Vitally Important read before reading:

I do not normally rely on music in fanfiction, I find it ruins things, especially when Harry all of a sudden becomes an accomplished guitarist for no reason (written by authors who claim Rowling didn't know what she was doing when she wrote Harry Potter). However, and this is the important bit: I can't insert music in here so when the moment comes (you'll know it) I need all of you to imagine a certain ocarina tune in its most beautiful form imaginable. Only that way will you be able to experience this part of the chapter like I intend. If you have to, go to youtube and remind yourselves of the sound of the tune in question.

Chapter 7: The Wrath of Navi (Featuring Link)

After returning from the forest, Harry Potter was obviously troubled by something. It seemed that the encounter with the wraith in the forest had shaken the boy up a bit. He seemed in particular to be paying a lot of attention to Professor Snape.

Link followed Harry from a distance. It was relatively easy, he went to the same classes Link did, he studied in the library a lot like Link did and he resided in the same Common Room as Link.

However despite everything, Harry was not a very fruitful source. He and his two friends were tighter than ever and seemed determined to just carry on despite their troubles, though the continued scorn they received as a result of their 150 point loss probably contributed to that considerably.

Every mealtime, the three of them would look up to the staff table as if looking to make sure someone was still there watching over them.

ORACLE2PHOENIX

In spite of his tailing, Link was not learning anything new from Harry. Furthermore reports in the newspapers revealed that more of the creatures that infested Cornwall and Hogwarts had turned up all over Britain, though in nowhere near as great numbers. It was obvious that the creatures in Cornwall were a result of the dark forces that haunted the forest. Similarly the Hogwarts creatures seemed to be emanating from somewhere nearby, though Link was yet to determine where. However the other creatures around Britain appeared to be stray groups and were handled easily by old men with spades, something that was not sufficient in Cornwall.

The papers also reported that monsters were starting to appear in areas outside of Britain. Namely a somewhere called France. A troubling number seemed to have infested a mountain near two magical settlements. Magical security forces had to step up patrols in those areas but there had already been a number of instances involving monsters attacking magical and non-magical people alike.

If Link didn't find anything meaningful at Hogwarts soon, he was planning to head for this France. It was possible that Kentauro was in the area, but it was also possible that he had been and gone. The excursion to Cornwall had taught Link a little about his enemy, but it had given him no further clue as to where he was. Another excursion to France, even if Kentauro had already left could still yield some answers.

ORACLE2PHOENIX

In the meantime however those at Hogwarts had exams to worry about. Link personally wasn't the least bit bothered about doing well at Hogwarts, per se. However after working so hard on all his revision, it would be very irritating not to doing anything less than considerably well in his end of year tests.

As they were sitting their exams, Link always made sure he was sat somewhere he could see Harry. While the Hero of Time kept up his own work, he still occasionally glanced at the Boy Who Lived. Harry seemed to be suffering an ever increasing amount of head pains. Link was surprised the boy was able to get through their last exam the way he was constantly massaging his head.

When the exams were over most the First Years, Harry and his friends included, wanted nothing more than to chill out and relax in the summer weather.

Link followed Harry out to beside the lake and positioned himself a little around the bank from the trio of friends.

"Link what are you up to?" Said Hannah from behind him.

Link jumped, but managed to avoid shouting out.

"Why are you so keen on following Harry?" Said Susan.

Link looked confused.

"Oh please, we've noticed your attentions are on us a lot less than they used to be." Said Susan. "You've been following Potter a lot, why?"

Link pulled a guilty face.

"He's up to something isn't he?" Said Hannah "You're worried that he's involved in something he shouldn't be. Something related to that troll coming in on Halloween."

Link looked confused. He hadn't given the troll any thought since shortly after he killed the stupid thing and he only really thought about it that long because Hannah, Susan and everyone else wouldn't shut up about it.

"I love you most of the time Link." Said Susan. "But I really wish at times like this you'd say something."

Link sighed, he turned to look at where Harry and his friends were relaxing, but found they weren't there anymore.

Hannah and Susan stopped talking about Link's obsession with Harry when they realised the other Gryffindor wasn't there anymore. Instead they had Link play exploding snap with them. He guessed that he could follow Harry later.

After a couple of games and a severe depletion of Link's milk supplies, which Hannah and Susan played a part in consuming, Hannah realised that she still had something in her bag.

"Oh nuts." She said. "This book is supposed to be back in the Library by today."

"You'd better take it back, the library shuts in an hour." Said Susan. "Come on we'll go with you. Maybe we can steal some juice from the hall on the way back. You coming Link?"

Link nodded. After all, there was, as usual nothing better to do.

ORACLE2PHOENIX

Link and the girls were climbing the staircase up to the library when they heard McGonagall shouting.

"…If I here either of you have been near this place, I will take another fifty house points, yes Weasley from my own House. Now both of you get back to the Common Room."

A little further up, they could see Harry and Ron walking quickly away from an irate and angry looking McGonagall who was standing at the Third Floor Corridor.

When she saw Link and his friends coming up, she rounded on them. "And just what are you three doing inside?" She demanded.

Link for his part just stared at her with his decisively passively neutral face.

"I just wanted to return a library book." Said Hannah.

"Well what are you loitering around here for. Go on hurry up." She snapped.

The girls trotted through the corridor to the library pretty quickly. Link went as well, but kept walking at his usual pace. McGonagall had a loud voice and could match him in a staring contest, but she wasn't any good with a sword. Link wasn't even sure if she could fight.

Once they left the Grand Staircase, Navi made her own feelings known.

"Oh how I would like to kick some sense into that old hag. Where does she get off talking to people like that?"

Link met up with the girls at the library desk.

"What was that all about back there?" Said Hannah.

"It was Potter and Weasley again." Said Susan. "What are they up to, did you where they were? Outside the Third Floor Corridor."

Susan turned to look at Link.

"They're involved in something aren't they? They could be in a lot of trouble, couldn't they?" Said Susan

Link's facial expression conveyed his lack of knowledge, but it also indicated he had his suspicions.

"Shall we see if we can find out what it is?" Said Hannah.

"Yeah." Said Susan. "Harry has looked like he's had the whole world on his shoulders lately."

ORACLE2PHOENIX

The three of them had made it to the top of the Seventh Floor landing when Hermione Granger came sprinting past them.

"What's wrong with her?" Asked Susan. "She looked terrified."

"Maybe we should listen in on what she says to the boys?" Said Hannah.

Link had to concur that was an excellent idea. His limited knowledge of Harry told him that the boy liked to talk a lot about his problems to his friends.

