Hey guys my next chapter is finally up.

Sorry it took me so long. I had a massive case of writers block.

I have had a few comments on my spelling and grammar. I would like to once again apologize for this as I have Dyslexia. I have gone through this chapter repeatedly so hopefully it is a lot better.

Do not own Naruto, now on with the story.

Chapter 4 – So much for secrets

Kakashi was walking down the streets of Konoha. He was headed towards the hokage's office to receive his genin team. By the time he got there he would be two hours late. Just how he liked it. As he walked he was reading. However it was not his normal perverted little orange book. Instead it was the test results of one Naruto Uzumaki.

Kakashi found it to be an interesting read. It showed that Naruto had been hiding his skills for a while. To be able to go from the dead last to the rookie of the year was amazing, especially with these scores. The notes on the tiajutsu style interested him the most. They matched the girl he had been after almost exactly. He was now positive they knew each other. Not to mention determined to have him on his team.

If Naruto was on his team it would make it easier to follow him, since he was having no luck at the moment and he might be able to gain his trust. If he could do that then Naruto might eventually just reveal it to him. Although that would take longer than he wanted, it was an option to consider.

*-UZU-*

Kakashi entered the hokage's office to be met with a load of eyes glaring at him.

"Sorry I'm late I got lost on the road of life." He knew his excuses were lame but he couldn't resist. The looks on their faces were priceless. Also it was his own way of honoring Obito, his lost teammate. The Hokage coughed to gain everyone's attention.

"Now that everyone is here I would like to hear any request in regards to your teams." There was silence at first before Kakashi decided to go first. He wanted to make sure he got Naruto and with these scores he could not be sure that someone else would not want him.

"I would like to request that Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno be placed on my team. The third member I do not mind." Before the exam he had also wanted Sasuke Uchiha on his team as a way to honor Obito but after what he has heard he wants nothing to do with him. He is far to arrogant. Not to mention he could bring the teams overall teamwork down. Then there is Sakura. She is a known Uchiha fan girl. If Sasuke is placed on the team it might affect her performance and training as she would probable be to busy cheering him on.

The council had already spoken to him in regards to Sasuke and were forcing him to have him on his team and focus solely on him. It was his hope that if he did not request him then the hokage might give him someone else. This would allow him to ignore the councils commands. With Sasuke's score however the chances were slim.

He glanced at the hokage to see a weird gleam in his eyes as well as a smirk on his face. The cause of such a look where unknown to him at the moment.

"Ah yes I see no problem with that providing there are no objections." He looked at the other jounin's to see them all shake their heads. "Very well then they are yours. As to the third member it has to be Sasuke Uchiha. It has always been tradition to put the rookie of the year and the Konochi of the year with the deadlast. Since the deadlast was Sasuke there is no other alternative. You will be called team seven."

Kakashi hung his head. He was afraid of that. Oh well he would just have to find another way around it. He lifted his head when he heard Kurenai start to speak. Kurenai was a rather new jounin and he wondered who she would ask for.

"If I may. I would like to request for Kiba Inuzuka, Hinata Hyuga and Shino Aburame. With the skills they have I believe they would make a good tracking team." The Hokage sat contemplating it for a while before he spoke.

"I see no problems. Does anyone object?" Again everyone was silent. "Very well you shall be called team 8." It was Asuma who stepped forward next. And his request was no surprise to anyone.

"I would like to request for my team to be the new generation of Ino-Shika-Cho." The hokage nodded his head at this already knowing there would be no objections.

"Okay then you shall be called team 10." As for the rest of the teams Kakashi just blanked them out pulling out his little book so he could read. When the meeting was over he simply went home happy with his team despite having Sasuke. It may be possible after all for him to change Sasuke and make him into a better ninja. Only time would tell.

Point of view change

"Eureka! " The sudden yell from Sakura nearly gave Shikamaru a heart attack. He spun around to see Sakura excitedly jumping up and down waving a file in the air. They were in the secret archives. Sakura had approached him about a week ago asking for help on the mystery that was Naruto. It did not take much convincing before he agreed to lend her a hand. It was his idea that they sneak into the secret archives to see what they could find. Upon his suggestion Sakura had smiled and asked him to leave that to her and to meet her on his favorite hill the next day.

