Chapter 5 "Shirogane Ren"

First P.O.V

The sound of hard metal met rough surface reached my ears.

"I know you're there."

As soon as those words left its owner mouth, my body instantly froze at the same time. My head suddenly spin as I felt the urge to vomit increase as second passed.

'Oh my god... What should I do!?'

I felt sweats that formed unknowingly on my forehead began to trickle slowly down to my cheeks, –so slowly as if it's scared to make unwanted noise.

"Show yourself."

Staring at my shakily wet hands (and grimacing at how badly they actually trembling), I gulped unconsciously.

'Wait... Calm down. Breath…,' I thought as I exhaled slowly while trying to calmed my uncontrollably shaking hands.

'Okay, there's no turn back now. Face it! That's the only thing you can do…' was my last thought as my feet brought me to stepped out from my "hiding" place, leaving me face to face with a bunch of teenagers…and a gleaming thing.

Wait.

Is that… a scissor I'm seeing? Uh, well, it does look like one.

…but somehow, this one looks more incisive than the usual.

"Who are you?"

…Okay, scratch that. I have one thing I can do, which by the way, can't do anymore.

Run.

Oh, Lord above… Why didn't You send me that idea earlier!?

End of First P.O.V

[***]

"Who are you?" Akashi coldly asked.

The unknown teen didn't answer nor moving from his spot. His face covered with the bang of his silvery white hair in which made the Generation of Miracles can't see the face of the person that stood in front of them.

And as if there was an invisible thread tied them all, all of them have one same thought. Someone needs to get closer.

"Oi, Kise," Aomine whispered lowly. "That people definitely look suspicious. Don't you think we should—"

By the time Aomine turn to his right, expecting to see a blonde-haired lad pay attention to him, all he found was nothing but an empty air.

"…huh?"

Glanced all around, he finally found where his blonde friend is.

The blonde was standing straight in the back, eight feet away from him… along with his other teammates, even Kuroko. That so-called partner of him now was standing right beside their silent captain.

Aomine was speechless. This is only mean one thing.

"…you guys sure are bastards."

"You're welcome, Aominecchi!" Kise replied from the back.

"Dammit!" Aomine cursed.

Sure it was worldwide knowledge that he was the ace of these amazing teammates called Generation of Miracles, indeed. But that doesn't mean he was the ace for everything, right?

Snapped back to reality, he realized that standing there while doing nothing was just won't solve any problem he had.

Aomine then walked forward to approaching the young man, slowly but surely. Gulped slightly, Aomine observed the teen intently.

Aomine noted that the teen actually had a silver hair instead of white. It's slightly shorter in the back and slightly longer in the front. His bangs that covered his face made Aomine tch-ed inwardly as he can't see anything behind them. The teen's height was on his shoulder and he has a pale skin and was slightly thin. All-in-all, he just looked like an average teenage student.

…too bad, Aomine knew better.

'Don't judge people from his appearance.' Aomine may be the least person to be expected to follow such wise words, but that doesn't mean he won't try.

Petite body, odd silver hair (Aomine bet his eyes color), thick gray sweater in a summer day; the stranger definitely look like someone helpless and an easy target to pick up. But who knows if he has a split, yandere, psycho personality? Hah! Aomine wouldn't surprise anymore. Because of what? Because, he already met one in his life.

Shrugging the thought away, Aomine went back to his problem. "Oi," he said while getting ready to attack if the person in front of him showed any suspicious movements.

Again, the young man didn't answer. His face was still facing downward and still didn't move at all.

The tanned teen then decided to wait a little longer until the person in front of him mutter something, or at least moving slightly. He peered at his back to see his friends. The dark-haired lad saw his captain crossed his arms on his chest while raising an eyebrow. Nodding slightly at the underlying meaning, Aomine faced the stranger back, observing him more before decide to make a move.

However, after waiting more than fifteen minutes without any slightest change, Aomine have had enough.