He ran on ahead and led the girls to a classroom outside Gryffindor Tower. Thanks to his regular excursions in the castle he knew the place well both inside and out. The ledges on the outside of the castle were dangerous but a certain courageous Deku Scrub who knew what he was doing had explored them well. The classroom window was adjacent to that of the Gryffindor Common Room.

Once in, Link shut the door behind the girls and then opened the classroom window, the one in Common Room was now open all the time due to the highly un-Scottish summer everyone was enjoying.

"…will the cloak fit all three of us?" Came Ron's voice. It was a bit muffled but Link's trio could what the other trio were saying.

"Three?" Came Harry's voice.

"We're going with you Harry." Said Hermione. "We're in this together."

"But if we get caught, you could be expelled." Said Harry.

"I won't get expelled." Said Hermione. "Professor Flitwick told me in confidence I got 130% on my exam. There is no way they are expelling me after that."

"So what's the plan mate?" Asked Ron.

"We go down the trapdoor." Said Harry. "Tonight!"

After that, there was nothing more to listen to. So Link and his girls went downstairs to dinner.

"130%?" Said Hannah incredulously. "How the heck can anyone get 130%?"

"Well Granger has worked hard, there is no denying that." Said Susan reasonably.

Link in the meantime was focusing on Harry's words and those of his friends. They were on to something and were heading down a trapdoor. Link had been up and down Hogwarts and seen no evidence of a trapdoor.

Could this be the lead he'd been waiting for? There was only one thing for it. He would have to follow Harry as he went out that night.

ORACLE2PHOENIX

Susan and Hannah must have realised what Link was thinking.

"We want in." Said Susan. "If Harry's in trouble I can contact my Aunt and get her to help him."

"We know you're going after him." Said Hannah. "We're going with you."

Link didn't bother arguing. He knew it would be pointless. After the incident with the troll he was aware they would not let him go on a mission like this without them again. He dreaded how they'd react if they discovered what he had done in Cornwall, or even in the Forbidden Forest half the times he went in. Susan and Hannah were prone to worrying about him.

Navi was irritated of course. Missions were her opportunity to come out of Link's hat and join him in battle. Then again if the mission was to follow Harry, she would probably have to remain hidden anyway.

"Honestly I hate hiding in your cap. I want out, I want action, why did I even decide to hide myself, you've drawn enough attention for the both of us.

The three of them waited in the unused classroom outside Gryffindor Tower, during which time Link had pulled off his school robes revealing the Kokiri garb he had worn for so long. Hannah and Susan thought it was odd, but kept their thoughts to themselves. If Link didn't want to wear uniform for a late evening adventure, that was fine with them.

It took a few boring hours and it was getting dark outside by the time it happened, but they heard the Fat Lady's portrait open and shut. They waited half a minute before they looked out. But they couldn't see anyone there. Yet there was the distinct sound of footsteps down the corridor.

"Where…" Began Susan.

Link grabbed her arm and then held a finger to her lips. He then pointed down the corridor and held up a device that neither Hannah, Susan nor any other witch or wizard had ever seen before. The Lens of Truth.

Gazing through it they saw Harry, Ron and Hermione walking down the corridor underneath some kind of material, like a blanket or a cloak. Whatever it was it was keeping them invisible.

Carefully one trio followed the other all the way down to the Forbidden Corridor.

Link was confused, he'd checked this part of the castle and had found nothing but a lazy three headed dog. Though admittedly when he checked before, the door it was behind was locked.

"Snape's already been here." Said Harry.

Link, Susan and Hannah were squatted behind an unlit torch trying to see.

"I won't need the cloak, you both can go back now if you want." Said Harry.

"Not a chance." Said Ron.

"We're in this together Harry." Said Hermione. "We've come this far and we're going forward together."

Link was not sure it was wise for the three of them to enter the room with the Cerberus, just in case it was awake. However when they opened the door the creature was obviously sleeping, Link could see it from the torch. Unfortunately Hannah and Susan saw it as well, and screamed.

"AH!"

"AH! What's that?"

Harry, Ron and Hermione whirled around and drew their wands. Link in response drew his shield and sword, ready for battle.

"What are you three doing here?" Demanded Harry angrily, as Ron closed the door with the Cerberus behind him

"What are you three doing here?" Said Hannah in response. "This is the Forbidden Corridor."

"You followed us?" Said Hermione glaring at Link.

"Just like Neville?" Said Ron, though the way he said sounded like he was suggesting something. Something Hermione understood.

"Petrificus Totalus!" She incanted.

Link batted the body-bind away with a single shield attack, causing it to impact the floor in front of Harry.

"Hey!" Said Susan angrily. "Locomotor Mortis!"

Her spell hit Ron who stumbled and fell over, his legs bound.

"Stop." Said Harry. "Everyone stop."

He pointed his wand to the floor, aiming away from any person.

"Link. Can you come with us? We don't have time to explain, but the fate of the Wizarding World is at stake." Said Harry almost pleadingly. He held out his hand. "Please."

"Do you really expect us to buy that hogwash?" Said Hannah. "This isn't a comic book you know."

"Link. Please help us?" Said Harry.

+ Yes

No

Link could see the look in Harry's eye. The boy was brave, and there was a yearning need to face whatever was ahead.

Out of respect for the boy's courage, Link sheathed both sword and shield and took Harry's hand in friendship.

"Link?" Said Susan questionably.

Link however turned to look at Susan, his face told her he knew what he was doing.

"Finite!" Hermione incanted on Ron.

"We don't need them Harry." He said defiantly. "We can do this ourselves."

"Ron, Snape is very dangerous." Said Harry. "The troll proves that, and unlike us Link has fought in battle before."

"Snape was responsible for the troll?" Said Hannah.

"Yes." Said Harry. "Come on, before Filch pays this area a visit."

Harry looked to his friends, his face asking if they were still with him. They nodded. Hannah and Susan nodded to Link. It was a hastily made alliance, but there just wasn't time to consider anything else.

"Try not to scream this time please?" Said Hermione, in a voice that tried not to sound unkind.

The six of them carefully entered the room of the sleeping Cerberus. Link had met the Cerberus before and knew it slept when music was played. As it started to rouse, Harry reached for the Flute Hagrid gave him for Christmas. But Link got out the Ocarina of Time and played:

Goron's Lullaby

The creature rolled over and began snoring, his sleep as deep as could be. He was not going to wake up any time soon.

Everyone looked at Link as he put his Ocarina away.

"You're full of surprises man." Said Ron. "I thought that thing was only good for calling ponies."