The following day he had met Sakura to see that she was holding a pass for the secret archives. She had spoken to her mum, who was on the council to get her a pass so that she could look up more information on Sasuke to help her in her bid to win him over. Her mum had apparently jumped at the idea. Pass in hand they had simply walked in with no problems at all. However there search had not been as easy. They had immediately- gone to the most top secret files to find anything relating to the name Uzumaki but had found nothing in there week long search. It appeared that Sakura had found something at last.

"Sssshh... Keep it down you troublesome girl. Do you want us to get kicked out?" Sakura stopped jumping around but did not lose the grin that was on her face.

"I have found an Uzumaki. She was in a folder labeled Fuin." She said excitedly.

Shikamaru just looked at her with confusion written on his face. "Why was it in a folder labeled seal?"

"Well the first person in here was named Kushina Uzumaki. It says that she was a seal master. It also states that she was married to the Yondaime Hokage who is also a seal master. Maybe they have put all the people famous for sealing in this folder." Shikamaru nodded his head in agreement but frowned in thought.

"Well that makes sense. However that can't be who we are looking for. Is there any other Uzumaki's in that folder?" Sakura just shrugged her shoulders. Shikamaru sighed and pulled up seat to begin to look through the file.

*-UZU-*

Shikamaru was in shock. They had been looking through the file for about an hour when he felt they had found what they were looking for. His shock was not due to actually finding it but was due to what it meant. He had been casually reading through when he came to the Yondaime's file. His name was Minato Namikaze. At first he dismissed it and was just going to put it aside when he caught sight of the picture. It was the spitting image of Naruto without the whisker marks. That was shock enough but not as much as the shock he got when he read what it said. It stated that he lost his life sealing the Kyubbi into his only daughter Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze.

Sakura finally noticing his shock took the file from his hand and began to read. Her reaction was much different to Shikamaru's. She was furious.

"THAT DEMON. HOW DARE SHE LIE TO US. I BET THIS WAS ALL A BID TO GET SASUKE-KUN. WELL I AM GOING TO PUT A STOP TO IT. I AM GOING TO GO OUT THERE AND TELL EVERYONE HER SECRETS. THEY DESERVE TO KNOW WHAT TYPE OF DEMON IS WALKING AMONGST THEM." This snapped Shikamaru out of his daze. He turned to see her stomping off. He quickly jumped up and grabbed her arm.

"Sakura wait." he pleaded.

"LIKE HELL I WILL! SHE..."

"No listen for one she ain't the demon. It was sealed inside of her. Which means she is its prison they are not the same thing. For another I think the adults already know about the sealing which would explain why she is hated so much. Second the hokage could not tell everyone that she was the yondaime's daughter as he had many enemies. She probably would not have lasted the week. And third since she is so hated by the village what do you think they would do to her if they knew she was a girl." Sakura hung her head in shame. "It was all done to protect her. Telling everyone what we know could end up with her dead."

Sakura had not thought of any of that. She could not believe what she had almost done.

"So what do we do?" she asked in a more subdued voice.

"We need to speak with Naruto about what we have found."

*-UZU-*

Naruto sat on her sofa reading a scroll about sealing. She had been training all week but had decided to take it easy today since she would be receiving her teams the next day. She was so immersed in her scroll that she nearly missed the knock at her door. She put her scroll away and quickly pulled on her henge.

When she open the door she was surprised to see Shikamaru and Sakura standing nervously outside.

"Erm what are you doing here?" She said in surprise.

Sakura continued looking at her feet refusing to meet her gaze. "Do you mind if we come in we need to talk." she said.

Naruto was confused but did not let it show. Instead she put on a big fake smile. "Sure. Have you finally decided to hang out with me rather than that Sasuke-teme."

They both shuffled in and Naruto closed the door.

