maxil. I'll report you to the President if you so much as lay a finger on him," Romana warned.

"I'll take my chances with her later, Lady Romana. Even her considerable wrath won't deter me from doing my duty. I truly regret what must come next but I've been left with no other choice. Gallifrey will not fall on my watch," Maxil said in a firm tone.

"You're not going to touch her!" Patrick screamed as he suddenly punched Maxil in the jaw as hard as he could.

"Restrain him!" One of the Guards shouted as they rushed forward to protect their leader.

"No!" Patrick shouted in fury as he started to wrestle with several of them at once with all of the unearthly strength and fury that only a parent trying to protect their child could possess.

"Maxil, call them off!" Romana shouted as the guards began hitting Patrick in an attempt to knock him out.

Call them off or I'll let Rose go! I'm not about to hold her while you gun her down! Sarah warned Maxil telepathically in a furious tone.

"I suppose that I will have to call your bluff then as the humans might say because it is ultimately a futile one, Lady Sarah. I will do my duty whether you agree with it or not as will you if you value Gallifrey's safety," Maxil said out loud.

I value my niece's safety even more! Sarah replied as she began to fire blasts of energy at the Guards in an attempt to drive them off.

"Enough of this! You will treat everyone in this room as a hostile immediately," Maxil ordered his guards.

As they drew their guns and aimed them at Sarah, Little Rose suddenly began screaming. An enormous blast of energy then poured forth from her in all directions that instantly sent everyone around her flying across the room while simultaneously freeing her from Sarah's grasp.

"Pathetic little man. Did you really think that it would be that easy?" Little Rose said with no trace of emotion whatsoever as she looked down at the now unconscious Maxil.

"You know normally I'd cheer you on for doing that to Mr. Charisma over there despite who he resembles, but you're definitely not on my list of favorite people right now, Amaya," Rose said as she suddenly appeared in front of her granddaughter in a burst of golden energy.

Amaya continued to speak through Little Rose as she said, "And there you are at last, Arkytior. As predictable as ever I see. I knew that you would eventually come to put an end to all of this personally. It's just so you isn't it? Honestly I'm surprised that you let things go this far. What kept you I wonder? Don't tell me that you hesitated to attack your own granddaughter? Is that the human in you, Arkytior?"

"No, that's just called being a decent person period no matter where you come from, Amaya. That's obviously something that you wouldn't know anything about though, mate," Rose said as several ideas on how to restrain the baby without hurting her flowed through her mind with lightning speed while she tried to decide which was the least violent one.

"Your compassion will soon prove to be your undoing, Arkytior. In fact it may happen much faster than even you realize. Until then, however, do have fun playing with the baby, will you?" Amaya said through Little Rose with a malevolent cackle just before she completely severed her connection with her.

The last thing that she saw before she did was the two Roses both hovering in the air across from each other with a grim look on their faces. Neither one was willing to make the first move and at the moment they both seemed to have one another in a complete stalemate.

"Let's let your mother occupy her mind with that for a while so that she won't even realize where she should really be focusing her attention right now, shall we?" Amaya said to Jenny back on the planet of Nibiru as she finally returned her full attention to her at last.

A smug grin slowly spread over Amaya's face now as Jenny looked up at her through half-closed eyelids while lying helplessly on her back somewhere deep within the middle of the mobile Brethren home world. Jenny was currently struggling to stay conscious despite the enormous pain she was in from the Vortex shielding that had now almost completely coated the inside of her nose and lungs. She was left so weakened by this sudden attack, especially after being almost completely cut off from the Vortex energy that she needed to live, that she couldn't even access her Guardian powers anymore due to the shock that it had created to her system.

She knew that she probably had only moments left before Amaya finished her off, but she wasn't about to give up hope just yet. Not by a long shot. Somehow she would still find a way to stop whatever she had planned.

She just had to for her family's sake.

"Is that still defiance I see in your eyes? Incredible. You really never do know when to give up do you?" Amaya said with grudging respect in her voice as Jenny slowly struggled to get back on her feet in front of her.

"Not when my daughter's life is on the line. What have you done with her?" Jenny demanded in a weak voice just before she fell over backwards because her legs just weren't strong enough to support her now.

Just before she could hit the floor however, Amaya caught her.

Then to Jenny's surprise, she gently laid her back down on the floor as she said with a cold smile, "What do you think? I never create a weapon that I don't someday intend to use. She should be starting to spread chaos all over Gallifrey at this very moment because I seriously doubt that Rose Tyler has it in her to hurt her own grandchild. I wonder who will be the first to fall before her? Will it be your mother I wonder? I shall definitely have to find out later just for curiosity's sake."