Link said nothing. As far as he was concerned what the Ocarina of Time was capable of was no business of Ron or anyone else present. Unbeknownst to Link though the true magic of his music would be unveiled before the sun rose.

Hermione and Hannah lifted the trapdoor up with the help of Harry. The passage was completely dark and no one could see what was at the bottom.

"Want to go first Hermione?" Said Ron.

"No I don't!" Said Hermione sounding irritated.

"Right I'll go first." Said Ron. "See you in a minute… I hope."

"Maybe…" Began Susan, but Ron ignored her and jumped down anyway.

Hannah gasped and Link saw Harry clench his fists in worry. There was but a couple of seconds silence before Ron called up.

"It's ok, it's a soft landing, you can jump."

Harry and Hermione went first. Susan and Hannah looked at Link.

Link for his part just went down ahead.

"This is insane." Said Hannah.

"Yeah." Said Susan. "Link… and those three they're crazy."

"You going down?" Said Hannah.

"Of course." Said Susan.

"I was afraid you'd say that." Said Hannah

"Link's gone and we've come this far." Said Susan.

She held out her hand, Hannah took it and the two of them went down together.

ORACLE2PHOENIX

"Help!" Called out Hermione. "I know what this is, it's a devil's snare."

"Next time I'll pay more attention in Herbology." Said Ron simply.

Both of them were completely rapped in the plants vines, Harry's arms and legs were already restrained and Link was fighting off the plant ferociously with his sword but he was only holding it back, no more.

Susan and Hannah were confused by the situation when they landed, and that confusion meant that they two were wrapped up.

"Link help!" Called Susan.

Link saw his friend in jeopardy.

"Someone fry this thing, it's a plant." Shouted Hannah.

Link quickly looked around him as he swung his sword everywhere. The plant took up the entire chamber beneath the trapdoor. It made up the carpet and most of the walls. But there was still stone underneath. Link would have to get it all.

He sheathed his sword then, with very quick motions, Susan, Hannah, Harry, Ron and Hermione witnessed another of Link's amazing talents. He punched forward through the air with his right hand, swinging his left back before swinging it down and punching the ground. In doing so he unleashed the power of one of the three Goddesses.

The Fire of Din.

A dome of fire emerged from Link's floor punch and expanded outwards surrounding the Hero of Time. As it did so every part of the Devil's Snare within that immediate dome was burnt to ash. The dome remained stationary around Link for but a second, as if it was showing off itself off, before moving outwards again. The remains of the Devil's Snare were incinerated.

The rules regarding Link's magic meant that his allies were not hurt by his move. His friends, Hufflepuff and Gryffindor alike stood up and allowed the burnt remains of the plant to fall off.

Ahead Link saw a passageway that seemed to lead in the general direction he needed to go. He ran towards it and had made it up the first five steps before he turned to see his friends were still standing stunned.

"Come on!" He shouted.

Everyone blinked out of their stupor. The rarity of hearing Link speak was enough to get everyone back to reality.

"Weird guy." Ron said simply.

"He is one of a kind." Remarked Susan.

"Come on." Said Harry calmly, almost relaxed.

He was heading into danger, he knew that Voldemort and Snape were up to no good. When he left his Common Room earlier that evening he understood that his chances weren't great. But Link, Link had to Harry what he had done to so many others, in Hyrule and in Termina. Yes they were likely facing up against Voldemort, but Harry's new friend and ally gave him hope.

ORACLE2PHOENIX

When they entered the next room, there were a number of flying keys hovering above the chamber, as well as three broomsticks hovering in the middle of the room as if waiting to be used.

"The door." Said Hermione.

Ron walked over first, wand drawn. "Alohomora!"

He tried to turn the handle on the door, but it didn't open.

"Alohomora!" He incanted louder.

It still didn't work.

"Oh well, worth a shot."

"Arh!" Growled Hermione. "What are we going to do, there must be thousands of them?"

"It must be really old." Said Ron. "And probably rusty like the handle."

"There." Called out Harry. "The one with the clipped… Link what are you doing?"

Link was not interested in flying. He preferred horseback. In any case magically locked or not, it was just a door.

Harry recognised one of Link's bombs as the boy in green put it down.

"Get back everyone!" Shouted Harry.

Everyone retreated to a safe distance just in time as the bomb exploded and the door was shattered to pieces.

"Or we could just do that." Remarked Ron.

"Link, please be careful." Reasoned Hannah.

"Yes no more bombs ok." Pleaded Hermione.

"Grr." Growled Navi from inside Link's cap. "Don't these people know anything about trawling through temples? Sometimes you need to blow stuff up, isn't that right Link."

Link for his part just walked on, he gave neither Hermione nor Navi any attention regarding their differing viewpoints.

"What the?" Said Susan as she looked around.

"Is this a graveyard?" Asked Harry.

"This is no graveyard." Said Ron. "It's a chess board."

It soon became apparent that the objective was to play oneself across the room as if they were the chess piece.

"Now don't be offended but none of you are good at… Link stay back I need to think, we can't all go on the chess board." Said Ron.

Link however had no idea how to play chess. As he approached the board, one of the pieces challenged him by raising its sword.

"You must play to cross." Came an eerie voice from the piece. Link was having none it though. He drew his sword and smashed it against the stone sentinel.

However his blade merely bounced off. What followed was not what Ron or any other player of the game would consider chess. Every piece, both black and white began advancing on Link. The Kingsman, incidentally the piece Link struck first, swung his sword and sent Link flying.

He landed at Susan's feet.

"Link!" She cried out in shock.

Link got back up and charged at the stone swordsman again. The white chess piece was still the nearest, thus the most dangerous to Link and his friends. He whacked it heavily some more. But dealt out no significant damaged.

"Flipendo!" Incanted Harry.

The red sparks dissipated on contact with chess piece, seemingly having less impact than the sword strikes.

Link was sent flying again, this time landing on top of Hermione.

"Ow!" She groaned but got back to her feet as Link rolled off her.

Link held his sword and shield up, read for another fight. There was no need to charge forward this time, the white Kingsman and the other pieces not far behind him, right up close.

"Maybe we should go back." Suggested Hannah.

Link tensed ready for another fight.

"Link, no. You're not strong enough." Begged Susan, tears streaming down her face.

That was it. Link needed to be stronger. This fight needed to be fought by a different kind of hero. Link sheathed his shield and sword and took the Goron Mask.

"Link what's that for?" Susan was able to say just before the boy put it on his face.

With the mask on, Link transformed into the Goron Champion Darunia. Time seemed to stop for Link as he stood at a height that matched the foes he faced. Even the enchanted chess pieces seemed to stop in confusion at Link's sudden transformation.

