PS. Check out my newest one-shot "What His Demon Wants". It only has not got 100 hits yet. It is a fun read if you happen to have the same kind of sense of humor as me. :D Give it a try if you have the time because it's short. Thanks.
LADY SILVERFOX : Thanks for the story theme. However, I can't think of anything to write with it yet. Your theme has a 50/50 chance to become a story, but I can't promise. There are a few themes from the stories themes that I have them started, but I could not finish them. Just couldn't write. Thank you for the review and the read. :D

"Would you like to come in?" Rin invited Sesshomaru. His fancy car parked in front of her apartment, dropping her of after the eventful dinner with his family. It was not the best idea to invite him in tonight giving that it was Wednesday and she had work due tomorrow afternoon. They both were young and active; it could take a long while before they would be ready for sleep. Rin often surrendered to exhaustion first and asked to rest. Sesshomaru, on the other hand, was a demon and demon require little to no sleep at night. Not to mention his stamina is endless.
Sesshomaru must have piles of works waiting for him at home too. They were both enjoyed the blissful moments they could share but they never let pleasure got in the way of their jobs. They were responsible adults. However, he had seemed reckless since the dinner and seemed to be in a bad mood still.
"I can give you a massage," she offered. She wanted to help him relaxed even if just for a little. It was not easy for her to read him at first, but after knowing him for over a year, she had come to understand him more. She knew something was bothering him. He hardly ever let anything get to him and always had everything under control.
Sesshomaru looked at the young woman who was still waiting for his answer. He could see she had no hidden motive, but he could not help thinking back to the last time she massaged him. She may not imply anything, but his impulsive mind was already there doing the things they did which were anything but innocent. His eyes darkened slightly at that thought and was grateful to the night for hiding his immoral eyes.
"Hn." He coolly accepted the invitation. He needed the distraction after Inuyasha opened his stupid mouth about Rin. It would keep irritate Sesshomaru and would not be a good idea to spent this long vexed night alone. Inuyasha would keep invading his mind making him want to kill the half-breed; there might be a corpse to be disposed in the morning. Rin was the best idea for the night.
The friends got out of the car and started toward her apartment.
"Stay away from Inuyasha." He stated coldly, out of the blue.
"What's with you and Inuyasha?" she commented, inserting the key into the keyhole and turned it to open the door. "I thought we were through with that topic." She pushed the door forward and walked inside. Sesshomaru followed after her as if it were the most natural thing to do.
"You are, but not him." he stated. His fury increased remembering the half-demon's declaration on pursuing Rin. Inuyasha would not heed to reasons or threats and that made Sesshomaru wanted the half-demon dead.
"If that is what's bothering you then you don't have to worry. Inuyasha and I have formed an understanding." She told him, turning on the lights. She dropped off her purse on the living room before walking into the kitchen, intending to get them some drinks. Just recalled the image of Inuyasha in utterly shocked, completely lost, and troubled with guilt made her smiled. His reaction was priceless especially when he realized everything was but an act.
"What kind of understanding?" Sesshomaru narrowed his eyes. Whatever it was, he doubted he would like it. He watched Rin opened the refrigerator. He did not miss the smile on her face when talking about his half-brother and that annoyed him.
"He promised he will never use a woman that way again." She told him, but left out the part of how she got Inuyasha to make the promise. "Is wine okay?" she asked, pulling the bottle out of the fridge. She had learned that the wine was one of Sesshomaru's few drinking choices and had brought some especially for him.
He nodded slightly for respond. She then waltzed toward one of the cabinets and pulled out two glasses.
"Never hook up with him." He warned coldly, hating the idea of Rin with Inuyasha. He was no longer concerned about Inuyasha using Rin. The half-demon had told him himself he would not do so anymore.
However, Inuyasha still refused to leave Rin alone. That idiot was such pain and a nuisance to think he had a chance with Rin. She was way out of his league. Sesshomaru would make sure to force that information into, and made sure it stayed, inside that stupid brain of his. He would not mind tearing Inuyasha's head off if all the methods fail to make him see reality.
Rin frowned as she poured down the wine. Why couldn't Sesshomaru trust her? "What's with you, Sesshomaru? I already told you that's not going to happen." She reminded him again, handing him one of the glasses.
"Make sure that it doesn't." He grasped her wrist instead of the drink, not too tight, but firm enough that she could not pull away. His eyes bored threateningly into hers. "If you ever do, I will kill you both." It was not a threat, she knew. He would really kill them had they ever crossed the line.