"OI!" Without any hint of hesitation, Aomine shouted angrily at the silver-haired teen. This actually enough to make his friends who stood not too far from him, startled. Come on, they were keeping an eye at the unknown teen with a high alert on the surroundings if there was anything suspicious. Aomine who suddenly shouted out of blue was obviously makes their heart beat faster than usual. Well, except their red-haired captain of course.

A slight twitch from the unknown young man's finger wasn't unnoticed by the heterochromatic eyes that belong to the one and only Akashi Seijurou. The latter narrowed his eyes as he muttered, "Hm." Although it sounded like a whisper, it could be heard by those around him. Understood at the implied message from the captain, they are all wary of the stranger, especially Aomine.

'Finally! Some move!' Smirked inwardly, Aomine prepared to attack if the person in front of him charging to attack.

"I..." whispered the young man in front of them. Hearing the slightest whispers from him making them increased their heightened security respectively.

"… I..." The stranger was mumbling again, louder than the last one. With that, Aomine was ready to attack at any moment.

"I AM SORRY!" The young man shouted as he raised his face, staring at the stunned GoM who were surprised to hear what the stranger had said to them just now.

'Did he said, 'I'm sorry'?' They thought in unison.

Aomine stared dumbly at the young man before him.

WHAT THE HELL?!

The teen's big silver eyes that were showing now were adorned by the tears that could be rivaled to the flow of rushing river.

Aomine was in dilemma.

Really, if this was a joke, this sure was the worst joke ever! What the hell with this guy? Suddenly popping out after everything they-he-had gone through of the whole day, in here just for apologizing about something they-he-even didn't know what's that about?! Oho, you had messed with the wrong person, dude. Aomine was not in the mood right now.

"HAH!? WHAT THE F***?! DON'T BULLSHITTING ME!" Aomine shouted RIGHT in front of the teen's face.

There, the breath-taking pause was taking its moment. There wasn't any movements nor sounds from both sides. Everyone was too shocked, whether it was because the sudden act of a stranger or because Aomine has just cursing in front of them–to be exact, a certain (not so) innocent phantom player–out loud.

Okay, scratch that. Anyway, everyone was keeping an eye of the stranger movements, especially Aomine (again). He suddenly turned into "serious" mode all of a sudden, and his teammates–being in the same team with the tanned for almost two years now–instantly knew that.

'What's with him? Does he plan something? Why he suddenly…stop moving? Is he... frozen? No. He must be planning to run away. Hmph. Sorry, but I won't let you do so!' Aomine thought as he narrowed his eyes. Without wasting any more time, he charged forward, closer, closer to the stranger as the said person still frozen in his place, that—

Before suddenly, the young unknown teen collapsed in which made Aomine has to stop in track, hardly, (really, it was a time like this which Aomine actually thanked the God for his inhuman agility) as he stared unbelievably at the unconscious teen.

Without being told, our probably–soon–became–a–doctor Midorima, stepped in for checking the stranger whether he still alive or...die. The other just walked closer, fell in line with Aomine, gaze did not leave the scene. After thirty seconds of silences or so, Midorima nudged his glasses before muttering flatly. "He is fainted."

With that, no one said a word as the Generation of Miracles stare dumbfounded at the unconscious silver-haired stranger.

[***]

Splash!

The cold sensation immediately entered his sense before something liquid wetting his body, or face in this case. Slowly, he opened his eyes only to close it again because of the pain that caused by sting of light that directly entered his eyes that were just having a long stay in pitch darkness.

After sensing that his eyes could adapt to the light, the owner once again opened them. However, instead of a bright light that greeted him, he found himself stared at a rainbow. Yeah, rainbow. But strangely, this rainbow was not the one he used to see when the rain had stopped.

These one is look like an object, looked suspiciously similar to a hair for exactly. Yes, a human's hair that one.

Lowering his gaze, he was staring at the owners of the every color of the rainbow.

"GYAAAAAAAAAA!" A very unmanly scream were echoed throughout the building which happened to be the sports gym.