The Kingsman was just able to raise his sword again before Link the Goron punched him. As the Kingsman flew back, he impacted several other pieces along the way.

Link, taking the initiative rolled up close to the pieces then used the Goron's pound attack. He significantly damaged several with his first bounce, his second bound shattered a good half dozen of them. There were still 23 pieces left, by this stage the black pieces had merged with the white and they were bunched together ready to fight off Link as a team. Big mistake.

Link rolled back towards his friends and then turned to face the enemies. He then took out the Powder Keg he had brought from Termina. Up until recently he had been reluctant to use it, because he wasn't sure he could get a replacement, but thankfully he now knew a Business Scrub that sold them.

The powder keg landed in amongst the first ranks of the chess pieces. Link pulled off his mask and turned back into a human. He then forced his friends back towards the doorway they had just come through. With sufficient distance gained, he about turned, drew out his bow and an arrow, aimed and fired.

The arrow passed through the legs of a Knight and struck the Powder Keg. None of the pieces survived.

The explosion sent bits of rock flying everywhere, the entire chamber became foggy with dust and there was an unsettling rumble not that unrepresentative of an earthquake. When the dust cleared the entire room was covered in stone dust, the black and white chess board was now nothing but a distinctive scorch mark and there was no trace of the 32 pieces, save for a few lumps of stone littered here and there around the ground.

For the third time in as many minutes, everyone was stunned by what Link had just done. Hermione all of a sudden jumped on him and pulled him into a very tight cuddle.

"Thank you, oh thank you. You saved me from the troll, oh thank you." Hermione rambled very quickly.

"Link…" Said Susan simply. "You can turn into a Golem?"

Link shook his head.

….

"Goron?" Susan tested. "I've never heard that name before."

Link sighed and beckoned everyone to follow him.

The next chamber was rather unremarkable, save for the dead and foul-smelling troll. Afterwards however they found themselves in a smaller room with the door they came in and the door ahead suddenly blocked by magical fire.

"We need to drink the correct potion in order to advance." Said Hermione.

"Which is the correct one though?" Said Ron.

"Doesn't matter there isn't enough for everyone to get some." Said Harry. "Link? There isn't anything you can do is there?"

Link for his part was confused as to why everyone thought it necessary to drink a potion. As everyone who has ever played a video game knows, there is one sure way to put out a fire, stand on the correct switch. In absence of a switch however he opted for the second most obvious option.

Link pulled out his wand and incanted "Ha!"

The spell he cast was of course: Aguamenti the water charm. It took a few minutes before the fire completely died down but eventually it was gone.

"Huh." Pondered Hermione. "Why didn't I think of that?"

"Well come on, Snape should be just ahead." Said Harry. "Snape's test was the last one."

Everyone looked around and nodded to each other. This was the moment. They made their way through the passage. Only they didn't meet Voldemort, they didn't even meet Snape.

"You?" Said Harry.

Professor Quirrell turned around and smirked. "Me."

"But where's Snape?" Said Ron.

"Severus?" Laughed Quirrell. "Yes I suppose he does seem the type doesn't he? Next to him who would suspect poor stuttering Professor Quirrell."

"But Snape tried to kill Harry at the Quidditch match." Said Hermione. "I saw him casting the curse."

"That was a counter-curse you ignorant Mudblood." Snapped Quirrell. "I was the one trying to kill Potter. I almost got him too."

"You were trying to kill Harry?" Said Susan in shock.

"You knew about that?" Said Ron looking accusingly at Susan.

"Yeah, Susan figured out that only the teachers would know a curse like that so Link reflected the sunlight at the teacher's stands with his shield."

"WHAT!" Roared Quirrell. "You foiled me." He pointed an accusatory finger at Link.

Link for his part stood there and scratched the back of his head. He wasn't sure what was going on, but these people were talking, if he let them continue then maybe someone would let slip where the mask was. Then Link would destroy it.

"Why have you been trying to kill Harry?" Demanded Susan.

"Because he is a danger to my plans and to my master, that has been evident, especially since Halloween." Declared Quirrell.

"Then you let the troll in." Said Hermione. "That was incredibly dangerous, I was nearly killed."

"You will die in time Mudblood." Sneered Quirrell.

"Shut up." Snapped Susan. "You're in big trouble now… my auntie…"

Susan's threat died away however when a loud cackling laughter filled the room.

"The Bones family is nearly gone. Your Aunt Amelia shall die by my forces little girl."

"Wh… what was that?" Said Hannah her voice quivering.

"It… can't be…" Trembled Ron. "He's really here."

"Voldemort." Said Harry.

Link looked to the other Gryffindor, he was holding up better than the others but he seemed far more scared all of a sudden than a few seconds ago. The Hero of Time walked next to the Boy Who Lived.

"What do you mean?" Said Susan panicking. "You-Know-Who has been dead for ten years."

But the voice answered Harry's declaration.

"You seemed to have worked things out after our little meeting in the forest." Said the voice more creepily. "I am impressed. Let me see them face to face."

"M… master you're not strong enough…" Said Quirrell, unsure of Voldemort's request.

"I… have strength enough for this." The voice said.

Quirrell unwrapped his turban from his head. Once it was off Link, Harry and the others could see the reflection in the mirror. There was a face in the back of the Defence Professor's head.

"Harry Potter, we meet again."

"No…" Said Hannah. "I can't believe it. It really is You-Know-Who."

"But how… my Aunt said you were defeated." Said Susan.

"He's back." Said Harry. "He came here to steal the Philosopher's Stone."

"My, he has been busy." Said Voldemort. "I suppose the loose tongue of Hagrid is to thank for that, he never could keep his trap shut."

"What's going on?" Said Hannah. "What's the Philosopher's Stone?"

"It is the tool of my return." Said Voldemort. "Once I take the stone I shall regain my former powers and the Wizarding World shall bend to my will."

"No." Said Susan. "This must be a nightmare."

"That's why we've come." Said Harry. "Someone's been trying to break into this area for some time."

Link turned abruptly to look at Harry, the conversation so far had been a little dull. But was Harry really suggesting?

"This pathetic array of traps was designed to keep the stone from me." Cackled Voldemort. "This is the last chamber, the stone is hidden here somewhere.

Link gasped, he looked form Harry to Voldemort. These traps were designed… to protect a stone…

… … … … …

"Link what is it?" Said Ron, despite his fear he was really confused by Links look of complete shock and disbelief.

"No this can't be right." Came a new voice.

"AAHHH!" Screamed Hermione as a pink bob with wings emerged from Link's cap and moved around the immediate area.

