Ha! just under 3 months! Owzat that for an update time!?

Although considering the chapter contents i shouldn't be so smug :P

Not a lot to say with this chapter really other than the fact its an 'Episode Chapter' so nothing major plot/character development-wise here sorry but i wanted to get up something for you pretty quick and I've been wanting to have a swing at this one for a while.

The next chapter i write will most likely be for 'Brighter Pastures' so apologies if theirs a long wait but by now all the loose ends are nearly tied up in a neat little bundle here and i don't want to get to the point where i'm flogging a dead horse story wise so keep an eye out cause theirs a finale on the horizon somewhere... second i can think of one.

Maybe not the most triumphant chapter to kick off the new decade but look at it like this... you didn't have to wait a year for it this time!

Until then, relax and enjoy...

It was evening time and a clear moonlit sky dotted with stars shone over the city and sparkled down.

Of course no one saw any of this thanks the giant beams of concentrated light being shone from the ground.

Crowds gathered all around a brightly lit building, two huge spotlights stood at the buildings corners and shone upwards showing off the building and making sure people miles away could spot it.

I'm not sure why spotlights are needed at these events but its L.A.

And as always celebrity reporter Mary Hartless was there with the media coverage, she quickly primed herself and checked her hair as her cameraman checked the links and cables hooked up to his camera, he gave a quick thumbs up and Mary quickly checked herself once more, cleared her throat and stood ready, the camera man showed her 3 fingers.

Then 2.

Then 1.

Then pointed at her to cue her as a light on his camera blinked on showing red.

They were live.

''Greetings from Impetigo's!'' she said.

I swear I'm not making that name up.

''Where all the stars have turned up for the celebrity gala of the year!'' she said gesturing to the restaurant.

the crowd cheered as they flashed signs and waved to the camera as limo's pulled up disgorging there celebrity cargos before zooming off into the car park, Mary walked briskly over giving the celebrities a polite wave as she approached.

''Lets see who's here!'' she said smiling to the camera and approaching the entrance.

Inside the room was brightly lit, waiters each in spotless tuxedos hurrying around making sure there special guests were satisfied.

Round tables covered in white covers dotted the restaurant; each one had a cluster of celebrity guests all enjoying the gala and involved in conversation or doing some odd activity, Cher and Jack Nicholson sat at a table with Cher adding an ungodly amount of sugar to her tea and Jack Nicholson...

Being Jack Nicholson.

Kirk Douglas was trying to figure why a large ham had been placed at his table...

No-one had the heart to tell him.

Michael Richards felt like he was having an out of body experience sat between Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep but couldn't figure out why.

Michael Keaton and Arsenio Hall reminisced about there forays into stardom with their stand-up routines at the Improv.

And for some reason someone decided to let Clint Eastwood on the grill.

But then again you don't say 'no' to Clint Eastwood.

Not even if you feel lucky.

Punk.

Morgan Freeman was having a fair try though.

''You gonna blast this one like you blasted all these others before?'' he asked monotone as he held aloft a large steak.

''I ain't the way I was before'' growled Eastwood as Freeman put the steak on the grill, Eastwood pumped the bellows and ignited the flame.

Then he kept pumping.

And pumping.

And pumping.

His eyes bulged and the veins on his head pulsed dangerously as he watched the steak frazzled and writhe on the grill until it withered away and dispersed with a puff of smoke, fading into nothingness with a last faint aroma of burnt meat.

Mr Freeman just watched him deadpan as he breathed heavily and calmed down,

''That was a practice one'' he said.

not too far away from them sat Tom Selleck who had the unfortunate luck of being sat with Marlon Brando, to many that may feel like a good thing I'm sure but unfortunately Mr Brando was waffling on about a historical figure that after certain events Mr Selleck would sooner forget.

''Columbus understood that the world wasn't flat like this'' said Mr Brando picking up a pizza.

It disappeared down his mouth in less time that it takes to blink.

Mr Selleck was a bit taken aback by that and that takes some doing.

''Or this'' continued Mr Brando performing the same trick with a pie, ''or this'' this time jamming a large fork into a rack of ribs before it too disappeared down his gullet.

''Au contraire, Columbus knew the earth was round, like this'' he said spearing a cantaloupe this time with his fork and munching it down it two bites.

A waiter walked over pushing a small silver trolley lined with various deserts and stopped beside their table, ''would you care for any dessert sir?'' he asked politely.