Instead of cowered away in fear, she brought her free hand to gently caress his cheek. Where did she get the courage from, she was not entirely sure. Had it been a year ago, she would have felt threatened seeing how intimating he looked. He could be very scary and could make the tallest man felt small. However, she felt no such thing now when it came to him. Her hazel eyes steadily held with his golden ones.
"And I am telling you again, it's impossible." She said calmly, making sure he got the message before her fingers pinched his cheek teasingly. She started to laugh at the sore expression in his beautiful golden eyes. His face remained stoic, but he was annoyed. His hand came to gently removed hers from his face.
"You really need that bath huh," she teased, shooting him a warm yet amused smile. He was more stressed out than she had thought.
The young woman started toward the bathroom to prepare them a bubble bath. He never bothered with such thing, but he did not mind when joining her.
She planned to light up some candles to make the room appeared more soothing. The comforting scents from the candles and soaps plus the warm water should help him relaxed while she gave him the massage. She was good with massage. If he felt relaxed enough, she might even get to wash his hair. She loved washing his beautiful long hair.
However, before she could completely walk past him, he grasped her wrist. She looked back just in time to find his lips coming for hers. He pushed her against the wall, ravishing her lips as if he had not been eaten for years.
The bath will have to wait, she chuckled inwardly, kissing him back with equal intensity. She knew exactly what he wanted and she wanted it too. He lifted her up, grasped her legs to wrap around his waist, his hands unzipping her dress. Her arms snaked around his neck, her fingers ran through his long tresses and caressed his sculpt. This felt like dejavu.
Four days ago after the date with Inuyasha, he dropped Rin off. She was having a good time. However, once she walked into her apartment she was surprised to see Sesshomaru there waiting. His expression was stoic, yet did not hide the fact that he was angry.
It was common for Rin or Sesshomaru to wait in one another's apartment. They had exchange keys after their first three months. It would not do to have to wait in front of the door and posted questions to the passerby. They did not wish to draw unwanted attention.
"Sesshomaru? You are a day early." She commented, smiling warmly at him after the initial surprised. She walked toward the dog demon. He sat elegantly on the couch as if it was a golden throne for a king.
He had been on a business trip and was scheduled to return tomorrow. It was a surprise to see him here. She did not know what had had ticked him off so badly, he rarely showed his angry side to her and it was never toward her. She hoped she could calm him down. Often than not, she was able to get rid of his irritation.
"Why did you not pick up your phone?" he asked coldly, his eyes scrutinized her as if she was a criminal under interrogation.
"You called?" she fished into her purse for the said cellphone. "Oh, it's out of battery." She showed him the black screen that refused to turn back on.
"Where have you been?" he questioned, still pissed off.
"Out for a ride."
"With Inuyasha," he spat hatefully, almost sounded disgusted even in his cold monotone voice.
"Yes." Rin continued to walk toward him. She noticed the tone he used, but did not drill into it. She was not surprised that he knew she had been with Inuyasha. He must have seen them through the windows when Inuyasha dropped her off.
"I told you to stay away from him." Elegantly, he stood; his tall frame towering over her shorter form. He was not happy.
"Yes. But you never told me why." She had been meaning to ask, but never got the chance to. She stood about two feet away from him.
"You need not to know. Just do as I say."
Rin frowned, did not like his attitude.
"How many times have you seen him behind my back?" He asked tonelessly, yet hatefully.
"I don't like the tone you are using, Sesshomaru. And this is the only time I have met with him." she told him, still tried to reason with him. She had never fight with Sesshomaru before and did want to start one now.
"And you expect me to believe that? You met with him while I was away when I specifically told you not to. His stanch is all over you." Sesshomaru's cold eyes pierced at her. "How far have you already gone with him?" he asked icily. To say that she was surprised was an understatement. "Had I not caught you today, you will keep me in the dark and keep seeing him behind my back!" His face was passive yet intimidating, and managed to look insulting at the same time.
"You are accusing me of being a liar and a loose woman?" she asked in disbelieved. She felt as if she had just been slapped. His silence confirmed for her that he believed what he had just said to be true. He turned coldly to the side.
She felt hurt that his trust in her was so little and his view of her was so low. 'How far have you already gone with him?' How could he ask her that question? Did he really think she'd separate her legs to just any man? Going out for a ride with Inuyasha did not mean she was riding Inuyasha! Sesshomaru had said he knew she was not that kind of a woman. She thought he understood her and respected her. She thought they were friends. He even introduced her to his family. But maybe she was the only one thinking that way. To him, she was just a convenient.
"Stay away from Inuyasha from now on." He commanded aloofly. His tone was absolute, leaving no room for argument.
"Tell me the reason, then." she demanded, barely contained in her anger. She was insulted and humiliated. Never in her life had anyone insulted her this way. And it was worst coming from someone she thought would always be on her side; someone whom would stand up for her even if the whole world were against her.
