Just a silly drabble. I don't own LBD or the characters. I know I'm not very good at this yet, but hopefully you enjoy it anyway.

Life-Sized

People were laughing and there was excited electricity in the air. She hummed happily to herself as she twirled the iron around the last straight strand of her hair.

There was an insistent knock at the door.

"You know there are OTHER people who want to use the bathroom!"

She laughed as she sprayed a layer of hairspray on her hair. "You can wait, Fitz."

Another knock, "Let me in there right now!"

She opened the door to see a very desperate looking Fitz. He glared at her. She simply gave him a friendly pat on the arm. "I thought you were supposed to be Mr. Cool today!"

"It's not every day that your freaking best friend gets married! I have to look my best!" With that, he had slammed to door behind himself.

She laughed as she spotted Bing who gestured to Darcy, who was staring at himself in the mirror. He was wearing a suit and he was studying the bow tie hanging in his hands.

"Is it just me or bowties kind of weird?" he questioned.

She shook her head and slipped the bowtie around his neck. "No, bowties are cool, remember?"

He gave her a smile telling her he caught the subtle nod to Doctor Who which Lizzie had introduced them to. But then he continued. "This isn't about bowties."

"I know, Will. You're nervous about Catherine."

"I can't believe she's coming. I invited her on a whim, but I never thought she'd actually come."

"Don't tell me that you're afraid that the wedding won't meet her ridiculous standards?" He nodded shamefully and Gigi scoffed. "Since when have you cared about what she thought? May I remind you that it was YOU that stood up to her? I thought you weren't going to let her stupid prejudices get in the way?"

His eyebrows knit together in a scowl. "You're misunderstanding me. I'm not saying that I condone her actions any more. She was wrong about Lizzie that much is for sure. However, she is our aunt. She's the only family we have left. I just don't think our parents would be pleased if I severed our family so completely. I have a chance to mend this. One misstep and everything could go horribly wrong."

"Will," Gigi whispered pressing her hand against his upper arm. "Our parents would be happy no matter what. You are getting married today."

There was a moment of silence.

"I'm supposed to be the responsible and level headed one."

"You are! Well, most of the time. Love is one way in which you are right to be a little reckless."

He finally smiled as he nodded and Gigi felt the tension in the room dissipate a little. There was a soft knock at the door. Pastor Elton peeked into the room. "Is the groom ready?"

The smile on his face turned into a grin. "I am."

Gigi pulled brother into a tight hug. A few tears escaping her eyes. "Good luck, big bro. You have waited a long time for this day and you deserve to enjoy it."

He leaned down and gave her a warm kiss on her cheek. "You are the best."

"You better bet I am."

Then he followed the pastor into the hall. Fitz came out of the bathroom, grinning.

"The lion and the eagle still a better love story then Twilight."

She nodded and took her friend's arm. "I couldn't have said it better."

As they walked into the hallway she couldn't help but feel proud. Today, her brother was more than a lion; he was more than her elder brother who she'd always looked up to.

Today he was majestic and magnificent. Today he was life-sized.