Mr Brando observed the tray for a second before swiftly scooping up its entire contents into his arms.

''Oh, this will do for a beginning'' he said.

Unfortunately his chair and floor both agreed that he'd had enough, and promptly gave way beneath him letting him plummet into the restaurants basement as the waiter and Mr Selleck peered down after him.

Mary strolled by with her trusty mic smiling for the camera and choosing to ignore what had happened behind her, ''you just never know who will turn up at a star stuffed shin-dig like this one!'' she pronounced as she walked by the buffet table and further into the restaurant.

So she didn't see a gloved hand attached to a jet black arm reached up from under the beige tablecloth and peer around with its fore-finger extended in the guise of a periscope.

it pinged a sound of a sonar scanner as it peered slowly round the room for a moment before looking back at the table it had just emerged from underneath.

Where a plate of cheese balls lay.

it double take'd and pinged excitedly before ditching its periscope ruse and grabbing a handful from the plate before zipping back underneath just in time before Mary double backed passing by again as she went to interview an attendee, as she left the tablecloth parted and four figures peered out with a smile watching her leave.

''Yep! you never know who'll turn up!'' said Yakko as he lowered the tablecloth back down and turned back to his 3 charges, who were sat around a few plates and glasses they had managed to pilfer off a few tables earlier, their eldest deposited the cheese balls he'd just swiped onto a large plate in the middle as Wakko scooped up the old ones and gulped them down in one go.

''Especially uninvited'' he said.

Lucy peered around where they were sat, it was a sense of giddy yet guilty joy sneaking in here but she'd grown accustomed to it in the months she had been with the Warners, she carefully plucked a single cheese ball off the plate and popped it in her mouth alongside Dot and Wakko.

Wakko decided one wasn't enough, and tipped the plate into his mouth, Lucy had to admit they were very more-ish but was a tiny bit miffed he'd eaten them all and crossed her arms.

''These cheese balls are deeeelicious!'' he proclaimed before eating the plate,

Lucy & Dot had already known that.

Dot picked up her plate and made a sad face at her eldest, ''please sir'' she said in a Victorian accent, ''may I have some more?''

Yakko grabbed a cane and hat from no-where and put on a stern face, ''moooore?!'' he exclaimed in a mock Victorian accent before smiling and tossing them aside.

''say no more sister sibling'' he said lifting the tablecloth and stepping out into the open, Lucy peered out of the opening before it shut at the celebrities that were dotted all around, she was able to name a few but wasn't all that familiar with the world of 'showbiz', but she still felt rather star struck.

''Could ya' not eat them all this time Wakko?'' said Dot pointedly crossing her arms, ''There are other's under this table y'know!''

Wakko thought, ''well I can get them back if you really wa-''

Both Lucy and Dot jumped up and shook their heads, Dot scrunched her eyes shut and Lucy stuck her tongue out in disgust, she was exaggerating her disgust a little of course but had learnt that you had to do that to fit in with toons.

''no-no-no-no!'' said Dot, ''this is a kid's flick ya know!''

Lucy knew what line Yakko would deliver if he had been there.

Wakko looked up, ''what's taking so long''

He had a point, they were sat under the buffet table and knew for a fact that the cheese ball tray was right above them; Yakko shouldn't have to do more than jump up and swipe a handful before he was seen.

Curiously Lucy lowered her head so she could see between the gap between the hem of the table cloth and the floor, she could see Yakko's feet standing by the table,

And a second pair of feet.

Of course she couldn't recognise who it was just by that, Yakko's were very obvious but you can't tell who a normal person was just by glancing at their feet.

And if you can I advise seeing someone.

She pointed this out and the two Warners she was left with peered under the cloth as well but daren't risk lifting it without their elder there with them.

''Gee Yakko could ya hang around much longer?'' quipped Dot sarcastically,

''Maybe he's talking with someone'' offered Wakko.

Lucy pulled out a sheet of paper with a picture on it, something she was much better at lately, the picture was of a lady's silhouette.

A curvy lady's silhouette.

Dot noticed and rolled her eyes before nodding, ''yeah that'd keep him''

Wakko had an altogether different response to the photo and began panting like a lap dog.

Dot and Lucy exchanged a glance, no words were said but they both knew they were thinking the same thing.