"Erm no we are her about something else." Now she was really confused. Sakura would normally hit her on the head and tell her to stop insulting her Sasuke-kun. What was going on?

It was Shikamaru who answered her question. "Erm Naruto both me and Sakura were confused with how you acted in the genin exams. You were stronger however your tiajutsu style seemed wrong somehow. Not to mention no one knows anything about you, like who your family are so we did some research. Naruto I hope you are not mad but we know your a girl and who your parents are. The reason we are here is we thought you should know and also we hopped you would answer our questions on who taught you and how you got so strong since our research did not tell us that."

Naruto was in shock. What ever she was expecting it was not this. She felt lost. While she wished people could know who she really was she was scared to tell anyone as she did not think they would accept her. She could not trust them. And now these two knew. How many others would they tell. Naruto's henge dropped as tears cascaded down her cheeks. She heard them both gasp but ignored it to engrossed with her inner turmoil. She did not know how long she had been standing there crying when she felt two arms wrap themselves around her snapping her out of her depressed state.

"Naruto its alright. We are not angry at you and we will keep your secret. We promise." Sakura stated soothingly. Naruto pulled her head back and looked Sakura straight in the eyes. Finding nothing but honesty and friendship she smiled. Sakura led the Naruto over to the coach with Shikamaru trialling behind. Naruto took a minute to calm down before telling the pair everything about her life. Including the beatings and who taught her.

At the end of her story Sakura was in tears and Shikamaru looked like he was soon to join her. They remained in silence for a few minutes before they looked at her and smiled stating that they would help her in any way they can. With those words a weight was lifted off her chest. Perhaps there was hope that she could one day be herself and be accepted after all.

*-UZU-*

Naruto was sitting with her team, Sasuke and Sakura. They were currently waiting for their sensei. However he was two hours late. Sakura was getting more annoyed by the minute and Sasuke well he was brooding as always. Naruto was reading a book about seals. She was glad she got put on a team with Sakura as it meant she had someone she could talk to. Her other team member however was a different story. She wished she could change him but new it was impossible.

About twenty minutes later she sensed someone behind the door and knew it was probably her sensei. She was a bit dubious about why he was late but decided to wait to meet him before she passed judgment on him.

When he entered she looked him over with appraising eyes. His hair was silver and spiked up to the left , he had a mask that covered the bottom half of his face and his headband slanted down to cover his left eye. He was very tall around 6ft2 and even though his clothes were baggy he appeared lean and muscular. He stood with a lazy carefree aura around him though she could tell he was actually very alert to his surroundings. The aura was probably to throw people off. Well on first impressions he doesn't seem bad, she thought, though I wish those pants were tighter I want to see more of that nice a... Naruto yanked her wandering thoughts to a screeching halt. What was she thinking. Bad Naruto, no pervy thoughts. You have to focus on training not men's butts. She quickly fought of the blush that threatened to rise to her cheeks. It would be pretty weird for a boy to blush at the sight of his sensei.

Kakashi looked at them all with apparently no interest.

"Well my first impression of you all is that you are all idiots. Meet me on the roof in five minutes." With that said he disappeared in a poof of smoke.

So he knows the kage bunshin then Naruto thought filing the information away for later. She got up and followed her teammates out of the room.

Once she got to the roof she sat down next to Sakura and waited for their sensei, (who currently had his nose stuck in a little orange book,) to speak trying to keep her gaze from traveling to low. Kakashi snapped his book closed and looked up at them gazing over them appraisingly.

"Well now that you are all here why don't you all introduce yourselves." He stated

"Well why don't you go first sensei since you are the stranger here." Sakura said logically. Kakashi rubbed his masked chin contemplating the suggestion.

"Hmm alright. My name is Kakashi Hatake. I like many things. My dislikes are of no concern of yours and, well, my dream for the future? Haven't really thought about it." Sakura and Sasuke sat silently fuming at just getting his name and nothing else. "Now Blondie how about you go first?"