"Just do as I say." He ordered curtly. "And don't let me catch you with him again."
That was the last straw for her. Anger boiled within her, hot blood coursing through her veins, her heart thumped furiously inside her chest, her hands formed into tight fits.
"Who do you think you are to order me around?" she said in a dangerously low voice. She looked at the tall demon, her eyes ablaze with fury. His eyes narrowed at her for daring to challenge him.
"I don't need permission from you for whom I can associate with. You are neither my boyfriend nor my father. And even if you are, it doesn't give you the damn right to tell me what to do. I am more than capable of making my own decision!"
His eyes bled red, his jaw started to jag and extending out. It made him appeared animal-like, not to mention terrifying. He was extremely angry. But so was she.
"The reason I have been tolerated with your yelping this whole time is because I thought we were friends. Even if you see me as nothing more than just a loose woman to satisfy your needs, I respected you. I was trying to be reasoned with you. But if you want it that way, fine.
"I am not a lair, Sesshomaru. I have no reason to lie! I am not your girlfriend and have no need to sneak behind your back. I am not yours to control. I will not obey to your every whim without a question. If you want that, go find someone else. I am a free person and I can do as I please with my life. We have made that clear from beginning, in case you've forgotten!" she glared at him, challenged him to contradict with her. "And if I feel like it, I can sleep with this whole block and some more and you'll have no said in it!"
"You can sleep with whomever you want, but never with Inuyasha!"
"Why?" she wanted to know.
"He is my brother." He said in disgusted, as if someone was pulling out his teeth. "We do not share."
She could understand his reason to a certain level. She would not want to share a man with her sister either. Still, it did not excuse his attitude toward her or his insults. He had no right to sentenced her to the crime she had not committed. It was not okay for him to treat her like his subject and forced his decision on her on how to live her life.
"Even if you are his brother, you have no right to stop me from being friends with him."
He growled in frustration, but Rin would not back down. He knew he had no choice but to tell her if he wanted her to stay away from Inuyasha. Since when did she become so stubborn?! She had always been agreeable.
"He is using you!" he finally spat it out.
"He is a player?" she questioned. Inuyasha did not strike to her as the type, but she could be wrong.
"No." Inuyasha was clumsy when it came to women.
"Then how does plan to use me? And what for?" she asked. "It doesn't make any sense."
Sesshomaru sighed inwardly, wishing he could just kill her off or throw her to the wolf. In this case, to the dog, Inuyasha, and let him stamped on her fragile heart. But no, Sesshomaru just had to be uncharacteristic persistent trying to get her out of Inuyasha's evil plan.
"He is trying to use you against me." He gave in, revealed the piece of information he had tried hard to hide. He did not like anyone to know she held a place within him.
"But still, why? What is the reason? Why using me? Does he know about us?" There must be more to it. And how did Inuyasha plan to use her anyway?
"He targets you because you are my friend. He believes I stole his girlfriend in the past and intended to get close to you to irritate me."
"Did you? Steal his girlfriend?" Rin asked.
"No." He glared at her for even thinking he would stoop so low. He was Sesshomaru for crying out loud. Such immoral act was beneath him.
"Just making sure." She shrugged. "So that's his reason for getting close to me. It's make sense now." she mused.
He looked at her, surprised that she believed him and accepted the story so readily.
Understood his silent wondered, Rin elaborated. "I didn't understand why you kept on insisting I stayed clear of him. It was not like I would see him again after the party. So I found it strange when he came after me, just like you've said he would. He was pretty persistence too which made it even more suspicious. I was wondering what his motive could be. I know you told me to stay away from him for a reason was going to ask you why when you return tomorrow." She looked at him; all trace of her anger was gone.
He was surprised, to be honest, that someone as trusting as Rin was already suspicious of Inuyasha. Her intuition and her thinking process were sharper than he had given her credit for.
"Still, you should have told me what was going on instead of the simple 'stay away from him'." she continued. The mood between them had calm down and they were now having a discussion just like the friends they had always been. "I'd like to have a better understanding of the situation so I'm prepared and know how to handle it. You can't expect me to follow you blindly without any explanation. You won't do as I told you either if all I did was telling you to just do it. No explanation whatsoever" she reasoned.
His silence told her he got her point; he was very intelligent, though he would not follow anyone's orders. No one tells him what to do, but he kept that part to himself, for now.
"I tried to avoid Inuyasha like you've told me, but I couldn't find a good excuse to turn down his invitation without sounded rude. And I didn't want to be rude because all he had been to me was nice."