Suddenly there was a clang as something metallic fell to the floor besides them making them glance in curiosity but Yakko still didn't appear.

''What's going on?'' asked Wakko tilting his head in confusion, Lucy shrugged.

Suddenly Yakko re-appeared lifting the tablecloth, he had an odd smile and an arm stretched out behind him.

''What took ya so long? Is Michelle Pfeiffer out there?'' questioned Dot

Yakko shook his head ''Never mind there's a person out here ya gotta meet!''

''Mel Gibson?'' asked Dot hopefully.

''Ehhhhhhhhhhh close!'' said Yakko before grabbing dots arm and zipping out from under the table with her letting the cloth drop back down.

Lucy and Wakko blinked, now down to two.

''He forgot the cheese balls'' said Wakko.

Lucy rolled her eyes but smiled, she peered under again and saw Yakko dart away, Dot was still there but again she couldn't see much of what was happening other than by what feet were outside, the other pair hadn't moved from there spot but now dots was in there place, curious she tilted her head and tried to hear what was going on.

''What can you hear?'' asked Wakko.

Before Lucy could fathom how to sign out a reply the cloth lifted and Dots hand zipped in and grabbed her by the turtleneck before yanking her out from under the table, she blinked in shock as she was suddenly face to face with a rather portly man in a red jumper and blue blazer, and somehow she was shaking hands with him.

''Lucy meet Pip bye!'' Dot rushed out before darting off in a cloud of dust.

Lucy blinked again and looked at the man named 'Pip'.

''Charmed to meet you'' he said in a very deadpan voice, ''another great hobby I know of is knitting, my mother used to knit in fact she made me this sweater I'm wearing which is red which is not my favourite colour but oh well, I prefer mauve or mustard yellow-''

Oh no.

She remembered this episode at last.

And considering her lack of vocal skill she couldn't help but feel Dot had just pulled a very dirty trick.

Pip droned on oblivious to the wince on her face from when she realised the situation, and the even bigger one she got when she realised her hand was tightly ensnared in Pips own which seemed to have hardened like a rock around her own hand.

She looked around for an escape but saw none, she was stuck there and in a very awkward position with no verbal means of escape, but the more Pip waffled on about cheese balls, baloney and the colour red she got the feeling verbal tactics wouldn't work anyway.

She tried wriggling her hand out of her glove but it wouldn't budge, she racked her brain trying to think of some toon trick to get out of it then focused hard.

She pulled a small oil can out of her hammer space and poured a few drops onto pips hand who seemed completely oblivious to what she was doing wrapped up in his own world.

''-red is good for ties as a standard but for sweaters I prefer a more neutral colour-''

Lucy pulled hard but the oil did nothing, she couldn't pry her hand out of Pips own, all she succeeded in doing was slipping on the oil that had dripped onto the floor and landing hard on her rump.

Pip didn't seem to notice or care.

She sat deflated on the floor and sighed, what to do now?

Then she spotted Wakko still under the table.

She winced, should she really do what she was thinking about doing? Was it worth it? She tuned into pips ongoing monologue for a moment,

''-but when I relax I don't care what I wear, long pants, short pants, t-shirts, formal attire-''

She'd make it up to Wakko later.

She stretched her arm out slowly to the point where she could duck under the cloth and Wakko looked up from where he was eating another plate, Lucy noticed at least two less than last time she was there.

''Where is everyone?'' he asked.

Lucy smiled in a way she thought was genuine (or at least looked it) and gestured with her free hand to come up.

''Who is it? Don Knots?'' he asked excitedly.

She wavered her free hand in a 'kinda' motion and gestured again, Wakko followed quickly and she moved aside as he stood up, as quick as Dot had done Lucy made a silent introduction and held up a sign.

'Meet Wakko'.

It would have been better if the letter 'a' hadn't been in reverse but it was still legible.

Pip released her hand and went to shake Wakko's who automatically put his hand up to receive, Pip closed his hand around Wakko's.

And it was done.

''Charmed I'm sure'' said Pip breaking his monologue for a moment before continuing on without a single pause.

She side stepped away and as Wakko looked back at her she gave an apologetic look before scampering off round the buffet table out of sight.

She remembered they weren't invited to this whole gala so hurried behind a pillar backing a wall out of sight and tried to spot Yakko and Dot who had run off somewhere else but couldn't see them where she was, she'd have to move again.