The noise maker was now in one of the many corners in the building. The rainbow people began to walk toward him. The maker immediately retreat to get away from the rainbow only to discover that his back was pressed by something which apparently was the building's wall. He immediately looking for some ways out and found one of them. Without further ado, he's positioned himself to run towards the exit door, but unfortunately, something as hard as steel prevented him in doing so.

Thrown aback, he immediately balance his body while staring at the cause of his stumble back, deciding that he would force to push whatever it out.

Only to find himself staring at a giant with a glare that was given to him. Also, it turned out that the giant was the owner of purple color of the rainbow group.

In which made everything worse.

Oh, no.

Shaking uncontrollably, the seemingly intimidated victim finally realized that he has been surrounded by the rainbow group. Raised both of his hands above, he managed to blocking the stare that the rainbow people given to him.

Realizing the silence that surround him, slowly but surely, the frightened teen lowered his hands and opened his eyes very slowly. He then found himself staring at a pair of stunningly sky-blue eyes which stared back at him.

"Hello," come a greeting from the owner of the eyes.

"He–hello," he replied with a slight of hesitation.

"My name is Kuroko Tetsuya. If you don't mind, may I know yours?" asked the blue-haired teen gently.

Feeling there was nothing to worry about, the young man who had been frightened but now seemed to calm a bit, replied albeit stuttered, "M–my name is Re–Ren... Shi–Shirogane Ren."

[***]

Silence burst out around that colorful group. None of those people spoke after Kuroko managed to convince the silver-haired boy named Shirogane Ren that there was nothing to fear about and that they were just wanted to ask something to the young man.

Akashi, who had been silently studying the atmosphere, decided to take it over.

"Well..." He began and almost instantly he found all the attention placed upon him. He can't help but smirked inwardly at this. "Could you give an explanation about your rude behavior early toward us, Shirogane Ren?" Akashi asked without looking at the asked young man, knowing for sure if he did that, it would have frightened the teen again, or in worst case, fainted. Again.

Not receiving any answer, the scarlet-haired captain continued, "You have been spying on us for a while, no?" he asked as he stared at the now wide-eyes silver-haired teen.

The latter seemed tense at the gaze, he was shrieking quietly before answering the question, "Ho–how... How do you...know?" he asked suspiciously yet hesitantly.

"Who knows? Lucky guess, maybe?" Akashi replied calmly as he unwittingly showed his famous smirk. "Why don't you just answer my question, Ren?" Akashi asked again without further ado.

Shirogane stunned at the way Akashi called his given name without hesitation. Shirogane made a mental note. 'He is dangerous.'

Sensing the scarlet-haired boy waiting for an answer, which seemed his impatient growing as second tickled by, Shirogane started to talk, "Umm… Be–before I do that, wo… would you mind introduce yo–yourself fi–first?" he managed to ask despite stuttered.

Seeing the captain didn't look like mind it, Kuroko began taking a part in the conversation, "Mine is Kuroko Tetsuya as you already know."

Shirogane paused, stared silently at the young man beside him before screamed, "Si...since w–when...?" He said as he let his mouth hanging open.

"…I'm here since the start, Shirogane-kun," said the light blue-haired teen flatly, looking unaffected by Shirogane's behavior early.

Shirogane wondered why he wasn't aware of the bluenette's presences. Come on, he was sitting next to him. RIGHT next to him! He swears to the god that he just saw the blue-haired teen standing across him, in a quite wide space if he may say! Honestly, this was the first time he met someone who had awfully lack of presences.

With that, Shirogane then added another name in his 'list of dangerous people'.

"Pa…pardon me... Ku–kuroko-san," he apologized earnestly, realizing what he had done was just so rude.

"It's okay. I'm used to it," Kuroko replied with the matter–of–factly yet gentle tone.