"No!" Jenny screamed in an outraged voice.

Jenny immediately started to struggle back to her feet once again, but by now she was so weak that she couldn't even pick her head up off the floor much less anything else.

"It's no use, Jenny. It's all over now. Your daughter is mine to do with as I choose . . . just as you will soon be," Amaya said with a wicked grin.

"What?" Jenny said even as she began to feel strange.

"You feel it already don't you? Do yourself a favor, dear. Don't try to fight it. It'll be much easier that way," Amaya said with a satisfied smile.

"You've finally gotten complete control over my biodata too," Jenny realized in horror.

Amaya nodded as she said, "Yes, and you've been so wonderfully helpful with that. Did you really think that I'd simply settle for just controlling your child, Jenny? Did you honestly believe that was my true master plan? No, of course not. I simply knew that it was the best possible way to make you completely abandon all common sense and charge in here with no plan whatsoever. Little Rose has potential of course but you were always the one that I really wanted. Until now, I still couldn't manipulate your biodata no matter how hard I tried though thanks to your powers protecting you. That's why I set this delightful trap for you so that I could strip them away from you and leave you completely helpless to prevent what's soon about to happen to you."

"What do you mean?" Jenny asked as she could sense from Amaya's smile that she had something far worse in store for her than she was currently letting on.

Amaya smiled at her with what almost might be pride as she said, "As intelligent as ever I see. That's one thing that I've always admired about you, you know? You're not only one of the most intelligent opponents that I've ever come across, but you're also unwaveringly loyal to the people that you love. You'll do anything for them no matter what the potential costs might be to yourself. In fact that devotion to your daughter is what led you straight here into what you had to know was a certain trap just on the off chance that you could save her. I can definitely see that I made the right choice in not killing you. Yes, it's far better to have you join me instead but not in the way that you think. I'm not simply making you into a mindless servant, my sweet girl. No, I have far more ambitious plans for you."

Jenny now realized exactly what Amaya meant as she saw with a sickening feeling in the pit of her stomach that her hair was starting to darken and change color, and her legs were growing longer and longer by the moment. Those were far from the only changes either as she noticed yet another one the moment that she spoke again.

"What's happening to me?" Jenny asked in a voice that was now noticeably deeper and far more seductive and sultry than her own.

Jenny clutched her throat in shock as Amaya laughed and said, "I'm using your biodata to completely remake you both inside and out, Jenny. You'd be surprised at just how much control that it can give me over a Time Lord. I can literally make them into an entirely new person altogether without even having to force them to regenerate. I could even use it to make someone over into a perfect duplicate of somebody else if I wanted."

"And what are you going to do to me?" Jenny asked in a numb voice.

"I didn't just want another servant, Jenny. I wanted something far more useful than that. I'm going to completely change not only your physical appearance but also your very thoughts and personality. I will remake you body and soul into someone harder and colder with no sense of remorse or pity for anyone. Soon you will feel nothing but contempt and hatred for your fellow Time Lords and will do anything in your power to see that they finally fall forever. In other words, in a matter of moments now you will soon become a worthy heir to me."

"Heir?" Jenny asked in a confused voice as her hearts slowly began to fill with mindless anger and hatred and her thoughts started to become clouded.

It was becoming harder and harder to think about anything but destroying Gallifrey now no matter how hard she tried.

Amaya's eyes flashed with joy as she said in a mocking tone, "Yes, sweetheart, you see I'm turning you into my new daughter. Your mother kept me from freeing my son so I think it's only fair that I claim one of her children as my own in payment for that. In moments now, you will become someone completely new entirely and will cease to be Jenny Tyler in any way, shape, or form. I'm even rewriting your memories so that you will fully accept me as your mother. It would have been simpler to have just re-written your history completely so that you were created from my genes on Messaline instead but that would completely change your life and erase your daughter from the timeline. She's far too useful to me to do that."

Jenny could already feel her memories being slowly rewritten even as Amaya said this. Soon she wouldn't even remember who she was anymore or even that her baby was in danger.

She wouldn't even remember that she had ever even had a baby at all for that matter.

This sobering thought immediately caused her to say in an emotional voice, "Don't do this. Please."

Amaya actually gave her a gentle, comforting smile to her amazement as she said in a soothing tone, "It won't be so bad. I'll treat you with the utmost respect and try to make you as happy as possible. You'll have the best of everything and will never want for anything."

"Except love," Jenny said in a defiant tone.

Amaya said nothing because she knew that it was true. Jenny was just a tool to use against her enemies and nothing more in the end despite her words.