Naruto did not reply she just sat there apparently staring of into space. In reality Naruto had not heard anything that was just said she had been to busy staring at her sensei's body as his deep timbre voice washed over her. She licked her lips as her gaze traveled up to meet has eyes. Seeing confusion in his eyes snapped her out of her dazed state and she looked around to find everyone staring at her. She tried to recall what they wanted with no success. She scratched the back of her head as she smiled sheepishly.

"Sorry what did you say." She heard Kakashi sigh and from the corner of her eye she saw her friend Sakura giving her a smirk Just past her Sasuke was shacking his head as muttered something probably a demeaning insult.

"Can you please introduce yourself?" Kakashi repeated.

"Oh sure. Well my name is Naruto Uzumaki. I love Ramen, training, seals and my friends. I hate distractions, the three minutes it takes to cook instant ramen, people who hurt my friends and perverts. My dream for the future is to become Hokage so I can protect everyone and make people acknowledge me as me."

"Good pinkie you next."

"Well my name is Sakura Harano. I like my friends, books and erm a certain person. I hate being called pinkie, people who misjudge others and the need for secrets, My dream for the future...erm well I am not sure. I know I would like to help my friend and that I would someday like to be with a certain someone but as for my life dream I am no longer sure. A recent event taught me to look at the big picture and I realized that I need to get stronger to protect and help my friends but I am not sure which path I should take. So until I figure that out I am not aware of what my dream is." Sakura let out a breath and bowed her head feeling Naruto put her arm around her shoulders. She looked up at her hendged form and smiled at her.

Kakashi mean while was hiding his shock. He had been expecting a fan girl not this. Instead it looked like something had snapped her out of it. What or whom he had no idea. He was rather happy with the surprise and promised himself that he would help her if he could and if they passed his test.

"Very good. Now you emo." Sasuke grunted as he kept his gaze trained away from everyone else.

"My name is Sasuke uchiha. I don't like much but hate a lot of things. Including fan girls and people who do not know their place. My dream...no my destiny is to kill a certain person." Sakura and Naruto looked at Sasuke in shock at the cold and hate filled introduction. Naruto was not sure why she was surprised but she was.

Kakashi meanwhile scowled at the Uchiha. He was expecting this and hoped he could turn him around otherwise he would be a danger to his team.

"Well that was very cheerful." He said sarcastically. " Now tomorrow I want you to meet me at training ground seven. We are going to do a test to see if you can become genin. Now before you say anything the genin exam that you just took was to see if you had any chance of passing. I will warn you now that out of all the students who passed only 33% of you will pass. So meet me there tomorrow a five am. Oh and don't eat breakfast you will throw up." With his piece said he shunshined away leaving a scattering of leaves behind.

Naruto Sakura and Sasuke stood up and looked at each other before Sasuke started to walk away.

"Hey Sasuke why don't we all go have dinner and try to figure out a plan for tomorrow or at least go and scout out training ground 7." Naruto said. She did not want his help but new that it might be needed tomorrow.

"Hn. Like I need you losers." With that he walked away. Sakura's head bowed as sadness washed over her.

"come on Sakura just ignore him we can just prepare ourselves." And with that they both left the roof in search of the training ground.

*-UZU-*

As they scouted out the training ground so they new the land better they had decided that if it came down to a fight that Naruto would be the upfront fighter whilst Sakura was the background support. They had even agreed to help out Sasuke if he needed it. Once done Naruto started to walk Sakura home.

"Hey Naruto? I couldn't help noticing the way you were looking at Kakashi earlier." Sakura said slyly. Naruto blushed crimson.

"I...I Don't know what you are talking about." She stuttered.

"No way! You so could not take your eyes of him. I think you fancy him." She said with a smile on her lips.

"Not a chance, he's our sensei. That would be just wrong. Plus I just met the guy. And how could I fancy someone when you can't see his face." She protested loudly.

"All true but you weren't looking at his face. I mean come on, with all of your staring you had to have seen those powerful legs hidden beneath those trousers. If only they were tighter huh Naruto?" She asked trying to get her friend to slip. Naruto too caught up-in the image that produced said the first thing that popped into her mind.