She thought on her feet about some of the tricks Yakko had taught her to avoid getting spotted which was handy for running around the studio, the waiter was returning back with the desert cart after having it refilled.

He was also making a large circle around where Mr Brando was sat after having been recovered from the basement.

It was rather cliché but any ride in a gale.

the waiter had his nose turned up like do for some reason so didn't notice that as his cart passed by the support pillar there was a small purple blur that disappeared under the tablecloth the cart was wearing.

Nor that it had gotten a tiny bit heavier.

Lucy stifled a giggle feeling that sensation of guilty glee again, hiding and sneaking around in such a star spangled event was amazing, she peered under the table cloth lifting it up as little as possible to look around outside, she was wheeled past a number of celebrities until she finally saw the two of them beside the door looking as if they were waiting,

the cart finally stopped at a table and as the waiter offered the sweets to the couple dining there she rushed out as daintily as she could from under the carts cover to under the tables tablecloth, just in time as the couple dining there declined anything sweet for the moment and he wheeled off with it.

It few hops between table to table but Lucy finally got to by the door where she quickly scurried over, she gave Dot a look as she arrived, she shrugged modestly.

''Had to be done'' she said.

Lucy would have been more peeved, but considering the situation she'd left Wakko in she couldn't say much...

You know what I meant.

They looked over at the buffet table and saw Wakko standing on top hoovering up the snacks and sundry's with a vacuum attachment attached to his gag-bag.

And apparently also an actress's hair while he was at it.

So apparently they didn't need to sneak around anymore.

And pip was still talking.

Wakko had gotten his grip free somehow and when the waiter asked him if he wanted a doggy bag he presented the waiter with an actual doggy.

The waiter seemed elated and quickly walked away with his new pet.

Wakko then turned to Pip with a rather unamused look and said two words that they were still able to pick up.

''Go away''.

Pip didn't.

Wakko hurried off and ran towards them unfortunately causing Pip to follow, Wakko reached the three and hid behind Yakko.

''This man is scaring me'' he said plainly.

That was definitely a shared feeling among the quartet.

And he was still talking.

Yakko took the initiative, ''can't say it hasn't been grand Pip, cause it hasn't! We gotta run! Bye!''

He shook hands with pip very quickly and this time wasn't trapped by the handshake and they shot off, Lucy followed managing to tune into just a bit of toon speed as they shot through the vestibule and through the outside doors.

suddenly they screeched to a stop but Lucy couldn't in time and ended up bumping into the back of Wakko and nearly falling over again, she composed herself quickly and looked to see what had caused them to stop, what she saw made her don a similar shocked expression to her peers.

Pip had appeared at the outer doors.

And he was still talking.

Lucy would have smiled at the fact that one of the Warners own tricks had just been used on them had it not been a mix of both terrifying and boring.

An unexpected combo to say the least.

Yakko even picked up the dumpy man to see if there was any sort of trick to it but nothing, Pip carried on as if it was nothing.

The Warners revved their feet to run and Lucy got ready as well, the four shot off with a cry of retreat that came from 3 of them and shot down the pavement away from the restaurant, they reached a bus stop and paused to look back thankfully he was still by the door.

''We'd love to stay and count our brain cells as they die one by one'' snipped Yakko.

''But we can't'' finished Dot.

''gotta go'' added Wakko.

Lucy just turned and waved.

And saw Pip walking after them.

shocked and un-nerved she turned and saw a bus pull up, the four of them scurried on with the Warners shouting bye as they did right as Pip arrived and the door shut on him letting the bus zoom off without him.

relieved at last the Warners ran off down the bus corridor in exhibited displays of glee, Yakko was somersaulting, Dot was skipping, Wakko was hopping up and down like a pogo stick, Lucy managed a few pirouette's as they bounded along.

''FREE AT LAST! FREE AT LAST!'' They sang as they through themselves down onto a seat at the back.

''THANK GO-''

''-but who could compete with Leo, I think I was just afraid I'd fail-''

They froze and turned at the familiar voice, to see Pip sat there next to them.

And he was still talking.

The Warners screamed and Lucy ran her hands down her face slightly exasperated.

Dot was sat next to Pip which unfortunately left her to force a smile of somewhat interest, Yakko was sat next to her but pre-occupied himself by picking his ear, Lucy was sat next to him but she decided to try and occupy herself by re-doing her hair ribbon.