"Amaya, release my baby. Just let her go home to her father. I don't care what happens to me but let her go," Jenny pleaded with every last bit of love that she still possessed in her hearts even as she felt them both starting to harden and become cold.

"I won't let anything happen to her, Jenny. I'll take care of her as well. I promise," Amaya reassured her.

"Just let her go!" Jenny protested in a furious voice as she felt her mind filling with pure, naked fury just as Amaya wanted.

Amaya put her finger to her lips and gently shushed her quiet then as she said in a soft voice, "It's almost over now. Just relax."

Then she silently watched in mute fascination as Jenny became too wracked with pain to even talk anymore due to the massive changes slowly occurring throughout her body at that moment. By this point, Jenny's hair had changed from naturally straight to frizzy even as it turned completely black and grew all the way down to the middle of her back. At the same time that this was happening her facial features had already started to morph and change right before Amaya's eyes as she slowly became completely unrecognizable as the same woman anymore.

Her eyes now changed color and became bright green instead of blue even as every last bit of love and warmth drained from them and they became filled with cruelty. Amaya noted that they looked almost catlike now in fact. Her nose also changed as it lengthened and became larger so that it was almost aquiline or hook like in appearance. Her lips became fuller and pouty as they twisted into a wicked but somehow still oddly seductive smile.

This new woman taking shape before Amaya was quite beautiful in fact even if it was in a completely different way from the way that she had been before. For one thing, no one would ever think of this version of Jenny as being sweet and kind. There was something noticeably sinister about her now that only the most naive of observers would fail to notice.

These were far from the only changes still to come however. Jenny also became a foot taller as her legs lengthened by several inches. Then even her youth faded away as she began to visibly age until she looked to be somewhere in her mid-30s. Amaya's smile widened even further as she realized that not even Jenny's own mother would know her now.

That was especially true once the final changes to Jenny took place as her mind became twisted with anger and hatred and her thoughts were filled with nothing but violence towards everyone that she once held dear. Now she wanted only to destroy and rip apart everything that she had once fought so hard to protect.

That having been said she didn't quite hate everyone however. She was still quite capable of caring about at least one person as her mind filled with thoughts of love and obedience towards her mother. Or at least the person who her completely altered memories had now convinced her was her mother anyway.

The woman who had once been Jenny Tyler now looked at Amaya questioningly as she said, "Mother, what happened? I'm so weak that I can't even stand up."

Amaya now pulled out a device that she had specially invented herself to quickly remove the Vortex shielding particles from Jenny's body and activated it. Within a matter of moments, her new daughter would be completely back to normal once more or what now passed for normal for her anyway.

Amaya now smiled and said to her new child in a voice that she hoped would convey a warmth and affection that she didn't truly feel towards her, "You were ambushed and caught in a trap by one of my enemies, sweetheart, but don't worry. I'll soon have you feeling as good as new again."

"I was? I don't remember," The confused woman before her said even as she felt her strength gradually returning as more and more particles of Vortex shielding were removed from her system.

"Just relax. It's a side effect of the Vortex poisoning. It will soon fade though," Amaya said in a soft voice.

"I don't even remember my name!" The woman who used to be Jenny shouted in alarm.

Amaya laughed in a good-natured way even as she finally completed Jenny's transformation at last by saying, "That shielding must have really done a number on you this time then, sweetie. Your name is Olivia. Olivia Nox."

And just like that Jenny was gone as the newly born Olivia said with a satisfied smile, "Yes, of course. How could I ever forget that? Olivia. I've always liked that name."

"So have I. It belonged to someone very special to me," Amaya said in a sad voice as she helped a new completely cleansed and rapidly recuperating Olivia to her feet.

Even as she did so she used her powers to completely alter Olivia's clothing while she was still too disoriented to notice. Jenny's usual soldier outfit from Messaline was replaced in an instant with the ceremonial robes of Amaya's ancient ancestral House on Gallifrey. From now on, her daughter would only wear the best. She wasn't a soldier anymore after all. Olivia was now the daughter of the future Lady President of Gallifrey, and she would need to look the part she thought to herself.

"Yes, I remember. You told me all about your family the day I was created from the generator on Messaline," Olivia recalled with a fond smile.

Amaya forced a warm smile onto her face even as her voice betrayed her inner sadness by quivering while she said, "Yes, you would have really loved her I think. Good, it's all coming back to you now then. See? I told you that you would be alright. Lesson number one, Olivia: Never doubt your mother. I'm always right."

Olivia happily returned her mother's smile as she said in a mischievous tone, "Except when you aren't."

Then to Amaya's shock, Olivia suddenly hugged her tightly and kissed her cheek as she said, "I still love you anyway though."

