A/N: I know I'm sorry guys for not updating in the last months, but life gets hard sometimes, but anyway here's the next chapter I hope that you enjoy it.
Bella's POV
It's been three weeks, three fucking weeks since I had any contact with Alice. I've called and texted her since that horrible/wonderful night to no avail. I could understand missing a few calls or text messages but at this point the only explanation is that she's ignoring me. Up until her agent showed up we were having a wonderful time and that made it all the more painful.
I have tried to put Alice out of my mind by keeping myself busy. As a result I have become really close with Emmett and Rosalie. They help me forget the pain that Alice's actions are causing me almost on a daily bases. They are the only ones who seem to be able to help me forget, at least for a little while. The heartache always comes back.
I started spending time at Emmett's house just playing videogames and hanging out. Emmett's house is huge about the same size as Alice's parent's house with a completely decked out entertainment system including every game system on the market. Emmett and I play video games constantly but our favorite games include the entire Halo series and Mass Effect.
Yesterday Emmett and I were playing Halo at his house while Rosalie was reading a magazine and occasionally rolling her eyes at our admittedly pathetic trash talk.
"Hey Bella wanna come watch me beat New York's ass?" Emmett asked when we took a break for food. I just snorted as an answer which Emmett took as a yes if his happy dance is anything to go by. The memory made me chuckle a little. Emmett may be awesome on the field but his dancing leaves something to be desired.
Today it's just me and Rosalie at Emmett's place since he had to go to practice.
We were lounging around the living room and watching TV.
"So, what are you doing for summer vacation Bella?" Rosalie asked. She was lying across the couch curled up with a pillow and still managed to look beautiful and elegant in designer jeans and a cute red top. I felt positively frumpy in my ripped skinny jeans and T-shirt.
I shrugged "Not much really. Angela is letting me stay with her over the summer." I turned my attention back to the TV but I had trouble focusing on the sitcom that was on. Instead my thoughts went to what I wanted to do over the summer and with whom I wanted to do them with. Alice. I sighed no matter what I do to distract myself I can't seem to stop thinking about her. Unfortunately Rose heard it as well.
"Is everything alright Bella? She asked. Rosalie's voice startled me from my depressing thoughts of a summer without Alice. I turned my attention back to Rose and my heart warmed at bit when I saw her concerned expression. It made me feel better to know that at least one person cared about how I felt even if it wasn't the person I was longing for. I tried to smile at Rose but I don't think I was all that successful since the concern didn't leave her expression.
"I'm fine Rose." I replied. She merely raised her brow at me. I sighed once again and admitted.
"I'm confused and hurt that Alice has completely ignored me for the past three weeks. I just don't understand why? I mean did I do something wrong? I thought everything was going really well until her bastard of an Agent showed up and ruined it." I said frustrated. "All I know is that it has to do with some fan Alice was friends with at one time but they never gave me the whole story. Instead she just kicked me out." My shoulders slumped a bit at the dejection I was feeling.
Rosalie sat up in the couch and patted the seat next to her. I took the hint and rose from the arm chair I was setting in to sit beside her. Rosalie turned to face me and grabbed my hand giving it a comforting little squeeze as she did.
"I know Alice and I know for a fact that she didn't intend to hurt you." She started.
"It sure feels like it." I mumbled under my breath but apparently not quietly enough since she glared at me slightly for interrupting her. I smiled back at her sheepishly and motioned for her to continue. She squeezed my hand to let me know I was forgiven then continued.
"She has had bad experiences before when she's tried to become friends with a fan." I started to interrupt but Rose squeezed my hand in warning so instead I closed my mouth and listened.
"It is her story to tell so I'll leave it at that." Rosalie finished. I couldn't hide my disappointment from Rose. She put her arm around my shoulders and gave me a one armed hug.
"Hey don't worry about it. I'm sure she will tell you when she's ready." Rose smirked a little. "Especially after she tells that little prick she calls an agent to back off and shut up." Her statement surprised a giggle out of me.
"Now turn up the volume I like this episode." Rosalie stated referring to the episode playing on TV. I cuddled into Rose's side a little since she still had her arm around me and did as she asked.
A couple days later it was time for Emmett's big game against New York. I figured I may as well go since Emmett expected me to be there and I had nothing better to do.
I had just walked into the stadium when I was struck by the thought that Alice might come to the game as well. I thought about turning around and walking back out the way I'd come but scolded myself for the cowardly thought. Emmett and Rosalie are my friends I have just as much right to be here as she does. I continued walking and was bombarded by the noise and smells of the stadium. HMMMM… now I'm really craving a hot dog I thought as I walked by the concession stand. I patted my stomach absent mindedly. Maybe Later.
I looked out on the field and notice it was empty so that players must still be in the locker room. I turned my attention to the seat and looked for Rosalie. She told me she'd be in the section behind our team's bench. I scanned the crowd and spotted Rosalie just as she saw me and gave a little wave to draw my attention. To my relief and disappoint I didn't see Alice anywhere.
I moved along the rows and up the stairs to sit next to Rosalie. We greeted each other then I asked. "When does the game start?"
"In about fifteen minutes." Rose replied.
I sigh and looked around the stadium, and smiled disputed being sad on the inside. I mean it's not everyday that you're invited to see a football match by famous people who for some reason decided to be my friends.
"Uhm Rose?" I said when I finally decided to stop looking around.
"Yes, Bella?"
"Is Alice coming?" I said and looked down at the floor. I mean even though Im hurt that she chose her stupid manager over me I understand her. I mean maybe what happened in the past with that fan was really bad.
"I really don't know, I mean I told her and gave her the tickets, but maybe she's spending time with Chris or doing a photoshoot" Right, stupid Chris.
"Oh okay" I sigh not wanting to talk right now.
"Isabella is that you?" I heard I sweet voice said I looked up and saw one of the most beautiful hazel eyes (close to Alice eyes) and a flawless face. I burrow my brow trying to remember who she was. Suddenly realization hit me and I fainted.
Kristen was back.