Silence corrupting the atmosphere again before a blonde-haired teenager decided to broke it. "Hmmm~ So it's Shirogane-kun, eh? Well, hello there! My name is Kise Ryouta~ I'm a model and a famous basketball player, nice to me––" before he could finish his sentence, a navy blue-haired teen hit his back head.

"Ouch! What was that for, Aomine-cchi?!" Asked –or more likely shouted– Kise to the certain tanned teenager.

"Repairing your overly narcissistic nerves, idiot!" Aomine said as he shouted back to Kise.

Realizing the heavy atmosphere around him, Shirogane trying to say something, which was a failure since the only thing that came out was murmur, "Uh... a-ano..."

"Please behave, Aomine-kun," Kuroko told the navy haired-teen while smacked the said teen in the head.

"OUCH! Dammit! That's hurt, Tetsu!" Aomine said as he rubbed his head. The glare from the phantom player was enough to shut his mouth instantly. It was a time like this Aomine didn't have any gut to retort his 'shadow'. Kuroko in a bad mood was scarier than the usual Akashi with scissor in hand.

"Tch. It's Aomine Daiki." The tanned teen introduced while grunted.

Coughing slightly to get the other's attention, Midorima adjusted his glasses before said, "Name is Midorima Shintarou. …And I'm a Cancer, so if you have an unmatched zodiac with mine then—"

"Okay, okay, we get it! Now, Murasakibara-cchi's turn~" Kise suddenly cut in as he ignored the glare from a certain green-haired lad.

"…Murasakibara Atsushi," he said quietly before turned to look at Akashi. "Nee, Aka-chin, I'm hungry~" he whined slightly as he touch his stomach.

"We will drop by at the convenience store later, Atsushi. Just hold on for a little longer, would you?" Akashi said. Eyes still glued to the newcomer teenager.

"Mm, if Aka-chin said so," Murasakibara quietly said. Though to be honest, the purple haired teen was slightly disappointed at the answer but since the one who give him the order was Akashi, he couldn't just ignore it.

Akashi silently watched Murasakibara from the corner of his sharp-eyes. He knew the teen was disappointed but didn't say a word. Not to mention the teen itself didn't voice it out too so, Akashi just shrugged it away. What was important is the person they just had learned as Shirogane Ren. No more, no less.

"And lastly, it's Akashi Seijūrō. My bad for the late introduction," the red-haired teen said as he glanced back at the latecomer.

Ren was shivering, literally. He really didn't like the way Akashi stare him with those heterochromatic eyes of him. And the way he used that I–know–everything tone. 'For that thing to happen to this kind of people…' Ren thought ironically as he knitted his eyebrows in wary.

"N–Nice to m–meet…you."

"Well then, since the official introduction has ended…" Akashi abruptly continued, making the silver-haired teen quietly gasped in shock. "...why don't you just answer my question now, Shirogane Ren?"

[***]

The silence was forcefully back again. The atmosphere around them was heavy, too heavy for the silver-haired teen to handle. Though, he actually, no, often handled some kind of heavy atmospheres but THIS one was different from any one he ever handled before.

Feeling the hard stares he was receiving, the latecomer teenager became more and more uncomfortable with everything. But he know, he still have to tell them. After all…

He was involved since the very first beginning.

"Uhm, well… I…" Ren began. Well, tried to actually. Oh, he really want to dig a hole now and actually buried himself in there. Why can't he form any word? If just to form a word he couldn't do, then how could he explain things? So many things in fact!

"Just cut that stuttering, will ya?! It's getting on my nerves! Say something clear!" Aomine, became the usual jerk, impatient, unable to read mood and situation he was, shouted at the poor silver-haired teenager who's being on the verge of having another fainted.

Seeing the teen was frightened of his 'light', Kuroko sighed silently before muttered, "I really am sorry for Aomine-kun's bad manner, Shirogane-kun. Please, don't mind him. Ignore him would be better," Kuroko said innocently.

The said teen only mumbled something grudgingly, while the one being calmed was only nodded his head nervously.