"Yeah and more of his nice firm bum." she said licking her lips.

"Hah I knew it. " Sakura yelled triumphantly shocking Naruto out of her daze.

"What. I mean I didn't mean it like that. I wasn't even looking." She protested. Seeing Sakura's raised eyebrow she just sighed in defeat. "Fine so he was good looking but I don't fancy him I swear."

"uh hu." Sakura said in a totally disbelieving tone of voice. Anyway this is my place so I better go and prepare for tomorrow. Bye Naruto."

"Bye. Oh and eat breakfast." With that Naruto walked back to her apartment trying to convince herself that she did not fancy Kakashi.

*-UZU-*

The alarm blared loudly in Naruto's ear causing her to groan in annoyance. Her hand fumbled around trying to find the button to turn it off before she gave up and simply threw it at the wall. Knowing she would be unable to get back to sleep now, no matter how much she wanted to, she climbed out of bed Whilst she got ready for the day ahead she decided to create a shadow clone to cook her some breakfast.

Once she was dressed and her equipment ready she walked through to the kitchen to see her breakfast on the table. She dispelled the clone and sat down to eat her food. she contemplated the coming test knowing she could probably pass whatever it was. She could also probably get Sakura through as well. The only worry was Sasuke. Because of his pride and arrogance they could all fail.

Finished with her breakfast she put the dishes in the sink, pulled on her henge, grabbed her stuff and headed out to the training ground.

*-UZU-*

Sasuke and Sakura were already at the training ground when she arrived. Sakura gave her a friendly wave but Sasuke just glared at her and looked away. Typical she thought. How were they supposed to be a successful team with him acting like that she will never know. Normally she would try to get through to him, anyone was worth a chance after all. However she just didn't think that it would work on him, but she would try.

"Hey Sakura, hey Sasuke. Still no sign of sensei then?" Sakura just smiled and shook her head. Considering how late he was yesterday it was no surprise. "OK well why don't we do some warm up exercises until he gets here?" Sasuke obviously did not like the idea as he just glared at her again. Sakura however jumped at the chance since she wanted to become stronger and not be a dead weight to the team.

The warm up exercises quickly became more of a lesson with Naruto instructing Sakura on what physical exercises would suit her best and on how to preform them effectively. Naruto didn't push her to hard as they still had a test to do and they didn't want to be to worn out. About two hours later their sensei appeared. Naruto was not too bothered about how late he was and just smiled at him. Sakura was too pleased with her work today to care. Sasuke however gave their sensei a particularly nasty glare. Naruto shook her head at this. Glaring at a jounin in her opinion was a bad idea. He didn't even ask why he was late he just glared at him. For all he knew their sensei might have a good excuse.

"Hey sensei. How come you are so late?" Naruto asked. Kakashi Smiled at them while he scratched the back of his head.

"Well you see I got lost on the road of life and it took me a while to find a map." Naruto and Sakura face faulted at this. Maybe he didn't have a good excuse after all. "So lets get on with the test shall we." He stated as he took an alarm clock out of his pockets. "You will have until noon to get these bells off me. Who ever doesn't get a bell will be tied to one of these training posts and will have their dinner eaten in-front of them before they get sent back to the academy."

He paused to listen to their reactions. Sasuke looked determined as his stomach growled. It appeared he had eaten no breakfast. Sakura looked worried as she went over what he said. Naruto however looked contemplative. It appeared that he had already noticed that something did not add up. Also it looked like they had both eaten breakfast. This was good. Going into a potential battle with no food in your stomach was a bad idea.

"Sensei you only have two bells. Does this mean that one of us would have to go back?" Sakura asked. Kakashi eye smiled as he nodded his head.

"Yes Sakura. Your time begins now." With that all three jumped into the trees.

Naruto sat hidden in the trees beneath a camouflage jutsu whilst compressing her chakra. Something just didn't add up. How could a genin stand a chance against a jounin. She probably could hold him off for a bit if she dropped her henge but she would still most likely lose. Dropping her henge however was out of the question which limited her to about high chunin strength. The only way they had any chance was to work together. Sakura she could count on. Sasuke however was a problem. There was no way he would work with them. Sighing she took off after Sakura. She would have to try.

