There was only a few times we lost power in Game Central. But there was one time we lost power that was truely unforgettable for everyone. We had just got the game that replaced Turbo Time and Road Blasters.

My land, it was terrible! Everyone, even Mario, managed to make it and welcome the new guests to the game world. One of them was racing game; the other pacman. We all tried to forget about the "Incident of Turbo" but the feeling of regret and remorse was still there. But everyone continued to try to move on. We didn't even tell the newbies about it.

Everything was going great; it was more bright again due to the new chords though. A lot of people say that was a reason. I think there was a worse reason.

When the power turned off was quick and unexpected. Some screamed as others questioned. When we heard a loud voice assuring us it was okay and that the problem will be resolved soon. It was inturrupted by a laugh though.

The laugh was distant but so close. Once it quieted the crowd was hushed. It was so quiet, only whispers from inside the crowd. People were starting to complain.

If you were to look around, all you could see was black in front of you with only the few programs's neon lights that were accessories for the gamer which were slowly fading as all of us were.

As the main power source went out for all of us was slowling being drained. The darkness growing even more. But there was something in the crowd...it was fast and glitching almost. Some people saw it and commented; others gasped or complained that something had shoved or touched them.

There was a whisper that really stood out from the crowd for me though. It soon became all I could hear as it became louder.

I looked around completely terrified. It was closer, louder as the giltch-like figure came closer.

It was practically right in front of my now, the glitch. My breathing becoming uncontrollable in fright as adreneline kicked in. I could hear my heart beat faster and my breathing more heavy. I gulped as the voice disappeared again.

"T-Turbo?" I whispered shakily.

The lights flickered on just a slipt second then dark again.

Some people said they saw turbo then, it was too fast for me so I don't even remember.

Then the lights when on and I swear I felt a flash or breeze go by me; as if something or someone was there. I look quickly and helplessly around as my eyes sting from the sudden change in light. But there was. no. turbo.