"He's not nice. His motive was impure." Sesshomaru stated curtly.
"I didn't know back then. That's why you've should told me what was going on." She countered.
"Now that you know, don't let him near you!"
"Is he always going after your friends to get at you?" Rin asked, sitting down on the cozy couch.
He looked at the girl who was waiting patiently for his answer. "No," he replied.
"Then why-" she started, but he interrupted her.
"There's no other friends." He stated evenly in a matter-of-fact tone.
"There's none?" she asked. It was hard to believe that Sesshomaru had no friends. He might be a little difficult to get thought at first, but he was a caring person once you got to know him. How could such a person had no friends?
"Friends are not necessary." He stated aloofly. He might need business partners, co-workers, and even allies at times, but he had no need for friends.
She was surprised with his answer. He always seemed cold, but she never imagined him to detach himself from everyone this much.
"But we are friends, right?" she wanted to confirm. At least to her, he was her friend.
He once again looked at the human girl. He had no problem telling her his mind had he deemed her unimportant, she knew that. He had never lied and saw no need to start now.
"Hn." He replied simply, confirming that they were indeed friends.
Rin's entire face lit up with happiness. It almost made him felt awkward and unsure how to handle the situation.
"Thanks." She murmured. "But, I must admit, Inuyasha is charming." Rin confessed.
Sesshomaru turned to glare at her. "Never get involves with Inuyasha." he warned again in a deadly tone.
"But what if he is sincere and if I happen like him too?" she ventured.
"You can be with anyone else, but him." he declared. "I will not share you with my brother." The idea of it disgusted him. He would not have Rin, the woman he knew so intimately well in every way, being with Inuyasha in the same way. Even more so if they ended up marrying one another and she became his sister-law. "I will kill you before that could happen."
Rin was taken aback at the spin chilling declaration and how far he would go to prevent them; but after a moment, she smiled.
"Lucky for us then," He looked at her questioningly and she continued, "Inuyasha is not my type."
But came to think of it, Sesshomaru was not her type either. Her type was the easy on the eye and loving kind of guy.
"Do you want a bath?" she asked and stood up. She wanted to feel relax after the intense fight and the bath was just what she needed. It had been a long hot day and she was sweaty from the rides. Sesshomaru did not answer. "I want one," she closed in the distance between them, reached a hand to touch his tone muscular chest, "You can join me if you want." She said suggestively. "I will wash your back and give you a massage." She smiled sweetly, yet managed to give him the seductive vibe.
His eyes immediately darkened, his body tensed in anticipation.
"You are in a good mood." He commented, his voice was slightly huskier than normal. Her mood had improved so drastically from before, "Why?" he asked.
"Because someone just admitted he cares about me." She smiled pleasantly at him again.
"I never said that." He stated aloofly.
"So you don't?" she asked, daring him to contradict it. She knew he cared and he could not deny that he did not. The reason he tried so hard to guard Inuyasha from her was partly to protect his procession, but also because Rin could get hurt. She and her human emotions could easily be wounded. He did not want Rin to be used and thrown away by anyone. The thought of Rin getting hurt somehow did not sit well with him.
She had grown on him. He did not like that fact, to be honest, giving that he never cared about any beings. He hated to have anything that could be used against him, like Rin now. However, he was not one to deny the truth or deny himself. He accepted it when he realized he cared about the human. He had always believed he was incapable of such emotion.
Rin was his friend. And a friend coming from him was a big deal. He never gave a damn about anyone. They could all go die for all he cared.
"See?" She smiled sweetly when he did not oppose to her statement. How could she not feel happy?
"And you are finally back after such a long week," she said trailing her hand down his chest, awakening many sensations, "I want you to have a good time."
And indeed, he was about to have a good time. He would make certain of it. His lips came down clashing against hers, lavishing her hungrily. Rin's lips responded to his with equal passion.
"No sleep tonight," he declared, holding her thin waist in his large hands, feeling her flesh.
She breathed hotly against his lips, pressing herself into his chest, "And tomorrow?" she whispered, kissing him again.
"Don't even think about it." And he meant every word. It was weekends. She had no excuse to deny him the pleasure. It had been a week since his departed. It had been far too long.
"Oh my," she breathed, nearly painted. She found herself being lifted in a pair of strong arms. "It's going to be my favorite night again," she giggled remembering all those steamy nights.
As a respond to that statement, he kissed her, carrying her toward their destination. The bedroom door slam shut behind them.

It took all the joys I have away when I'm done with the endless editing because I'm comply drained now. I almost stop editing it in the middle because my brain has turn to mush. Already, I'm done with my whining. Just need to get it out of my system. Until next time, take care. :D