"Then, would you mind begin now, Shirogane-kun?"

First P.O.V

"…and that's how it is," I said as I ended my explanation. I try to make it simpler so that it's easier for them to absorb and understand it.

…but I doubt they will.

As I expected, the room once again filled with unnerving silence as I just sit quietly there, examining each of their reactions.

'They might think I'm a poor insane teenager who just escaped from a mental asylum… And one of them probably already thought of calling the hospital, told them that they found one of their escaped patients, who they already searched everywhere but never crossed their mind that the person they have been searching for was in a middle school from all place? And not to mention, it's not just any middle school. It's one of the best and the famous among them all.'

Yeah, I know this sound illogical and ridiculous, but this is the truth. And I already told them all.

'…I hope at least they will just consider it.'

"Wait—" I heard someone–the navy-haired one to be exact, started.

'Okay, here we go…'

"…did you mean that stupid mineral water that we accidentally shared each other is actually not just water mineral but some crazy experiments?"

"Yes," I answer while nodding.

"And that overly damn heated was its side effect?!"

"…yes."

"And you said that we were just drinking those thing–that–could–be–some–poison right this morning?!"

"Ye–yes. But I'm as–assuring you that i–it's not poisoned!" Opposite from my statement, my voice sounds pathetically shivered and not convincing enough for my own liking. How can it be convincing when it stuttered here and there!? It even sounded like a whisper, a murmur. But then again, it's not my fault! His voice just kept rising at every question he asked.

…and his creepy devil-looking tanned face surely wasn't helping at all.

"…then, is there any other side effects aside those ones from last morning? You said that this is an experiment right? What experiment for?"

I'm stunned. Really. To think that questions would came out from mouth of a person such as him.

No, don't get it wrong. It's not like I underestimate him. It's just that, his face is not quite…convincing enough for such this matter.

"Does that mean we somehow kind of have some special power now? Like you know, the power to lift things up?—"

huh?

"Well…"

"Oh, oh! Or a power to read other people minds!?—"

"…yeah, you see—"

What's going on?

"—you know, like what esper can do?! Or maybe, a power to be…invisible! Transparent! Like that girl on "The Incredible"! Yeah, that would be awesome too!—"

"…"

"—oh wait! That kiddo power is also cool! Just look how fast he could run!? Man! If I got that power, certainly, no one could defeat m––Hey! What's with those stares huh, four-eyes!?"

I heard the tanned teenager kept rambling and rambling, which I admit truly, most of them just fly away before my ears could progress them. I only heard words "we", "power", "have", "awesome" and "cool stuff". Other than that, it was goes like "bla bla bla, and…bla". I just sighed, inwardly of course. I didn't have any guts to do so in front of this creepy huge person.

Speaking of huge, that purple-haired one is also huge. I found it just hard for my eyes to slightly miss his presence.

'Pfft, what am I talking about? That person isn't just huge . . . . He's freaking huge! I mean look at how tall and big he is! Probably more than two m tall (?). He totally looked like a giant with that huge body! Well… except because of that slanty bored-looking eyes, he looked more like a lazy giant to me—a huge lazy one to be exact. I know, I kept repeating words "huge" several times already. But I can't help it! They just…ugh! Are you sure they really are middle school-ers!? I mean look! Except those two dangerous-looking red-haired and light blue-haired teenagers, the other was just huge! Too huge if I may say! No matter how many times I look at them, I just can't believe it. Seriously, what were this people ate?! …Or is it because they…playing basketball?—that they became this taller? …yup. That's must be it. It must be because they playing basketball that they could gro—'

My random thoughts were interrupted when I heard a sentence that doesn't belong to the tanned teenager "rambles".

"What do you mean?"

'Oh, it's the green-haired with glasses.'

"Don't you 'what–do–you–mean' me! I know you are mocking me! What?! Gotta problem with something, four-eyes?!"

"Hmph. Not really. I just amazed that you truly watched 'The Incredible'."

