A/N: Hey guys! Sorry for the really really late update, this will most likely happen more often, but here's the new chapter, and I hope you guys enjoy it! Feedback will be lovely!

Also, I will be referring Tsuna as Giotto's grandson, because it's too tiring to say "four times great grandson" okay? Cool. On with the story!

Disclaimer: Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Is not mine, all rights go to Amano Akira.

Summary: Semi-AU. Tsuna is not Vongola Decimo, but Vongola Primo says otherwise. He and the rest of the first generation trains Tsuna to take his rightful place as Vongola Decimo, and to find his guardians.

"That boy…" a fair woman muttered as she glanced at the kitchen clock. "Tsu-kun! Wake up! You'll be late for school!" Nana Sawada nee Itou, or nowadays, known as Nana Itou, hummed patiently as she waited for the predictable-

"HIEEEE! I'M LATE FOR SCHOOL!" –shriek. Nana giggled softly as she listened to her son do his daily scrambling, flipping an egg and putting on toast, knowing her son won't have time to sit down and eat. Unbeknownst to her, another person was watching Nana's dear son. Sitting on a chair near the dinner table, a blond man with blue eyes, in a pinstriped suit, was happily drinking a cup of coffee. His image faded and flickering, the cup imitating his actions. Who is he you ask? He is-was a man, and known as Primo, first boss of the world-known mafia group, the Vongola. However, he is now a ghost.

Giotto laughed softly at hearing his four greats' grandson's shriek. Ah, he'll never change. Giotto thought fondly. He certainly hasn't changed since the last ten years I've been with him. Even on the day I first met him… recalling the memory, Giotto chuckled.

Flashback Ten Years Ago…

Little five years old Tsuna watched with saddened eyes at the scene in front of him. He silently watched his mother break down through a small crack to his mother's bedroom door. He felt despair, he could do nothing to help his mother, could not reassure her, only listen to her broken cries.

"W-Why d-did you l-leave me?" Nana sobbed, clutching a picture in her hands. Tsuna could see that it was his mother's wedding picture, and felt something he could not identify lurk in his chest. Tsuna sighed, and quietly tiptoed back up into his room. He flopped himself onto his bed, and closed his eyes, thinking about his mother's grief and his inability to help his mommy.

Giotto watched with sad eyes at the experience his grandson was dealing with. Giotto sighed softly, coming to a decision to explain everything to his grandson; his grandson has suffered enough. He quickly materializes himself, and glides towards Tsuna. He leans very closely, until they were face-to-face, and gently prods him.

"Tsuna~ Wake up~" Giotto stares as Tsuna mumbles something incoherently, rolls over a little, and starts to snore softly. Giotto's vein popped (A/N Alert!). He then starts to poke Tsuna harshly, unrelenting, until Tsuna started to wake up from the pain.

"Wh-Wha?" Tsuna mumbles, blearily opening his eyes once his eye focused, he blinked as he stared straight at two bright blue orbs. He froze as said bright blue orbs blinked curiously at him. Tsuna shrieked and fell off his bed unceremoniously, landing hard on his butt.

"Ow…" Tsuna muttered as he fully regained his senses through pain.

"Tsuna?" said person freezes, and starts to silently hyperventilate.

Huh, is it nighttime? I'm seeing stars… and before Tsuna fainted, he vaguely heard a faint 'No Tsuna! Don't faint!'

Giotto groaned at the misfortune that befell upon him. Now what was he going to do?! Who knows how long it could take for Tsuna to wake up! Giotto facepalmed.

Ugh, why me?

"Tsuna? Tsuuuna? Are you awake yet?" Giotto whispers, softly poking his four times great grandson's cheek. Tsuna's face scrunched up, and he mumbled, turning his back to Giotto.

Giotto gushed at what he just saw.