She hadn't expected Olivia to have that much love left within her much less that she would be capable of showing such affection towards anyone. She truly had thought that she had filled her with nothing but negative emotions now but that was obviously not the case.

She could see now that Jenny had been so filled with love that it could never be erased completely only redirected. All of her positive emotions had apparently been directed solely towards Amaya now. This greatly bothered her and it made her almost consider trying to alter Olivia's biodata once more in order to remove them.

She quickly found that she truly didn't mind this new development at all however as Olivia continued to hold her. It felt good to feel the unconditional love of a child once again. It was something that she hadn't really had a chance to experience in such a very long time. She had almost forgotten what it was like in fact.

She surprised even herself now when she began to softly stroke Olivia's hair in a loving manner while she kissed the top of her head and said, "I love you too."

For several long moments, Olivia continued to hold her new mother tightly while she rested her head on her shoulder. The entire time they both stood there in silence while Amaya continued to stroke Olivia's hair.

Then Amaya decided that it had been long enough and reluctantly broke away from Olivia as she said, "Are you feeling better now?"

"Yes, Mother. I'm alright. You know nothing that the Time Lords could possibly throw at me would keep me down for long. Not when they're so determined to destroy you. I wont ever let them hurt you, Mother. I promise," Olivia reassured her.

Amaya now gently stroked her daughter's face as she said in a voice filled with honest emotion, "I'm so very proud of you. Have I told you that?"

"Only every hour of every day. It's still good to hear it though," Olivia said with a warm smile.

"You're the best daughter that anyone could have ever asked for, Olivia. Don't ever forget that," Amaya said in a voice filled with love as she gave Olivia a soft familial kiss on the lips.

Olivia's entire face was immediately covered with a huge grin as she said, "Somehow as long as I'm around you I don't think that's ever going to happen."

"I love you with all of my heart, Olivia," Amaya said and found that she actually meant those words.

This was no longer her enemy who stood before her anymore but a loving, devoted daughter who accepted her unconditionally and would do anything for her. How could she not love her?

"My sweet Olivia," Amaya said as she kissed Olivia's forehead and tears began falling down her face.

She finally had her back again. Her Olivia was back home once more even if it wasn't in exactly the way that she would have wanted.

Olivia's mood darkened then as she said in a ruthless voice, "I won't be so sweet when I go back to Gallifrey again, Mother. I'll make them all pay for keeping you from freeing Erebus . . . especially that hateful little blonde witch."

Amaya smiled in appreciation of her words even as she said in a voice filled with concern, "Just be careful when you go up against her, Liv. Rose Tyler would just love to kill you in order to hurt me for what I did to Clara."

Olivia couldn't help but smile since she always liked it when her mother called her Liv, or at least that's what her new memories now told her anyway, even as she said in a voice completely devoid of emotion, "She'll never get the chance to, Mother. I'll make sure that I bring her to you on her knees just like you wanted. She'll beg us both for mercy just before you finally destroy her once and for all."

Amaya's smile widened even more after hearing this as she said, "You truly are my daughter in every way."

"And proud of it," Olivia said meaning it.

Then she started to glow with power and Amaya knew that she was just about to leave Nibiru and return to Gallifrey to join Little Rose in her rampage of destruction.

Just before she could however, Amaya suddenly grabbed her shoulder and said, "Wait, Liv. There's something that I need you to do first."

Amaya had suddenly gotten a much better idea.

"Of course. Anything, Mother," Olivia said obediently.

"Do you think that you could try again to free your brother from the Void? I know that you weren't able to the last time that we tried it, but you've grown much stronger in the use of your powers since then. Try it again before you leave. For me," Amaya said in a gentle voice as she completely filled Olivia's head full of lies.

"I'll do my best," Olivia reassured her as she quickly accepted these lies without even once questioning them.

She had complete and absolute trust in her mother after all.

Olivia began to glow with the combined might of both her Vortex and Guardian powers now as she closed her eyes and concentrated with every bit of willpower that she possessed. She was determined that she was going to successfully open a pathway through the Void back to their own universe for her brother this time and nothing and no one would stop her.

She would finally get to properly meet him for the first time in her life and give him a hug she promised herself. This time it would actually happen.

Olivia suddenly began to smile as she said in an excited voice, "Mother, it's working. I can feel it. I'm breaking through to him. This time it's working!"

Amaya immediately cried out in victory as she realized that Olivia was finally succeeding where even she had failed when she saw a portal beginning to slowly open before them. Thanks to Jenny's power, Olivia was just about to give Amaya her ultimate victory at last.

"Mother, is that you?" Erebus' voice said from somewhere nearby.

She could tell that the portal had opened very close to him.