"We–well, it's my sister who watched it and ye–yeah, she kinda forced me to…So wh–what?! Is it wrong if I watched that!? For your information, it's a good movie!"

"I know… I just can't believe the fact that 'you' watched it." I saw the green-haired lad adjusting his glasses with his left hand in a manner which somehow intentionally made in purpose for pissing the tanned teenager, which is come out as a success.

'Oh, so he's left-handed...'

"What the—!? What did you mean by that?! You—" The tanned teenager replied back by shouting (I think it might be his habit) and just about to retort back when I heard someone coughing slightly. Oh. It's the red-haired one.

"…"

'…looks like I'm not the only one who think that red-haired is the most dangerous one. Maybe he's like the one who's in charge here?'

Coughing slightly, I saw the green haired snorted before saying. "As expected from 'Ahomine'."

'Oh, it's still continue...'

The one being insulted only glared at the glasses teenager as he grudgingly mumbling something.

"…besides, you got high imagination there. There's no way that dream of yours will come true," he added.

"Umm…" Before I could control my own action, I heard myself mumbled as all the pairs of eyes stares at my direction. Darn my habit!

"Is there something you want to say?" the green-haired lad asked me with a slightly disturbed tone. I shuddered inwardly before replied, "W-well… according to the data, some–something like that most likely to be ha—happened. So…" I quieted as I left the last statement hanged.

"'that'?" I heard the blonde haired lad asked. I nodded before said, "'that' is what the navy-haired lad over there—," I said while stared at the mentioned lad, "—have guessed. The "power"-y thing."

Silence.

This is it. I unconsciously said the most complicated facts, at least for me, which probably cost my life to the five teenagers who un-purposely became the subjects of me.

'Oh, God. Please help me…"

End of First P.O.V

[***]

The silence that surround them is bearable as each of them swimming on their thought.

A man with silver hair seems fidget on his seat though as he keep thinking negatively at how the other occupies will take what he has explained a little while ago. He knows very well, that sane people would label it impossible, even if that was the truth. And even if he were modified the story just a little, he couldn't think it will be more acceptable than the original one.

Honestly, he can't thinking other better way to explain this thing to them.

Whatever that, he just need them to believe him. But he knew; it would surely need more effort than he thought. But the good news is, he was much more adaptable on never-give-up-on-something-situation and quietly stubborn as his profession kept the nature to be one of the successful factor on his side.

Putting his fist on his lap silently, he felt afraid-less as he prepare himself for whatever reaction they would eventually give him.

Whatever they are, bring them on!

The red haired one—Akashi is it?—suddenly stared pointedly at him (His build-self bravery not so long ago, suddenly flew out in a matter of second as the gaze just landed on him. God, the stare was too much! Spare me please!) And said, "What is your connection in this then? Telling something that can be easily deemed as false, made-up story without prove is unacceptable, don't you think?" Ren blinked, and suddenly the air around him shifted as his face lose its hesitation and seriousness took in, which certainly caught everyone's attention.

The silver haired opened his mouth, "Indeed. I explain them to you since I am the one who made and study it."

Kise blinked, wide-eyed. "You...made it?" And the silverette nodded.

The blonde flabbergasted, "But aren't you still in high school?" Ren blinked before giving a sheepish, yet troubled smile. "Uh... I already passed 3 years ago..."

Now, it was Aomine's turn to gaped. "WHAT?! 3 years ago? Wait, wait, wait, and just wait! How old exactly are you again?"

Ren frowned, "Uhh... 15?" he said rather like questioned himself as he was not so sure about it himself. Is it really 15 or 16?

Anyway, the navy haired teen suddenly pointed him, making all his thought vanished instantly, "Holy moly shit! Younger just one year and yet you've already in college?!"

"That's..." Ren begin before gulped, "—just about right." he finished lamely.

Midorima who silently watched finally took his opportunity. "What does the imply mean?"

