Okay everyone! Heeeeeeeeere's Chapter 21!

I just want to say this will be the final chapter of this saga. :( I'm sorry but all I can say is that I ran out of ideas and characters, so that's why I chose to end this.

But, not to fear! I am considering doing a sequel for this story with some, but not all, of the same characters I used for the first story.

I'm just more focused on doing my other stories, and most of them are from Total Drama. Still, I will try to keep my other RS stories alive if I still have enough ideas. Sorry it's short, but I really did my best with this.

I want to thank everyone who read, reviewed, and loved this story. I want to thank Park Ryder for all her help with this chapter, and many others in the past. Not to mention all the other wonderful authors who had a hand in the help. :)

One more thing for those who don't remember: Uncle Steve is from the first story from the 2nd RS Halloween Special "Terror Tales From The Park II". And I know that season 6 premiered and we saw Mordecai's aunt next to him in"Maxin' and Relaxin'" but I'm not sure if Uncle Steve is actually married so don't ask me to change this, Okay?

And be sure to check out my other stories too. :)

Until next story, Enjoy this final chapter!

I don't own Regular Show or the characters. They belong to J.G. Quintel.

Chapter 21: Memories (Uncle Steve)

All was quiet in the house of Mordecai's uncle, Steve. He has lived alone since moved away from his parents place in high school but he always kept in touch with his brother William (two years younger), his family, and his hard working nephew, Mordecai.

Steve had nothing to do on this late Friday night, he didn't felt like going anywhere, and there wasn't anything good on TV except for reruns. He went to his shelf and pulled out something he hadn't looked at in a long time: His photo album.

"Heh. Been a while since I looked at this." he said to himself as he sat down on his couch.

Steve skimmed through some of the pictures which contained him and his brother when they were kids. After that were pictures were of his brother and his wife at the wedding, them hanging out and laughing together, and there was one picture that brought tears to his eyes.

"Oh!" he gasped, "Little Mordy!"

That's right. It was a picture of his sister-in-law holding his newborn nephew, Mordecai, with himself and his brother next to him.

"Man." Steve said to himself in a quiet voice, "This sure brings me back."

He began to remember the very day that he became an uncle.

Steve was in his car, racing through traffic because he received an important call from his younger brother that his pregnant wife was going into labor.

"Come on!" Steve said as he was driving, "Come on! Get out of my way! I have a niece or nephew on the way!"

A few short minutes later, and after receiving a ticket for speeding, Steve arrived at the hospital. He asked the nurse for the room where his brother and sister-in-law were at and, then, he went up the second floor and searched for the specific room. When he found the room, Steve went inside to see his sister-in-law, Cecilia, holding a blue bundle in her arms and his younger brother, William, standing next to his wife.

"Big brother!" William said as he embraced his brother.

"Hey bro'!" Steve hugged him back.

William lets go and places his hands on Steves' shoulders, "Are you ready to meet your nephew?" he asked with a smile.

"My nephew?" Steve said in amazement.

William nodded and led him to the hospital bed. Cecilia looked exhausted but she only smiled as she removed the blanket from the baby's face. It was a bald baby blue jay, because all baby birds are born without feathers yet, and his eyes were closed. Steve stepped closer and got a good look at his nephew.

"He's amazing." Steve said in a hushed whisper, "What's his name?"

"Mordecai. You wanna hold him?" Cecilia asked.

Steve nodded as Cecilia, carefully, handed him the newborn baby. Sitting down on a nearby chair, he held his baby nephew and felt very happy in his heart. Tears welled up his eyes when the baby, briefly, opened his eyes and smiled at his uncle.

"Hi." Steve said as he cried happy tears, "Hi there, Mordy. It's me, your Uncle Steve. I'm glad to see you."

"Mordy." Cecilia chuckled lightly, "Is that his new nickname?"

"His first nickname." Steve said as the tears fell from his beak, "It's only fair for a new uncle to give his newborn nephew a new nickname. Right?"

"Of course!" William nodded and placed a hand on his shoulder, "You should be proud."

"I am." he nodded and wiped his eyes with his free hand, "I am the happiest and proudest uncle ever."

"And we're very proud too." Cecilia smiled as her husband embraced, "Of our newborn son."

Minutes later, other relatives came to see baby Mordecai and were very happy that Willaim and Cecilia were not only a happily married couple but proud parents as well. And Steve couldn't be happier for his little brother, his sister-in-law, and his nephew.

Uncle Steve came back into reality and wiped the tears that fell from his eyes.

Flipping through the album, he saw some other pictures that reminded him of Mordecais childhood.

Two of the photos were from Mordecais first birthday party. One showed Uncle Steve tickling little Mordecai and the other was him and Mordecai with cake all over their faces (thanks to the baby blue jay of course). Another picture was of him teaching a five-year-old Mordecai how to ride a bike.

Every other picture had shown Mordecai doing something while he was growing up. From activities, birthday parties, bowling, and graduation, Steve felt very proud of his nephew and all of his accomplishments over the years. After putting away the photo album, Steve went into the kitchen and dialed a certain number on the telephone. He held it up to his head and waited until it finally answered.

"Hello?" a voice answered.

"Mordy?" Steve said, "It's me, Uncle Steve."

"Oh, hey Uncle Steve!" Mordecai said in a happy voice, "What's up?"

"Ah, nothing much." he shrugged, "Just checking on my favorite nephew. How you doing over there?"

"Good, good."

"That's good." he chuckled, "How's work?"

"Oh you know, boring one moment and you risk your life the next." Mordecai saidcasually, "You know how it is, right?"

"Uh...yeah!" Steve answered quickly, "Sure do!"

"Well, I better go." Mordecai yawned, "I have to get up early to clean the house."

"Sure, I understand." Steve nodded, "You have a good night and take it easy, okay? And Mordy?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you, kiddo." Steve smiled.

"Thanks, Uncle Steve." His uncle couldn't see it but there was a smile on Mordecais face, "I love you too. Well, goodnight!"

"Night kid!" Uncle Steve said before hanging up.

Uncle Steve, then, had himself a snack and turned in later that evening but he said a silent prayer for Mordecai and the rest of the family before falling asleep. After all, he is one proud uncle.

It just goes to show you that no matter if you're a man or woman, young or old, raccoon or blue jay, bad or good, immortal or mortal, everyone in the world has emotions. No one should hold their emotions in or it'll make you very sick or can change the way you are for good. Just let them out and you'll feel much better on both the inside and the outside.

After all, if these guys can let their sensitive side out...why can't you?