Navi and Link were taking no note of the fact that the former had made her presence known after nearly a year of hiding in the latter's cap.

"Right enough is enough where is it?" Demanded Navi.

No one answered. Despite encountering Voldemort in such a place, everyone, including the fallen Dark Wizard himself, was staring at the peculiarity in complete and utter perplexion.

"Where is the mask?" Demanded Navi desperately.

"M… mask…" Stuttered Quirrell, reverting back to what was supposed to be a charade.

Navi rounded on the Defence Professor flying within a metre of his face. "The mask, the mask, Majora's Mask. The dark and dangerous object you, Dumbledore and the black centaur conspired to hide in the castle."

Quirrell regained his focus on events. "There is no mask hidden here you splotchy brat. This entire series of protections was set up to protect the Philosopher's Stone. I helped to set them up."

He fired off a curse that barely missed Link's faithful companion. She flew back around and settled herself just in front of Link but facing Quirrell and Voldemort. She was not happy.

"ARE YOU TELLING ME, AFTER AN ENTIRE YEAR OF TRAWLING THROUGH THIS OVERSIZED COTTAGE, CHECKING AND TRIPLE CHECKING EVERY ASPECT, PUTTING UP WITH THE NAGGING OF THAT OLD CROW AND THE CONSTANT ATTEMPTS TO STEAL OUR WEAPONS, THAT MAJORA'S MASK ISN'T EVEN HERE?"

Voldemort sneered. "Keep your infernal rantings to yourself you blethering cretin. The stone is mine and I will not let any of you live to interfere."

"Humph. You talk tough, but you look a little worse for wear. We've beaten up far uglier things than you so if you wanna live, you'd better watch your mouth." Sneered Navi.

"I am Voldemort, I have mastered magic unlike any other. A pathetic child's pet is not going to stand in my way." Voldemort Sneered back.

"PET!" Screeched Navi. "Oh that does it. Link, skewer him. Now!"

Quick as a flash, Link drew an arrow.

"No Link." Pleaded Hermione. "You're no match for him."

Link ignored Hermione and released the arrow.

Quirrell flicked his wand lightly and the arrow was batted to the floor. "Pathetic." He Sneered.

"You're fighting against wizards now, not cattle." Sneered Voldemort. "Why not try using some magic."

Needless to say Voldemort very much regretted giving that particular advice.

Link charged another arrow into his quiver, but this one was glowing blue.

"What the…" Voldemort managed in a much quitter voice than normal, before the arrow was unleashed.

Quirrell threw up a shield charm which stopped the arrow but had the side effect of freezing the shield solid.

Link rapidly sheathed his quiver and pulled out the Goron Mask again. By the time Quirrell was able to shatter the ice barrier, a heavily spiked Goron was heading towards him at incredibly high speed.

Quirrell moved to get out of the way, but Link was still able to bash him across the floor. Link turned to strike again, but Quirrell fired off a hex that knocked him to the ground.

Link got up off his feet and pulled off the mask.

"So you're the one who's been causing that meddlesome headmaster all that chaos." Sneered Quirrell. "You have shown yourself to be a gifted warrior but you fight like an antiquated muggle. You are no match for a wizard, particularly one of my skills."

"I am so sick of hearing his voice Link." Snapped Navi. "Take him out."

QUIRRELLDEMORT:

The man with two faces

While everybody simultaneously imagined a short musical prelude to Link's battle with the boss… I mean Quirrell and Voldemort… the two (three?) opponents squared off against one another.

Navi

(^)

"Hey!" Shouted Navi. "Listen. The amalgamation of Quirrell and some ugly bloke with no nose, Quirrelldemort. I'm not sure how to kill one of these things, strike where you can and see if you can find a week spot."

Link locked on with Z-targeting. He used this to keep an eye on his enemy as he began squaring off.

"Get lost you stupid splotch!" Growled Quirrell batting Navi away. "Avada Kedavra!"

"NO!" Screamed Susan.

The curse hit Link's Mirror Shield and rebounded back at Quirrell who only just managed to dodge it.

"What?" Said Susan.

"Impossible!" Said Quirrell.

"That shouldn't be possible." Agreed Hermione.

Link however, unaware that he was supposed to be incapable of reflecting the Killing Curse, drew out an arrow and fired. Quirrell, shocked by his failed attack, didn't react in time and took the arrow in his shoulder.

"ARGH!" He growled loudly.

He fired off a series of Blasting Curses. But Link side stepped them and ran straight at the man. Another Blasting Curse was incanted.

"Expulso!"

Link shielded himself, but was still knocked off his feet.

"Circumdatos!"

Link rolled over to avoid the Cutting Curse and got back to his feet.

"Expulso!"

Link jumped to avoid that attack, and a second but as he got closer to Quirrell, he got knocked back again.

"Expulso!"

Once more Link landed on his back.

"Circumdatos!"

He rolled out of the way to avoid the Cutting Curse again.

And this process kept repeating itself. Link couldn't get close enough to use his sword. So he tried firing more arrows but Quirrell just shielded himself. Even magic arrows failed to impact. Now that he knew what the blue flash did, Quirrell merely broke the ice barrier apart the millisecond it formed. Link couldn't follow through fast enough.

"Link's going to die, we're all going to die." Cried Ron.

Navi

(^)

"Hey!" Called Navi. "Listen! This guy's quick. You can't get close enough to use your sword. Try and see if you can use one of your other weapons to at least stop him for a second or so."

"Your friend is about to die Harry Potter." Mocked Voldemort. "Watch him fall. You will be next. I have full faith in my servant."

"Oh no, oh no, oh no." Cried Hannah.

"Come on Link!" Shouted Harry encouragingly.

"Yeah come on Link." Shouted Susan, though much less enthusiastically.

Link steeled himself.

"Avada Kedavra!" Incanted Quirrell.

Link swung his sword and bashed the spell into the floor. He then charged.

"Ignorant fool." Sneered Quirrell.

"Expulso!"

Link evaded each spell, one after the other, and once he got as close as he could.

"Expulso!"

Link rapidly smacked the Deku Mask onto his face. In doing so he transformed into the Deku Scrub, one of the most ugly and pathetic looking creatures in Termina. In doing so however, Link shrunk to half his size and the Blasting Curse flew over him.

"What the bloody hell is that!" Exclaimed Ron incredulously, forgetting his own fear.

Quirrell was stunned by what was before, but only for a mere second. However that second was too long, before he could incant again Link used a Deku Nut. Frozen momentarily, Quirrell was powerless to stop Link trotting oddly up to him and he was also powerless to stop him from attacking. The spin of the Deku Scrub was not the most powerful attack Link had, but it was enough to draw blood from Quirrell.