Sakura was easy to find and after a quick explanation they took off in search off Sasuke. They found him sitting in tree watching their sensei obviously trying to find an opening.

"Hey Sasuke. We need to talk to you." Naruto whispered. "We think we should work together. There is no way we can defeat Kakashi on our own. He is too strong." Sasuke turned to look at them and gave them both a dark look.

"Hn. Look at you too. Trying too get an easy pass by riding through this test on the might of the Uchiha. You losers may not be able to take him on but don't underestimate me. There is no way I am working with you two. You would only drag me down. Now stay out of my way." Naruto shook her head whilst Sakura looked to be on the verge of tears. Both seeing this as a lost cause they took off to plan.

*-UZU-*

Naruto watched from her vantage point as Sakura went after Kakashi alone. This was all apart of the plan. She just hoped it worked. Sakura whilst not very strong at the moment was perfect for this role. Kakashi would underestimate her. With a scream Sakura fell to the genjutsu and Naruto smiled. Their plan was simple but hopefully effective. Sakura would take on Kakashi alone whilst looking for an opportunity to feign unconsciousness. When that happened Naruto would run in and distract Kakashi long enough for Sakura to grab the bell. Their plan revolved around the saying hidden in plain sight. Now it was her turn.

Naruto jumped in behind Kakashi and sent a punch at his back hoping to catch him by surprise. It was not to be however as he nimbly dodged out of the way whilst sending a kick aimed at Naruto head. Dropping to the ground She narrowly avoided the kick before attempting to trip him up with her leg. What resulted was a whirlwind of kicks and punches as the two engaged in a fierce tiajutsu battle. Naruto could tell that their sensei was holding back a lot as neither one was gaining ground. In a true battle Naruto knew this would not be the case.

Point of view change

Sakura lay on the ground watching as the two fought. Now she knew she would have to train. There was no way she could keep up with them pair. The way they moved seemed like some sort of choreographed dance. Both unique and beautiful. Getting back on track she watched closely for when an opening appeared.

Seeing one coming up Sakura leapt to her feet and dashed towards the fighting duo. Before she could get there she felt something heating her skin. Turning around she saw the fireball rushing towards her and froze.

Point of view change

Kakashi was impressed by Naruto's fighting style. Even though he was holding back Naruto was pretty strong. If he hazarded a guess he would say around high chunin which was impressive for a genin new out of the academy. He saw Naruto freeze with one hand holding his leg that had been aimed at his head whilst the other was aimed at him midriff. If Naruto had not of frozen up it would have winded him. Looking at what had surprised his student his blood ran cold. A fireball was headed straight at Sakura. Sakura had obviously not lost consciousness and had been looking for an opening that Naruto would provide. A good plan. They obviously got the idea. However as she ran to take advantage of the current opening Sasuke had sent a the Grand Fireball jutsu straight at her to stop her from getting the bells. So determined to win he tried to kill his teammate. Just as he was about to go and save her his other team member shocked him.

Point of view change

Naruto had finally found the chance to give Sakura an opening. Kakashi was about to kick her in the midriff when she grabbed hold of his leg with her left hand. With her right hand she sent a punch at his stomach hoping to wind him whist he was off balance when a voice stopped her cold. Her enhanced hearing allowed her to hear what the others couldn't.

"Fire style: Grand Fireball jutsu." Sasuke whispered. Naruto looked at where the voice had come from to see a fireball hurtling from the treeline, not towards her but towards the helpless Sakura who was now standing straight in its path. With out thinking she let go of kakashi's leg. Brought her hands up to the appropriate seal and substituted with Sakura. Now it was her who was facing the fireball. Quickly multiply the water molecules in her body she prepared her defense. Whilst she was better at this technique she could only safely use it in her arm whilst in boy form. All over had a tendency to leaving her panting on the floor in exhaustion from the strain of controlling it. Even when she was in her true form she could only use it in her arms and legs. Too put out the fireball however she would have to use it all over her body. She only hope that Kurama would not kill her later.