Wakko was between her and the window, eating from his gag bag.

Pip seemed to be talking about musical instruments, or shops that sold them.

Lucy pointedly looked anywhere other than where Dot was sat trying to disassociate.

Suddenly Dot reached over and in the blink of an eye she pulled Wakko over and sat him in her place while she scooched over shifting the whole of them so now she was sat by the window and Wakko was now by pip.

Her eyes widened remembering this bit.

They grabbed the furthest one and put them in their place.

She was next.

And she wouldn't dare do that to Yakko.

She tightened her grasp on her hair ribbon where she had it in her hand before looking down at it, then up at the luggage rack the bus had above them.

An idea not unlike one of the Warners own formed in her head.

Dare she?

She looked over and saw Wakko notice who he was sat next to.

Now or never!

She threw the ribbon up keeping a tight grip on one end and watched it sail upwards much further than it logically should have reached as she concentrated as hard as she could, the free end reached the metal bar of the luggage rack, looped round it and when she gave a pull it tightened.

Willing it with every fibre of her body to hold she scrambled up the ribbon and tried very hard not to question the improbability of this situation.

If she was to be a cartoon she would have to act it, so as she reached the luggage rack she hung there on the purple ribbon and remained very still.

Turns out she did it just in time as Wakko reached over and instead grabbed Yakko who was beside her and the trio shifted again as he put his brother in his place, the space she had occupied was still free but she didn't dare drop back down.

Dot however noticed they were one short and looked around before noticing her up above.

Lucy froze.

Dot however must have realised her trick and went to say something to call her out.

But then Yakko pulled the same trick she had and suddenly she was back next to Pip.

And he was still talking.

Dot threw a very put-out look at Lucy who just smiled albeit a bit nervously.

Not exactly how she planned on getting back at her but it worked.

Dot re-assumed her forced smile as Pip continued to talk.

''-and as I was strolling along I detected a delectable scent in the air, 'what could it be?' I asked myself-''

''Silence?'' offered dot.

Pip didn't notice and went off again on a tangent about tambourines and scents right as Dot grabbed Wakko and put him in her place shifting the whole row a final time, Lucy breathed a sigh of relief.

Until she felt the ribbon shift a little.

Suddenly she didn't feel so relieved.

Thankfully the shifting seemed to have stopped because as she looked Dot instead decided (despite the fact she was no longer beside Pip) to wrap herself in a cocoon and stayed in there.

Seeing the shifting had stopped she quickly made to climb down and slowly began edging away from the luggage rack.

Then the ribbon gave.

she fell and landed none too gracefully on her back on the seat between the window and Yakko, with her feet up on the backrest and her hair now in her eyes, she brushed aside a few strands to see Yakko looking down at her curiously along with Wakko.

She smiled nervously as her ribbon fluttered down and landed on her waist.

Both Warner brothers held up a score card.

Yakko's was 7.

Wakko's was 10.

Pip simply hadn't noticed.

And he was still talking.

Lucy scrambled into a sitting position and began to redo her hair bow into its ponytail, feeling a bit like she may have made a spectacle of herself.

Just then Dots cocoon broke open and she emerged, now a butterfly with enormous pink wings which she used to hover above them flapping slightly.

Suddenly Lucy didn't feel quite so conspicuous anymore.

She looked out the window and saw the water tower coming up and pointed showing Yakko, who reached up and rang the bell.

The bus stopped outside the studio with a screech and the four of them rushed off the bus leaving pip behind, the bus door slammed shut and it roared off taking pip with it.

And he was still talking.

The quartet walked across the road watching it go and waved it off before saying various farewells.

''Adios!''

''Arrivederci''

''Au revoir!''

''Sayonara!''

''Aloha Oe!''

''Oi Vey!''

Pretty sure that last one doesn't quite count as a goodbye.

Lucy just showed a sign that said goodbye.

the four then ran over to the leg of the tower and the Warners ran up it like nothing, Lucy made a valiant attempt and made it a good 12 feet up before she began to falter and panic started to set in, but Yakko quickly whipped his tail around her like he had done so many times in the past not lifting her up but managing to keep her stable as she ran vertically up the tower.

Almost like training wheels.

They jumped onto the catwalk and Yakko threw open the door, Dot sighed in relief.

''Home sweet home'' she said before they darted inside and shut the door with a clunk.

