Arizona sat nervously with her hands resting on the steering wheel. Her fingers tapped constantly on the leather. In the seat behind, her daughter was weirdly quiet as if she could tell something was wrong between her parents.

The passenger door suddenly opened, startling the surgeon who had been watching the entrance to Doctor Jacob's office and hadn't seen Callie. She turned to find her wife sat next to her and smiled.

"I didn't see you. Where were you?"

Callie lifted up a small bag

"Drugstore. Jacobs agreed with you." With a tight lipped smile.

Arizona leant forward and placed a chaste kiss on her lips.

"Mommy!" Sofia squealed from the backseat, apparently frustrated with not getting any attention up to now.

"Hey Mija." The brunette turned around whilst putting the medication in her bag. "Ready to go to the zoo?"

There was an eruption of excitement from the little girl which caused Callie to turn back to her wife with a raised eyebrow.

"I didn't tell her in case you weren't up to it after your appointment."

She couldn't stop herself from smiling and connecting their lips in a slightly less chaste way than before.

"ZOO!" Their daughter interrupted them and Callie pulled back.

"Yeah Momma, ZOO!" She mimicked.

"Don't encourage her." Arizona laughed as she turned on the engine.

After sharing a picnic, the two women had settled down on a bench to watch Sofia play on the jungle gym. An alarm buzzed on Callie's phone and she took the bag of pills out, removed a box and took one with some water. Before she could put them back, Arizona asked if she could see them.

"Sometimes I forget I'm married to a doctor." The brunette muttered as she handed over the two boxes.

"These are antidepressants and anti-anxiety meds." Arizona stated. As she gave them back she watched her partner simply nod, her eyes fixed on Sofia who was running around ten feet away. "This is what Jacobs thinks you need?"

Callie made eye contact. "It was a mutual decision."

It was Arizona's turn to nod.

Again their three year old interrupted them as she launched herself onto Callie's lap, surprising them both.

"Careful baby girl." The surgeon scolded as she ran her hand through soft brown curls. "You could have hurt Mommy."

"Sorry." She immediately said, looking up at Callie with sad brown eyes.

"It's okay." She promised, kissing the girl's forehead. "Just slow down a bit, okay?"

Sofia nodded as she leant against her mother's chest. Callie just smiled over her head at her wife.

The calmness lasted all of two minutes before their daughter's head shot up.

"Can we have ice cream?"

"What do you say Sofia?" The brunette prompted.

"Please?" Her head moved to look at both of them back and forth. "Please Momma?" She finally fixed on Arizona.

Seeing Callie nod behind her and pull a pout comically matched by the girl in her lap, the blonde couldn't say no.

"Thank you." Sofia responded with the widest smile and climbed down but held Arizona's hand, waiting for her mothers to stand.

"You can deal with her when she's hyper." Arizona whispered in her wife's ear as she got off of the bench.

"Fine, but you can deal with her when she's sticky." Callie whispered back once she'd stood up too.

Callie's solution to her overly excited child was to give her a bath before bed. It did eventually work but not until a lot of splashing had taken place. Arizona stood in the doorway and surveyed the scene.

"How's your plan working out?" She smiled as she leaned against the doorframe.

Her partner turned around from where she was knelt by the tub, her shirt drenched and practically see-through.

"Brilliantly." She insisted before turning back to the girl. "You ready to come out now?"

The girl yawned.

"Sof, did you like the elephants at the zoo?" Arizona suddenly asked, a safe enough distance from the splash zone.

Their daughter's eyes went wide and without warning, she lifted her arm out of the water and pretended it was a trunk, spraying bath water everywhere.

"Okay." Callie picked up the girl and placed her on the mat, wrapping a towel around her. She could hear the other woman laughing behind her and turned around with a steely gaze. "Trying to calm her down darling."

The blonde stopped laughing immediately. Once Sofia was in her pyjamas she told her to go find a story for Mommy to read to her. As she went to leave the bathroom, Arizona grabbed her wife's arm to stop her.

"I know you already had a shower," She ignored the glare Callie shot her, "but how about you and me have a bath?"

Callie had to admit that it was hard to resist the smile that was playing on the surgeon's lips but she was unsure. She had been struggling with intimacy since Miami. Arizona's eyes suddenly changed to show her that her lover knew that. She was trying to help. Other than her appointment, her whole day with her family had made her feel like her normal self and she'd never turn down such an offer.

She finally nodded.

When did bathing with the love of her life become a hard choice?

"Okay." She nodded again.

The smile and kiss she got in return were almost enough to knock her over.

"I'll go say goodnight to our baby girl and then run it whilst you read to her, yeah?"

A final nod.

A final smile.

A final kiss.

She watched the blonde walk down the hall and felt her phone buzz again.

She had to take one final pill for that day.

Leaning her had back against inflatable pillow on the side of the bathtub and feeling her body relax into the warm water, Callie watched the other woman untie the knot that was keeping her robe on. The silk fell from her pale shoulders and the garment landed on the floor. She reached he hand out to guide the woman into the tub.

"Careful." She whispered.

"I know Calliope, I've been pregnant before remember." Arizona rolled her eyes as she relaxed against hr wife's body, her head also on the pillow over Callie's right shoulder.

"I remember." She replied before kissing her cheek and placing her hand on Arizona's stomach. "But I forgot how much more beautiful it makes you."

"I'll remind you of that when I'm the size of a house. Right now, I'm hardly showing. We're not even at the point of telling people." The surgeon smiled as she turned to kiss her partner.

"You're always beautiful." The brunette smiled back.

The two of them settled into comfortable silence, enjoying the feeling of being so close.

Callie wasn't finding it difficult as focused on her wife's breathing, slow and strong.

"Amber knows doesn't she?" Arizona suddenly spoke.

"What?" Her throat felt dry, unsure to what Arizona was referring.

"She knows I'm pregnant, doesn't she?"

"Oh, how did you find out?"

"When I had to call her the other night, when you walked out," She began rubbing circle on the skin inside Callie's knees, "she told me not to worry. That it was bad for the two of us. She didn't mean me and you did she? She meant me and the baby?"

"I didn't tell her. I swear." Callie started kissing up and down the blonde's neck.

"I didn't think you had, she knows us pretty well at this point." She turned again so they could kiss each other. She slipped her tongue in her lover's mouth and heard a moan in response.

The brunette's hand slowly moved down between the other woman's legs but it was stopped and Arizona entwined their fingers, bringing it out of the water. Pulling away from the kiss she moved her mouth to Callie's ear.

"I wanna go down on you so much Calliope."
