A/N: Ya-HA! I am back! Once again I have picked up my writing techniqe and have decided that I must update all my stories, its my New Year's Resolution.

Now, on with the reading of this chapter...

Spencer offered to let Maeve stay at his house, and she agreed, feeling that it might be best since her appartment was most likely still trashed.

Spencer unlocked the door to his appartment. He had made Maeve sit in the wheelchair and let him push her after she had fallen down a few times. She wasn't too happy with be pushed around in a wheelchair, but if it made Spencer happy, she was happy. Spencer slowly pushed the wheelchair and Maeve through the open door before closing and locking it.

Maeve smiled and looked around, she noticed the large bookshelf and rolled herself over to it,"Wow...you have a lot of books." she admired them.

Spencer walked over and smiled, "Yeah...I have even more too, but they're packed away."

Maeve nodded and looked up at him.

"You hungry?" Spencer asked softly.

"Not really." Maeve said, still looking around

Spencer nodded, he felt a bit more uncomfortable then he thought he would. He knew he loved Maeve, but the circumstances were just so awful that it felt almost out of place for her to be in his appartment. He had been certain that he was going to lose her and now she was here, with him, in his appartment, talking about how many books he had.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" Spencer asked, he wanted to be able to do something that would make everything less tense.

Maeve smiled and nodded, "Sounds good to me."

Spencer helped her sit down on the couch before putting the movie in, then he sat next to her and wrapped his arms around her.

They both ended up falling asleep during the movie. Spencer woke up after a while and slowly began to get up, trying not to wake Maeve up, but it was too late. She had woken up.

"Sorry. I was trying to not wake you." Spencer said softly.

"Its okay." Maeve yawned after saying that.

Spencer nodded, "You hungry now?"

Maeve started to say somehting but then her stomach growled and she giggled

Spencer chuckled, "I'll take that as a yes." he smiled, "What would you like?"

Maeve shrugged, she wasn't sure what he had.

"I could make tomato soup." Spencer offered.

Maeve nodded, "Okay, if you don't mind."

"Not at all." Spencer said softly before he went to the kitchen and began making the tomato soup.

Maeve slowly looked around again, she stayed sitting on the couch though, just looking at things that she could see from where she was.

After lunch the two decided to play chess. Spencer was shocked when she beat him.

"How did...how did you beat me?" Spencer asked, trying to figure it out

Maeve giggled and looked at him

Spencer looked at her and smiled, "Good job." he said softly

"Oh...whatever, you let me win...didn't you?" Maeve asked, not believing that she won on her own.

"No...I didn't." Spencer shook his head, "You won all by yourself."

Maeve seemed shocked by that, "Wow..."

Sorry about the chapter being so short, I was intending on making it longer...but I was just having such trouble writing for some reason...maybe it's because I wrote this at 2 AM...