Link completed his attack then transformed back into his usual self. He began swinging his sword, but Quirrell waved his wand using it to fling himself across the room and out of Link's reach.

He then twirled his wand a few times before unleashing a never-ending flamethrower. Link ducked behind a stone pillar to protect himself, but he wasn't going to be safe there for long.

Fire spread around the whole room, Link's friends also began to feel the heat.

"Maybe we should get out of here?" Said Ron.

But he and the others had barely glanced at the door before the magical fire Link put out returned, once more blocking the door.

"No one is leaving Weasley." Cackled Voldemort.

Harry tried spraying water at the fire but it had no effect. There was too much magic fuelling this particular conflagration for a simple water charm to dispel it.

Link ran from the pillar he was taking cover behind, to take cover behind another pillar, one that wasn't beginning to give way to the extreme heat. As he ran, Quirrell kept up with him, but only just. Link noticed this, and decided it was time to put on a different mask.

Donning the Bunny Ears Mask was a strange thing to do in the eyes of both Link's friends and his enemies. However the magic of the mask allowed Link to truly sprint.

Quirrell was not able to train his flamethrower fast enough to compensate for Link's speed. So Link ran around the room, edging closer and closer to his enemy. When he was behind Quirrell and approximately 3 metres away, Link stopped hard, Quirrell cancelled out his spell and turned to fire on the Hero of Time, the Killing Curse, as said hero ran forward.

"Avada Kedav…"

"YAH!"

Link's jump attack prevailed. He sliced off his enemy's wand arm. Then he followed through with a trio series of attacks.

"Huh! Wha! Huh!" Before following through with a fourth, horrific stab in the heart. "YAH!"

For a few seconds Link stood there with the Sword of Gryffindor impaled right through Quirrell's chest, the tip plus a foot sticking out his back, a look of shock and horror across the defeated Defence Professor's face.

"He did it?" Said Harry, relief in his voice.

With one more great attack Link destroyed Quirrell. Focusing his magic, he unleashed an instantaneous Great Spin attack. The magic combined with the sword swing obliterated what remained of Quirrell's body and smashed the pieces of his corpse very hard against the opposing wall.

"Wow!" Said Ron.

Link used the moments silence to swing his sword playfully before sheathing it.

"Amazing." Said Susan. "You defeated him."

"Hey that mirror?" Said Harry running forward, having just recognised the Mirror of Erised. "This must be where the stone is hidden."

Hermione then suddenly screamed and pointed towards what remained of Quirrell. A ghostly figure rose up from the remains of its former servant. The face was distinctive.

"It's his second face again!" Shouted Navi.

Link redrew his sword ready to fight but the wraith charge down at Harry. Before anyone could do anything it entered him.

Harry screamed and fell to the floor.

"Harry?" Cried Hermione, "Harry, Harry." She was the first to reach him. But she had to recoil almost immediately as the wraith jumped out of him.

It bounded across the floor a few times, bouncing almost like a beach ball.

"YAAH! THE PAIN, THE PAIN."

It reared itself up and Voldemort glared down at Harry's now unconscious form.

"So you are still protected Potter. It may hurt more than anything, but I will be there for your death. DIE!"

It bounded straight back for Harry.

"NO!" Shrieked Hermione, getting up to block Voldemort.

"Harry, Harry." Came a new and urgent voice.

Dumbledore had entered the room, but he could not stop Voldemort in time, not for lack of ability. Link just got there first.

One metre from Hermione's blocking form, a golden light exploded from the projectile Link had fired at the creature. The Arrow of Light caused Voldemort a new but equally unpleasant kind of pain to that of being in contact with Harry Potter caused.

The wraith was thrown across the floor. It managed to right itself and stand up, in whatever manner a wraith would consider standing up, but Link had reloaded. His second arrow caused just as much pain as the first.

Voldemort collapsed on the spot, screaming ever louder.

Link walked slowly towards this persistent enemy and drew another arrow and fired again.

"YAAHHH!" The intensity of Voldemort's scream from pain was incomparable. Yet the wraith managed to right himself in order to once more charge at Link. Link however halted Voldemort's advance, using his sword as a barrier. It was apparent that Voldemort was trying to mow through Link like a drill but Link's magic was too strong. The Triforce of Courage glowed on the back of Link's hand, a sign of the magic he was managing to channel through the Sword of Gryffindor.

With one immense swing, Link slashed through the wraith. Voldemort had no physical presence, other the dark visual spectral form he was presenting at the moment. But the magical power of the Triforce of Courage back across the floor of the underground chamber.

The pain was beyond what Voldemort could handle, he was losing himself. He was immortal thanks to the dark magic within him, but there was a difference between immortality and invincibility. If Link or Dumbledore for that matter inflicted not much more than a little pain on him, he would lose control of his miserable deathly form.

With no other option he fled.

ORACLE2PHOENIX

Dumbledore arrived in time to see the wraith of Lord Voldemort attack Harry Potter. He had arrived with the intention of saving Harry from the schemes of the fallen Dark Lord and Professor Quirrell, his apparent servant. However as it turned out, Voldemort had a new enemy that was perfectly capable of fighting back.

Link was an oddity, but Dumbledore knew he could fight more capably than most. Still seeing him overwhelm Voldemort, even weakened and without his full power, was an impressive sight.

"Professor Dumbledore, thank goodness you're here, Harry…" Said Susan.

Dumbledore focused on the matter at hand, Harry had been mortally struck. He would die soon unless he received immediate medical attention.

"Hurry we must get him upstairs." Said Dumbledore. He conjured a stretcher and guided Harry back towards the door. "Come everyone." Dumbledore ordered, but his eyes were on Link who, along with his faithful companion was rather pissed off.

Nether the less they followed.

"I don't believe it, how could we be so stupid." Grumbled Navi venomously, not really caring that much that an 11-year-old boy was on the verge of death. "A year, a year. No wonder monsters have been appearing in other places. We haven't been going after the mask we've been wasting our time."

Link, perhaps because he forgot to take off the bunny ears, was walking faster up ahead. However it was more likely because he was cross. There was something dark and mysterious around the school, but the dark forces plotting and scheming evil deeds were part of an evil conspiracy that had absolutely nothing to do with Link, Majora's Mask, Kentauro, or anything Hylian or Termanian.

"Link?" Said Susan.

"Don't talk to us." Snapped Navi. "Let's just get the heck out of here."

When they got to the chamber with the burnt-out remnants of the Devil's Snare, Link aimed his Hook-Shot upwards at the trap door. Fluffy growled at the sight of him.