They locked the door, turned round, and froze.

''-now the smell was actually less baloney and more orchid, the beautiful flower found on the island state Hawaii.

They stared for a minute before all four let out various sobs of utter defeat sinking to the floor, Lucy fell back against the wall and slid down onto her rump again running her hands in down the side of her face and she stared at the ceiling in despair.

And this time she was NOT exaggerating her feelings.

There was no need to.

And he was still talking.

The rest of that night's routine didn't go much better as Pip seemed resolute on finishing his story.

The Warners had seemingly given up.

Had she been in much of a better mood Lucy would have found it humorous that the Warners had for once met a worthy foe.

If she hadn't had to endure him as well.

She sighed where she sat in the bathtub with Dot, Wakko Yakko and Pip was outside waiting for their turn.

And he was still talking.

they could hear him outside the door and as she began washing her hair like how Dot had told her to (despite her own shorter hair the Warner sister knew a surprising amount about how to take care of longer hair like Lucy's own) she figured they were in for a long night.

This proved correct.

Later as they were brushing their teeth before bed Pip was still there waffling on about how curiosity killed the cat,

Or orchids.

She didn't even know, all she was vaguely aware of was that this whole thing had gotten sparked by cheese balls.

Later still they were getting ready for bed, Lucy was in her own bed, Dot was I her own but Wakko and Yakko was having to double up in Yakko's bed,

Their guest had gotten dibs on Wakko's bed.

No-one could even be bothered to fight it anymore.

Lucy blearily looked over as Dot shoved a pillow through her ears, considering doing the same as she looked over at Pip tucked up in Wakko's bed, feeling a pang of resentment towards the dreary man as Wakko was forced to bunk with his brother.

But at this point everyone had stopped caring.

Yakko turned off the light and turned over in his bed, deciding they'd had enough for the night.

Lucy sighed through her nose and pulled her sheets up around her making herself comfy as she and the Warners settled down for the night...

And he was still talking.

That night had been a very poor one.

Lucy was quite adept at sleeping in rough conditions, but Pip proved to be something altogether different, he was like a white noise machine only with the reverse effect for sleeping.

The quartet woke up that morning having barely gotten 3 hours sleep between them and Lucy woke up bleary eyed and blinking in the morning sun.

And he was still talking.

They wearily trooped over to the dining table, Lucy span changed into her usual attire, something she could do much easier now but due to a lack of sleep she ended up falling onto her front as she did, dizzy, tired and disorientated.

Wakko helped her up and they walked to the table together with Pip following behind them.

Breakfast wasn't much more fun; Lucy stared despondently at the bowl of cereal before her as Pip sat across the table waffling on about how he'd had to take a sofa home himself.

Dot was eating slowly through her bowl.

Yakko seemed to have slipped into some sort 'awake coma',

Until Wakko flicked a spoonful of cereal at him.

Lucy was too tired to even giggle at that and looked lowly across the table.

''-and just as I stepped onto the street, by accident I bumped into a well dressed man with an orchid in his lapel, it was Bob Barker, and he was eating a baloney and cheese ball sandwich''.

Pip then stood up, ''well it's been nice chatting with you''.

The quartet blinked, ''huh?'' said the Warners.

Pip walked out the door and waved back, ''bye'' he said before leaving and shutting the door.

The four of them looked at the door, the silence a little overwhelming now he was gone.

They looked among each other, none quite sure how to react.

Dot broke the silence.

''IT'S TOO QUIET!'' she wailed.

''I MISS HIM!'' cried Wakko.

Yakko leapt up, ''PIP WAIT!'' he shouted running to the door quickly followed by his two siblings as he threw open the door and yelled to down below.

''Pip come back! Tell us another story!'' he shouted as Dot and Wakko jumped off the catwalk before he followed suit.

''Please! I want to learn more about baloney!'' cried Dot as she ran after him.

''Did you ever meet Don Knots?!'' called Wakko

''Oh tell us! Please do!'' shouted Yakko as all three ran out of the studio lot and down the road.

None noticing they were one short.

Lucy remained sat at the tiny booth as she watched them go, the door swinging shut on its own behind them.

She left her cereal bowl where it was, shuffled out of the booth and traipsed over to her own bed before leaping onto it and sighing contently as she shut her eyes.

The Warners could please themselves this time, this opportunity however, was all hers...

And he was NOT still talking...