"Aw~ such a cute boy, yes you are!" Giotto cooed. "Hah~ I can't wait to see you when you're older, you'll take after your grandfather, I tell ya!" he sighed happily. He kneeled over his grandson, relishing the moment when-

"Hahaha! I never knew Giotto was grandfather material!" Giotto froze, and started to panic.

Oh God, please don't let it be them, it's not them, it's not them, IT'S NOT THEM- alas, Giotto was cuffed at the back of his head. His hope shattered. Giotto nervously glanced upwards, and paled. What greeted his sight was a man with red, pink? hair, red eyes, and a tattoo of a flame running down his right cheek, going until his collarbone. This is Giotto's right-hand man, and storm guardian.

"A-Ah, G-G, what b-brings you h-here?" Giotto stuttered. He paled even further as he saw a vein pop on G's temple.

G took a very deep breath, and then-

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, 'WHAT BRINGS US HERE'?! WHAT THE F*CK ARE YOU DOING, IDIOTA! MIO DIO! WHY I OUGHTA-!" G was cut off by Giotto's shushing.

"Shush G, Tsuna's sleeping!" if possible, another vein just popped. G's face grew malicious.

"WHO F*CKING CARES IF YOU'RE GRANDSON'S SLEEPING! I'D LIKE TO KNOW WHAT THE H*LL WE'RE DOING ON THIS FREAKING PLACE! WE DIED! OUR BODIES SHOULD HAVE TURNED TO F*CKING BONES! BUT NO! YOU SH*TTY BOSS JUST HAD TO GO DO SOMETHING-!" G immediately quieted down as soon as he heard a grumble, and a yawn.

"Hah~" Tsuna slowly rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. He blearily stared at the blurred figures in front, and blinked several times. Once he got his sight into focus, he stared at the seven shimmering figures standing around him. Tsuna's eyes bulged out.

"HI-!" Tsuna froze at the sound of a gun cocking.

"Don't you dare scream, brat." G threatened. Giotto rushed to Tsuna, who was starting to whimper in fear, unshed tears gathering in his eyes.

"G!" Giotto scolded, "Don't scare Tsuna, you don't know how scary you are, that's why all the kids always ran away from you!" G's eye twitched, and before any comment could be made, a Japanese man stepped up.

"Maa maa~ G, you should really calm down here, remember, there's a child in the room!" this man that tried to calm G down is called Asari, Giotto's rain guardian. G's eye twitched violently, before he took a deep breath, and released it as he lowered his gun. Asari punched his palm, coming to a realization.

"Ah! Either way, wouldn't G's gun, not have worked, because we're all dead, and so the gun also won't work, 'cause it's basically a ghost gun? Wouldn't it just go fweee! And then scwhoop! Right through his head?" all the others stared at Asari.

"Agh! Why do we even need to take care of this brat? Why are we even here? Ore-sama was having such a nice time doing nothing…" another man said. This man looked to be the youngest of them all, and had a lighting mark underneath his right eye, and his left always seemed closed. He is Lampo, Giotto's lightning guardian, and a crybaby.

"Nufufufu~, well well well, what a joyful reunion, no?" in a flash, all weapons were pointed at the voice. The man raised his hands in the air. This man with a melon-shaped hair, is Daemon, Giotto's mist guardian.

"What the f*ck are you doing here, Daemon?" G snarled, eyeing Daemon wearily. Daemon shrugged.

"Well, I suppose I'm dead, because I'm here with you guys-"

"That's not what I meant." Giotto sighed.

"Daemon, please just answer the question, we don't want to scare Tsunayoshi over he- wait! Where did he go?!"

"Mio Dio Giotto! You lost a child?!"

"W-well, it's not my fault! You guys were fighting!" Giotto whined.

"Hn, erbivoro, here's the little animal." A white blonde man in a trench coat then proceeded to dump Tsuna onto his bed.

"Oh, good job Alaude." Giotto sighed with relief. Said man is Giotto's cloud guardian. Giotto cleared his throat, and turned to face Daemon.