"Sweat release: Tidal push." She screamed out as she pushed the water from her body in a wave that quickly doused both the fireball and Sasuke. Collapsing onto the ground she let out a sigh of relief. She looked at Sasuke with hatred filling her eyes. That idiot nearly got their teammate killed. She knew he was arrogant and proud but even she had not expected that. Struggling to her feet she staggered over to the stunned Kakashi and Sakura. Seeing he was too shocked to move she calmly pulled the bells from his waist just before the alarm clock rang. "So... do we pass?" She panted.

*-UZU-*

Naruto was sitting down with Sakura and Sasuke on either side. She could feel Kurama's chakra running through her chakra network replenishing what was lost and restoring her. She already felt a lot better.

"Well Naruto you have both bells. Who will you give the other one too." Kakashi asked. While he appeared calm Naruto suspected otherwise as he kept sending glares at the uncaring and currently wet Uchiha.

"Well I am going to give one to Sakura as she did help me in trying to get the bells. However I am also going to give the other one to Sasuke. While he might not care about his teammates I refuse to abandon them." With that said she handed them over to the smirking Sasuke and the currently shocked Sakura.

"Well then I have only one thing to say. You all pass. The point of this test was teamwork. Naruto. You and Sakura got this almost straight away and you even tried to get Sasuke to help as well however he refused. You then came up with a good plan that probably would have worked. You however Sasuke are a disgrace. If it were up to me you would be dropped from the program. Had it not been for Naruto Sakura could have been killed and whats worse you don't appear to care. Remember this those who break the rules are trash. However, those who abandoned their teammates are worse than trash. Now I will report this incident to the Hokage. I will allow you to pass as I believe you have potential. But make no mistake I will drop you if you do not appear to think more about the well being of your comrades." Sasuke just looked at him indifferently. Naruto doubted he would listen to any of what their sensei just said but maybe he would eventually get through to Sasuke. "Now meet me hear tomorrow at 7." With that said he shunshined away.

Naruto decided she liked her new sensei. He appeared strong and thought highly of his comrades. She stood up and said goodbye to Sakura before heading off into the forest. Ignoring Sasuke completely. She could not speak to him right now or she might end up killing him. She needed to vent her anger and eventually she found a clearing that would do nicely. Dropping her henge she proceeded to punch a tree over and over again leaving dents behind in there wake.

Point of view change

Kakashi sat in a tree watching his new team. They all had potential. Sakura had showed her cunning, intuition and the ability to listen when needed. Sasuke whilst he was obviously strong had a long way to go. If he could get over his need for revenge he could be a strong shinobi. However with what he saw today he would need a lot work. Naruto had the most potential of them all. He was strong and had a good grasp of the basics. Also protecting Sakura the way he did showed he valued his comrades life over his own. A good quality for a shinobi to possess.

This test had also confirmed one thing. Naruto knew the mystery girl. It was too much of a coincidence that they both used a water style called sweat release. That was why he was currently hiding in a tree. He was hoping to follow him to find the mystery girl. He let out a giggle at the thought.

As Naruto took off into the treeline he thought of what he would say to her. He did not want to get into a fight with her after all. A few minutes later Naruto finally stopped. Kakashi sighed in disappointment. She was not here. Still he might as well stay. She might show up. It did not matter if he was a bit late for the meeting with the Hokage.

He watched as he brought up his hands in the sign used for dispelling an illusion. He looked down at him in confusion. There was no genjutsu in the area so what was he dispelling. His confusion was soon expelled form his mind as he saw Naruto transform into a girl.

He finally understood why he had never heard of her. Why he could not find her. Naruto was her Naruto was Minato's daughter not son.

As she started to punch the tree he jumped down behind her before walking up to her. When he was directly behind her he lifted his arm up to clasp a hand on her shoulder.

End of chapter.

Cliffhanger no jutsu: I know I'm evil.
