A/N Hey People of the HOA Fandom! What y'all up to? So basically, this is the second I have ever written, and I wrote it just for Peddie One-shot day. I was in tears when the broke up (Okay not literally, but I was close to) and I'm praying they will get back together.
It is based on a One Direction song, and even though I'm not a fan, I do like this song. I suggest you listen to the song before reading this just so the idea is in your head. I've put a link in my profile to the song on YouTube
So I should really stop talking….
Eddie watched slowly; his Anubis friends straighten their ties as they prepared to walk towards the staircase, the very one that helped several times in the terrifying mysteries. He made his way over to the smooth sofa, running his hands along the fine stitching. The past week, he had been sucked into several conversations involving his housemates, on how to ask their girlfriend to prom. This made Eddie feel worse than he already did about the upcoming dance, everyone had their girlfriend, apart from him.
The sound of footsteps making their way down the steps echoed through the hallway as the boys made their way to the bottom of the stairs. Each girl walked carefully down the stairs, each as beautiful as each other. They all joined dates as Patricia came rushing down the stairs, apologising to Amber who had been pestering her about being on time. A chorus of smiles flooded through each and every boys face as their dates leaned in to kiss their cheek. But to Eddie, all that was a blur.
His eyes widened as Patricia finished putting on her black heels. Eddie admired her curved figure that looked perfect in the royal blue dress that ended mid-thigh. Her red locks fell carefully on to her shoulders, each curl bouncing into place. She looked gorgeous.
Eddie could have been in the same position as his roommate, Patricia beside him; if they hadn't broken up that is. Memories flooded back to him as a frown appeared on his face. The moment she broke up with him echoed in his mind, the moment she broke his heart.
Eddie stood, frozen in his place in the busy airport. She had just broken up with him, after weeks of enjoying their alone time in America, just before leaving to catch her plane. Tears rushed down her face, tears that still made her look pretty.
After a long car journey he arrived at the front door of the family home belonging to his Mum. Slamming the door on the way in, his mum called out, letting him know that his best friend was here, wondering if he wanted to go somewhere.
"Hey Eddie! Let's go somewhere, you choose! Now that girlfriend of yours has gone home we can do whatever you want!" His best friend, Evan's voice echoed in the modern hallway.
"Just leave me alone okay!" Eddie retorted shoving him out the door.
"Dude, what the hell! Now Patricia's gone back we can go somewhere, do something and not have her trail behind"
"Don't talk about her like that" Eddie's voice was blunt and serious. The pieces fitted together in Evan's mind.
"Look I'm sorry man, she wasn't worth it" Evan offered support, however that didn't work
She was worth it. And Eddie told his friends that. He spent the rest of the summer thinking about her and what had happened. But he still couldn't bring himself to move on. Several times Eddie had tried to talk to Patricia, urging her to explain the break up, but no luck. There's got be some way to get her to want him like before, Cause no one ever looked so good in a dress and it hurts, 'cause he knows she won't be his tonight, no one ever makes Eddie feel like he does when she smiles
He turned around, calling her name. Her head flew up and Eddie stepped forward.
"Baby tell me how to make it right"
So, how'd y'all like it?