"Mr Link!" Dumbledore called up in concern.

But Link played on his Ocarina:

New Wave Bossa Nova

The Cerberus fell back asleep.

Dumbledore got himself and the other five students out of the trapdoor using his own magic.

"Everyone accompany me to the Hospital Wing." Ordered Dumbledore.

Link glared at the Headmaster before following. Dumbledore in the meantime conjured a silver animal from his wand and sent it off, in what Link assumed was some sort of messaging system.

They arrived at the hospital wing, where Dumbledore placed Harry on a bed and began incanting magic.

Navi and Link in the meantime were having discussion, albeit a one-sided one.

"It wasn't here, and it wasn't in those woods down south." Said Navi. "We need to find where he went."

Madam Pomfrey burst into the Hospital Wing, followed by McGonagall and Sprout.

"What happened!" Demanded the Matron.

"It was a wraith attack."

Pomfrey stopped still for a second. But then burst to work. "Out of the way, every second counts."

"I can't believe it wasn't here, I mean there were traps protecting the… whatever it was down there…" Said Navi. "We need to leave this place and leave it soon."

Susan turned to Link and his recently revealed friend. "You're leaving? Link you can't leave."

Navi turned to glare at Susan. "Stay out of it, this is not your concern." She snapped harshly.

"This boy needs some serious healing." Said Madam Pomfrey. "I need everyone non-essential out of here now."

Link glared at the Matron. Obviously no one around here was the slightest bit competent, he was going to have to help Harry out. Again.

He moved towards the boy and pushed passed the Matron.

She was far from impressed. "Excuse me Mr Link what in the name of Merlin do you…"

Link disregarded her completely and once more took out the Ocarina of Time and played. After the first ten notes Harry's eyes opened and he screamed out loud:

Song of Healing

There was a brief pause before Link then played it. Dumbledore before had said music was a magic beyond anything wizards could normally do, however this was nothing like he had ever experienced, or even comprehended.

The Song of Healing the most hauntingly beautiful tune anybody present had ever heard. The tune carried throughout the entire castle and the piercing yet beautiful sound of the Ocarina resonated through the hearts and souls of all who could hear it. As Link played through the song, dark coloured smoke started seeping out of Harry's body and disappeared into thin air, never to harm again. But that was not all, a greyish smoke rose out from the scar on Harry's forehead. It formed the head and face of Lord Voldemort. However this was an image of the Dark Lord unlike anything anyone had ever seen.

Voldemort looked… sad. His facial expression was almost like a guilty and very upset child. Such was the power of the Song of Healing, all the malice, all the rage, all the hatred and the murderous intent was killed off before it could begin to try to surface.

The steam stopped pouring out of Harry's scar as Link finished his song and the head solidified into to a grey coloured mask that hovered above Harry's body for a few seconds, before gravity dragged it down onto his chest. Harry instinctively put his hand on the mask, in doing so his power to hurt Voldemort by pure touch reacted and the mask disintegrate into nothingness.

Everybody in the room was gobsmacked by what they just saw. The sheer shock of seeing Voldemort so vulnerable and sad was in itself overwhelmingly powerful, but Link had brought Harry back from the brink of death.

Madam Pomfrey examined him. "This isn't possible. You're fine, you have no trace of the cursed magic that infected you before. But how is this possible?"

"Mr Link?" Said Dumbledore.

Link looked at the man.

"Well?" Growled McGonagall, she was rather irritated with this particular First Year.

"Well what?" Asked Navi.

"Explain… this…" Said McGonagall.

"Magic." Said Navi.

"That is not an explanation." Barked the Deputy Headmistress.

"Well tough." Snapped Navi.

Link looked to Navi.

"What?"

He continued looking.

"Why does the nosy old cow need to know anything?"

"EX…CUSE…ME!" Roared McGonagall.

"You heard." Said Navi defiantly. "Since we've come here all you've done is demand answers from us."

"I have not even met you before." Snapped McGonagall.

"I am Navi. I'm Link's faithful companion." Said Navi. "I've been hiding in his cap since we got here."

"What?" Said Susan. "Why?"

"So as not to draw attention to ourselves, how else were we supposed to blend in as well as we did?" Reason Navi.

There was complete silence following that declaration, most people, including McGonagall herself, were looking incredulously at Link and Navi with their jaws open.

Navi turned on the spot and looked around at everyone. What had she said? She flew back to her master.

"What's going on Link? Why are they doing that weird thing?"

Link shrugged.

"Um…" Hermione trailed off. "You… haven't exactly passed through this school… unnoticed."

"We know, but there was no point in exacerbating things." Snapped Navi. "Though why you all fixate on Link's little differences is beyond me."

"What little differences?" Said Ron.

"The fact he carries a sword, a bow and arrow and all his other stuff." Said Navi. "Or the fact he rides a horse. I mean honestly is Link really so different from all of you?"

A second of silence passed before there was a chorus of "Yes!" came from all the present students and Professor Sprout.

"Headmaster what is going on?" Asked Professor Sprout. "Your message said Mr Potter and his friends had been down the Forbidden Corridor."

She glanced at her two Hufflepuff students who stared at the floor, looking worried. Link, walked over to Susan and Hannah and glared at the Herbology Professor out of protection for his friends.

"Much has happened tonight." Said Dumbledore. "However it would appear much has happened this year and a lot of it is to do with Mr Link and Miss Navi."

Navi rounded on the Headmaster. "Hey you're the idiot who made that corridor so forbidden, it's not our fault you did that. And by the way if you're not hiding Majora's Mask, what the heck is your business?"

"My dear…" Dumbledore began.

"Don't you my dear me." Snapped Navi. "You attacked us remember?"

Dumbledore frowned, he didn't know what she was talking about.

"Link, show him." Said Hermione. "You saved my life remember."

Link nodded and put on the Goron mask.

McGonagall and Sprout leapt back and although Dumbledore managed to maintain his position he too gasped at what he saw.

Link took off the mask and turned back into his Hylian body.

"It was you!" Said Sprout.

"It was him you mean!" Snapped Navi, rounding on Dumbledore. "Remember. We were about to stop that Centaur then you attacked us. Because of you we've wasted enough time here. Come on Link. Let's go try one of the other locations."

Link nodded and made to follow his faithful companion.

"Wait you're leaving?" Said Susan sounding sad.

Link nodded, determination in his eyes.

"Mr Link, wait a moment." Ordered Dumbledore.

"Oh wait yourself old man, we've got a mission to complete." Said Navi dismissively.