"Head into the portal as quickly as you can! Hurry!" Amaya shouted anxiously.

Amaya suddenly felt more joy than she had experienced in centuries in that moment. She was about to get both of her children back again in the same day.

She would have a family again.

Then all of those hopes came crashing down around her in a single horrifying moment as Olivia was suddenly hit from behind with a massive blast of energy that momentarily knocked her senseless. The portal to the Void instantly closed and Amaya could hear Erebus screaming in frustration in her mind because he had been so very close to freedom this time.

So very close.

Amaya instantly whirled around with her face contorted in fury as she faced the person who may have just cost her son his only real chance at freedom. That fury was immediately replaced by stunned surprise however.

"Expecting someone else? Did you really think that I'd let you get away with this, Amaya? Jenny had faith in me when no one else did and believed in me when I didn't even believe in myself. I'll never let her wind up this way. She deserves better than this. I won't let her pay for my mistakes!" Hecuba said in a furious voice as her hands glowed with energy.

"You! It's always you in the end isn't it? You took her from me before but you won't do it this time! Not this time!" Amaya screamed as she fired a massive burst of energy towards the one person that she hated even more than Rose Tyler.

Hecuba quickly teleported out of the way of her blast and reappeared right next to Amaya just in time to deliver a crushing blow to the base of her skull that instantly knocked her out cold. As Amaya's body crumpled to the floor before her, Hecuba raised a glowing hand to her head while preparing to deliver a killing blow.

Then she hesitated for a moment because she knew that all of this was just as much her fault as it was Amaya's. After all, she had been the one to finally take Amaya's last shred of decency away from her on the day that she killed the original Olivia in battle and then deliberately made her death a fixed point in time.

All so that she could hurt her mother who had dared to try to kill her and steal her power in order to free Erebus.

Now those actions had come back to haunt her in the worst way possible as Amaya hurt the person that she now loved more than anyone else because of what she had done. She had caused all of this.

That brief moment of hesitation was now to be her undoing as Olivia suddenly screamed from behind her, "Mother!"

Hecuba never even had time to turn around before she was ruthlessly disintegrated and had her atoms completely scattered across time and space. Her last thoughts were ones of regret. Not for herself but for the pain that she knew that Jenny would one day feel over this.

That is of course if there was still a Jenny left to feel anything. At that moment there definitely was not as Olivia began to smile with satisfaction while she laughed to herself.

"You should have made sure that I was dead before you turned your back on me. That's the only way that you were ever going to be safe from me," Olivia said in a heartless voice.

"Thank you, Olivia. You just saved my life," Amaya said with gratitude as she slowly got back on her feet.

"I'd do anything for you, Mother. You know that," Olivia said with a smile filled with love.

"Yes, I know you would, dear," Amaya said with a wicked grin as she thought about just how surprised that Rose Tyler was going to be soon.

"Should I try to retrieve Erebus again now?" Olivia asked.

"Yes, it's time, Liv. It's finally time for me to return to power and rule over Time with an iron fist with my children by my side. Bring Erebus back to us and then together the three of us will make the High Council flee in terror from our wrath. This is the day that Gallifrey finally falls at last," Amaya said with a fanatical gleam in her eyes.

"I promise you that they will either serve us or be scattered to the temporal winds. Your will will be absolute throughout the universe," Olivia said with a twisted smile even as she began to concentrate on the task of freeing her brother once more.

The Eternal named Death now secretly smiled with glee as she watched all of this unfolding before her while completely invisible to both Amaya and Olivia. Now not only Hecuba but Jenny herself were both out of her way forever.

One Guardian down. Several more to go. With Jenny on the side of Amaya now though, she was fairly confident that other Guardians would soon fall before her in no time.

Amaya didn't know it but she was making Death's own plans far easier than she could have possibly imagined by her actions here today. Olivia was wrong however. In the end, it would not be Amaya whose dominion over this universe would be absolute.

It would be her own. Hers and her allies. And on that day with no left to protect them anymore, the Grace would finally fall at last.

Next: What do you think about the title Olivia Nox, Amaya's Angel? Nah! I don't like it either. It could actually wind up happening though if things don't change very soon. Will Olivia finally free Erebus? Will she actually help her new family take over Gallifrey and all of Time itself? Is the Jenny that we know truly gone for good? For that matter, will anyone be able to free Little Rose? You just know that Rose is definitely going to have something to say about this and I truly shudder at the thought of the now merciless Olivia taking on her real mother in battle. This fight is definitely not going to be good at all. Don't abandon all hope though. Perhaps there's one thing that Amaya still hasn't counted on yet that might still end up saving the day after all.