"Now Daemon, an explanation?" Daemon huffed and crossed his arms.

"Well, obviously I died, and since I'm a guardian, and the entire Primo generation was called, I'm here now. Surprise!" G growled, as Giotto rubbed his forehead.

"That's it? You're not going to apologize for ruining Giotto's wish for Vongola?" Daemon shrugged again.

"Why should I? It's not like you can kill me, I'm dead." G's eyebrow twitched, his mouth opening-

"A-anou, what's the Bongola?" Giotto looks down to see Tsuna staring up at him expectantly. Giotto smiles, then pauses.

Crap.

"Are? Jii-chan? Are you okay?" Giotto choked as the others sniggered quietly. He puffs up his chest.

"You can call me nii-chan! But don't ever call me Jii-chan, ever!" but Tsuna only stared at him.

"Jii-chan, what's the B-Vongola?" he asked again. Giotto looked at the others for help, but they all pointedly ignored him. Giotto sighed.

"Well Tsuna, do you know what your dad does for his job?" Tsuna nodded, "Yep! He even sends pictures of the places he goes to! He's a constru-construction worker!" he took off towards his bed drawer. Everyone watched as Tsuna shuffled through his things, and came back with a picture clutched in his hand.

"Look! There's penguins, Jii-chan! Penguins!" the Primo famiglia looked at each other in confusion, penguins?

Tsuna timidly showed Giotto the picture. His guardians surrounded him, looking over his shoulder in curiosity. What they all saw made them blanch. They slowly glanced at each other, Alaude with an eyebrow raised.

Penguins. Everyone thought in disbelief. Penguins… "The hell?" G muttered. Giotto turned to Tsuna.

"Ts-Tsuna?" he asked.

"Hmm?" Tsuna smiled.

"You do realize where this place is, right?" he nodded.

"Yep! It's Alaska." Giotto sweatdropped.

"You know Alaska's cold, right?" Tsuna nodded, "You know it's practically only ice there, right?", Tsuna nodded again. Giotto released a suffering sigh. "This is going to take a while…"

"Tsuna, let me tell you that your dad is in the mafia." "Mafia, what's that Jii-san?" everyone sniggered in the background.

"The mafia is underground. It has several secret organizations that are either big or small. Your father works in the biggest one. It's called Vongola. My friends", he said gesturing behind him, "and I were the ones who created this group."

Tsuna was confused. "But why did you? Were you a criminal then?" Giotto bitterly chuckled. "No, we created that group to protect the innocents from the mafia. But in the end, the Vongola was pulled in the underground world. It is now the most powerful, richest, and bloodiest family." Tsuna gasped.

"Papa works for that family?!" Giotto nodded. "Why?"

"Apparently, your father is my great-great-great grandson, so, he has Vongola- my blood. So, it's natural he was pulled in. However, he is not boss of the family. He is boss of the CEDEF, which is a branch, created by Alaude." Giotto answered, pointing to Alaude. Tsuna gulped.

That man was glaring at him! Tsuna was shaking an earthquake under Alaude's glare. Giotto chuckled. He had also reacted in a similar way when he first saw and met Alaude. He cleared his throat. "So, Tsuna, did you know that you have Vongola blood?"

Back to the present

Giotto sighed as he took a sip of his ghostly tea. No, he did not regret telling Tsuna the real reasons why his father never came home, and he had an inkling… no, Giotto shook his head.

It's not possible after all. Giotto thought sadly, Vongola will never get the leader it needs. A determined gleam entered his eyes, But no matter! I WILL make sure that Tsuna becomes the tenth Vongola boss! No matter what!

"-iotto! GIOTTO! Capo stupid! Tsuna's already gone! Don't you want to after him?!" G shouted, shaking with impatience. Giotto's eyes widened.

"NOOOO! TSUNA! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!" Giotto shouted, as he quickly disappeared, intent on catching Tsuna.