To McGonagall however this was inexcusable behaviour, she walked up to him and placed a forceful hand on his shoulder. "YOU ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE MR LINK UNTIL I AM SATISFIED…"

Link stopped abruptly, shoved her hand off his shoulder and then drew his sword and thrust it to within a centimetre of her throat.

"Mr Link!" Cried out Sprout in shock.

Hannah and Susan screamed, Hermione covered her mouth in shock and Ron and Harry both gasped.

"Mr Link, I would advise you to put down your blade." Said Dumbledore dangerously, he and Sprout had drawn there wands on the boy with the sword.

Link however didn't budge.

"You stupid idiots don't get it do you." Snapped Navi. "You shout first and ask questions later. That's how Kentauro got away. He has the mask."

Dumbledore frowned. "Miss Navi, I think you should explain from the beginning."

"Why so you can waste more of our time. We have wasted a year looking through this stupid cold palace looking for the mask, all because you helped out that stupid Centaur without thinking." Said Navi disdainfully.

"Miss Navi, there are Centaurs that live peacefully within our grounds, while I now accept the one you and Mr Link pursued was not a member of the neighbouring tribes at the time I assumed not unreasonably you were attacking one of Hogwarts friendly neighbours." Said Dumbledore diplomatically. "Evidentially I was wrong, if I can make amends for it I shall but please put your sword away and explain what is going on, how dangerous is this mask you thought we stole?"

Link looked up at Navi.

"What?" Said Navi. "You don't want to tell them do you?"

+ Yes

No

Link sheathed his sword and McGonagall drew a sigh of relief before sitting down on one of the hospital chairs.

"I think the rest of you should return to your dormitories." McGonagall said to the other five students. "Though if Mr Potter should remain here…"

"To hell with that." Said Ron. "I want to know what's going on."

"I'm with Ron." Said Susan. "Link may not talk but now I finally get to find something out about him. I'm staying."

Link walked back over to Hufflepuff friends and let each of them take one of his arms.

Dumbledore began conjuring puffy armchairs.

"Well Miss Navi." He said. "Since Mr Link doesn't talk, would you mind telling us about yourselves and that Centaur?"

Navi looked to Link who nodded.

"Alright." Said Navi. "Link and I come from the Kokiri Forest, in the Kingdom of Hyrule. By the blessings of the Great Deku Tree we teamed up to save Hyrule from the threat of the Demon King Ganondorf."

Navi spent a great deal of time explaining everything, Link's meeting with Zelda, the Gorons, the Zora. How he received the Ocarina of Time and retrieved the Master Sword. How he spent seven years asleep in the Chamber of Sages and how he travelled between the Future and the Past to defeat Ganon. Then she explained how Zelda sought to give Link his time back and how Link and Navi were separated from one another, leading to Link's second adventure in the land of Termina before they were reunited in the place between dimensions.

"So you understand right, Majora's Mask must be located and destroyed. This world is in grave danger so long as it is out there." Said Navi.

"How dangerous can this thing be?" Asked Harry. As Navi has not been part of Link's second adventure herself, she couldn't go into as many details regarding Majora's Mask and what happened in Termina.

"When Skull Kid got it, he was able to pull the moon down to Clock Town and destroy the world inside of three days." Said Navi. "If Link didn't have the ability to travel back in time, there is no way he could have saved everyone."

"What about this Centaur." Said Dumbledore. "What can you tell us about him?"

"Not a lot." Said Navi. "Neither of us had seen him before he stole the mask. However when we were in Cornwall…"

"THAT WAS YOU!" Said Susan suddenly and very loudly. "My Aunt has driven herself nuts trying to figure out what happened down there."

"Well that's hardly our fault." Said Navi. "Anyhow, the bandit Link killed was corrupted by the power of the mask. Before he died, he told us of how he and his men were enticed by centaur and I managed to get the name Kentauro out of him just as he went."

"Kentauro." Said Dumbledore thoughtfully. "That is not a name that I recognise at all. But if what you say is true, and the two of you are from another world, this Centaur may be as well."

"He is probably from Termina." Said Navi. "Which makes him our responsibility. Link and I need to go after him, it was our fault for not destroying the Mask, we must find it and make sure it can never do harm again. But we need to find Kentauro. There are loads of monsters here but no indication as to why, but there are high concentrations of monsters elsewhere. Such as this town called France."

In spite of everything that happened, everyone had a good chuckle.

"Miss Navi, France is not a town, it's an entire country, even bigger than Britain." Said Hermione.

"Whatever, that's our next destination. Link?" Said Navi.

Link nodded, stood up and made for the door.

"Wait!" Said Susan.

"Oh by the power of the Goddesses what now?" Growled Navi. "We've told you everything."

"We may be able to help." Said Dumbledore. "If what you say is true, then the entire world is in danger. This is our concern as well."

"What can you do?" Said Navi disdainfully.

"For starters, I will reach out to my contacts. We shall keep an eye out for this Kentauro or any evidence of his or the Mask's activities. I will also speak with Amelia Bones, she will be most interested in this development, she will likely want to help as well after what happened with Demelza Robins." Said Dumbledore.

"Aunty Amelia's going to help Link?" Said Susan. "Then I'm helping too."

"What say you Link?" Said Dumbledore. "Will you let us help you?"

Link looked at Navi and shrugged before turning to Susan and smiling.

"Fine." Said Navi. "I suppose you can help us out. For one thing we need a place to stay."

"You want me to buy you a house?" Inquired Dumbledore.

"No we want to buy a house, preferably somewhere where we can raise cows and practice horse riding." Said Navi. "But the stupid people in London won't sell anything to Link, says he needs his parent's permission."

"You don't have a home?" Said Susan, her voice sad.

"Link does, just not here." Said Navi protectively. "Look we just need somewhere private to stay. When we're not chasing down clues."

"Somewhere you can rest?" Said Dumbledore understandably.

"I believe there a number of farms nearby." Said McGonagall.

"Uhh… maybe not to nearby, the people who run them have been trying to kill Link a lot." Said Navi. "Somewhere not so close to Hogwarts."

In case you missed it I was talking about the Song of Healing.

So when I first posted chapters for this story, I used to input the ocarina directions using the arrows above the comma and full stop buttons, but the website doesn't appear to allow them to show, so I have taken to just writing the song names in bold writing.

I've closed the poll for this story. As I warned you before, that poll was only advisory and while I am aware most of you voted to keep Cedric out of the Triwizard Tournament, I have decided what I am going to do, I'm just not going to tell you. But for reasons that may or may not be obvious this had to be decided before this chapter.

Please review.