The silverette shifted on his seat, all of this questions are something that making him felt just… uncomfortable. "Well... I am not in college..." Just Aomine was about open his mouth, the former added, "—anymore." And that, successfully shut his mouth.

Midorima pushed his glasses up. "Not in college anymore?"

Then Ren nodded. "Yes. I am finished it a year and half ago."

Before anyone registered the full information, Akashi spoke up again, "What are you doing after that?"

Ren then gazed down, staring completely at the suddenly appealing ground. "I took my PhD seven months ago and has been study this particular research since then. I just finally finished it when someone suddenly broke into my lab and stole it, but fortunately the data is safe since I always carry it with me. But even so, it's still..."

"Well so," Midorima began, earning him the white hair's attention. "—basically, what we've drank is that stolen potion of yours that has not yet to be claimed save for humanity?"

Ren quietly, mutely nodded before added, "B-but I am sure that it isn't dangerous!"

Midorima stared blankly, face devoid any emotion and eye-glasses gleaming. "How much percentage of that "sure" of yours is?"

Ren blinked, "Uh...85 percent?"

"There are still 15 percent for the worst to come."

"Right." Ren unwillingly agreed.

And then the silence took the moment again. "Sorry, but there is something that bugging me for a while now." That particular question brought everyone to stare at their smallest member (A/N: I am so sorry Tetsu-chan but no offence since it's the truth. Blame your owner for deciding your height. Then again, its suited you best ;D) as he stood up.

"What is it, Kurokocchi?" Kise asked the Phantom as the person himself walking toward the bench.

"It's about this morning. Actually, there—"

"OH! RIGHT!" Aomine suddenly burst out, cutting Kuroko instantly.

The others attention diverted to the Ace team as he stood up. "Yeah! This morning is a pain!"

Ren looked confused. "Excuse me?" he managed to mutter without stuttering. That's an achievement for him. Nice. Well anyway, he still didn't get the point.

Feeling that he should explain it, Aomine tried. "Well, how do I explain this. Argh, the point is I am burned this morning."

"You... burned?" Ren asked cautiously. 'That's...a way to explain things.' his inner side point out but he prefer to not say anything.

"Yeah! It's one hell of a burned!"

"Uhuh..." he said in agreement tone and then stared at the teen for a while before quietly asking, "So... sun-bathing?"

Aomine stared incredulously at him. "Who said sun-bathing, hah?! I said, I am burned. Burned!"

Ren began to get nervous, "B—but, you said that… Uh, burned by su-sun, is it not?"

While tugging his glasses, Midorima quietly said, "Actually, what he means by burned, it's literally."

Ren eyes widened. "He is burned... literally?"

The green-haired teen nodded. "Yes."

Kise, who has been the audience, butting in. "That's right. As for me, I got electricity around. It's kinda cool but creepy! Because of that, I have to miss my photo-shoots. Oh right! My manager will surely kill me for this!" And so Kise wailed in his own world of imagination while Ren process the information.

The silver-haired then turned to Midorima. "What about you?"

The latter darkly replied, "I suddenly can hear other's people minds and it's annoying at least." The air around seemingly agree with the statement as it followed the spokesman's mood.

The silver-haired teen then glanced at the other two.

"I believe nothing unusual happened on both of us," Akashi said, knowing perfectly that the other would be questioned the same thing.

Ren brought his hand under his chin, eyebrows knitted in thought. "Weird," he muttered.

Kise confused. "Weird?"

The questioned teen, nodded. "Yes. As I believe, the four of you might be experience the side effect. But, if what you said about drinking my potion is true then—" he glanced at Akashi and Murasakibara. "—the two of you were supposed to have side-effect too," he added.

The silence erupted them before Midorima asked, "Well then?"

Ren sighed the nodded before staring at six of them. "I need to run a blood-test and collect the data to make a conclusion, therefore…"

"Would you mind to come with me to my lab?"

[#To be continue]"Would you mind to come with me to my lab?"

A/N: Welp. Err, halu? ^^;;
