We'll find strength in pain.

Epilogue

The morning did come. And though at that point it seemed to Violet like nothing would make life worth living, she did get to have a full, happy life. She travelled all around the world and made friends and became a top class photographer. Her first exhibit was titled ''The Asylum'' and her central piece was the portrait of a young, handsome boy whose name she never revealed.

She never settled into a house that she could call her own and she never got to have a daughter. But it didn't matter, she was content.

She was over eighty years old when she died. And as exciting as her life had been, her death wasn't. She just went to sleep…

When she woke up she found herself lying in a field of chrysanthemums. She could hear people laughing and shouting from a distance. She sat up to see what was going on. Somewhere further away Kai and Angelique were chasing each other. When Violet called for them, they stopped and turned to look at her. They waved, smiling and then ran away, disappearing into a forest.

-''I've been waiting for you…'' came a voice from behind her. Her heart started to race. His voice had never stopped resounding in her head.

Tate came to sit next to her.

-''Sorry I was late.'' She simply said, putting her head on his shoulder.

-''Don't be sorry. You did well. You made me proud.''

-''I just wish…''

-''What?''

-''I just wish we had a chance to do it all over. To do it together.''

-''We could.''

-'' How?''

-''We throw ourselves back to earth and we bring everything upside down until we find each other.''

-''What if we can't…''

-''We try again.''

That's what they did. Tate and Violet were brave enough souls to fight for their happy ending and they had experienced enough pain to not be disheartened by one failure.

It took them more than one life to finally find each other.

Sometimes they would end up in different sides of the planet. Violet would hear a song or read a book that would bring tears in her eyes and she wouldn't know it was her soulmate reaching out for her. Sometimes they would pass each other on the sidewalk and they wouldn't notice one another, but they would both feel their hearts clenching in sudden, unreasonable longing.

But the day would come that they would see each other again. Their souls would recognize each other instantly and they would revel being near each other once more. They would cling to each other so tight that nothing and no one could tear them apart.

''every day I will wait - till youre mine again
I will die every day - till youre mine again
theres no words to explain - no beginning and no end
I will dream, I will pray - youll be mine again'' (Mine Again-Black lab)
