"You know, two years ago, I would have been spending my Saturday evening in a sitting room at Dalton with a good book and a mug of hot chocolate."
"That sounds as boring as…Fuck, I can't think of anything more boring."
"Considering we're in a tree, cocoa and even reading doesn't sound so bad," Sam muttered, earning a nod from Blaine and a put upon sigh from Puck.
"See, this is why you two need to get out more," Puck said, sounding like he pitied them. "I mean, awesome movie or not, how many times can you watch The Avengers?"
Blaine and Sam gaped at him in disbelief.
"So…you consider The Avengers less fun than hanging out in a 7-11, laughing at Freshmen who attempt to buy beer and trying to hit on the cashier?" Blaine asked slowly.
Sam squirmed on his branch. "How could you forget that was the store you tried to steal the ATM from? I thought that vein in the manager's forehead was going to explode when he saw you."
"The whole first semester of junior year is kind of a blur," Puck admitted, then hissed, "Shhhh!"
They froze, silent and still, as someone passed under the tree they had taken refuge in. The 7-11 manager was obviously holding a grudge. Even more obviously, he was holding a baseball bat.
After a few minutes, Blaine let out a relieved sigh. "Right. So, what's next on the agenda? Trading insults with that sketchy drug dealer by the overpass?"
"Ryerson? Hell no, he'd get way too creepy over you two."
Sam grinned. "Aw, you do care! Cow tipping, maybe?"
"Cow tipping? The fuck is that, you redneck?" Puck muttered. "See, this is why I had to pry you two away from Blaine's BluRay player. You can't even come up with interesting shit to get into. I thought gay dudes were at least supposed to be able to party. You guys are like an old married couple."
"And yet we're both getting laid on a regular basis," Blaine replied with a wink, which caused Sam to hold out his hand for a fist bump.
Puck scrunched up his face. "Dude! I don't need to hear that!"
Blaine smirked. Puck got them stuck on in a tree, he could deal with some teasing about their sex life. Hopefully, they'd be able to get down soon and go home.
Puck could follow, but he probably wouldn't want to see what Blaine and Sam were going to occupy the rest of their night with.
