Slowly walking over the graves of the honored soldiers...

Paying my respects, even to whom I gave cold shoulders...

There a crowd stands, a late soldier's belongings in their hands,

A tear fell from somewhere, Maybe a raindrop from my hair..

The clouds are quite thick today, So thick with vapor like clay;

It's time for umbrellas opening up, shielding us from rain...

If only umbrellas shield tears too, ere rain falls again...

My eyes were cowered under my hood,

To try and cover the truth of brotherhood, sisterhood,

We Spartans united, Against the War we ignited,

Fighting until all energy we drain,

Though Death some of us gain

But for now, I must survive this rain.

Against beasts we fought,

Killing each one without a second thought,

Some of us the Flood has caught,

Some of us empty handed, naught,

Though some Death has got,

Well, maybe not some, but a lot,

Still I must live, go on, Not sad I feign,

Because I must survive this dreaded rain.

Passing by my brothers' graves I did,

And then..no tears I do I hid..

Falling on my knees for my true brothers' deeds,

Faith, Kin, Trust were a family's keys,

And some, wishing for their speeches; I'll heed,

Maybe someday we'll meet again,

Until then, We must survive this rain.
