This is unbeta'd so it can be ridden with grammatical errors. But here is the next chapter guys! Enjoy!
Previously...
His eyes went wide and now went towards Seraphina's abdomen and then looked back at her face.
"I have alot to explain," she said it while looking at him sadly.
That might have been the biggest understatement he had ever heard.
Chapter 6
Rose wanted to laugh at her own understatement. She had no idea how to get out of this one. Yet reverantly she caressed this Doctor's face. Although she loved her second Doctor, it was with him, the one in front of her did she fall in love with. She stayed with him because they are the same but still she missed him sometimes, even though technically they were the same essentially.
He looked at her adoringly and called her by her Gallifreyan name. That confirmed the doubt she had niggling in her mind. This Doctor was fresh out of the war, he hadn't meet her younger self yet otherwise he would have called her Rose not Seraphina. He recognized her by their bond. Ever since he touched her, the forgotten bond flared up upon contact and right now her mind was full of light, filled with his and their baby's. It was nothing like having the rest of the Gallifreyans and Time Lords in her head but it was better, so much better than the nothingness. She had the feeling the Doctor felt that way too. Especially him since he just came from the war, whereas she had dealt with it.
She got the feeling that she wasn't the only one feeling their baby's mind. By the look of pure shock in his face she realized that their daughter latched onto the Doctor's mind as well.
"Seraphina...what? How are you here? And you are-you are..." he looked at her helpless and speechless.
Realizing there is no way she can get out of this quickly Rose relaxed, leaned over to kiss him and then pulled back.
"Let's take this somewhere else..." she took hold of his hand and held it. The familiar gesture relaxing her.
"Take me to the TARDIS, I will try my best to explain there." Rose said it tugging his hand.
At this he looked at her in confusion.
"But Seraphina, how do you know I have a TT Type 40? I got it after you," his eyes darkened at the reminder of her past fate.
Rose blinked in realization, this Doctor had no idea that she had travelled with him. Of course he is surprised.
"Well, how else can you get here." Rose said it looking at him.
That seemed to satisfy him. He let go of her hand which made Rose frown but before she could reach out towards him again, he wrapped his arm around her waist possessively and then started walking. Every now and then he kept look at her as if to check that she really was here.
Rose took this time to observe him. He had a stubble and his hair was longer than it was when she first saw him. It wasn't cropped hair now, but long and scruffy. The only thing that made him look like himself was the worn leather jacket.
When they finally reached the TARDIS the Doctor spoke up.
"I was stuck in here for a long time during the 1950s so that's why the Chameleon Arch kind of stuck," the Doctor trailed explaining the TARDIS's outer appearance. He let go of her to open the door of the TARDIS. After that he caught her hand this time and pulled her inside the TARDIS.
The console room of the TARDIS was completely dishevelled. It was disorganised and there seemed to be debris everywhere. An aftermath of what she had been through. However, as soon as she stepped inside, the TARDIS's humm became louder and happier. She sang inside her head happily. At this her eyes went wide. Although she always felt the TARDIS in her head, she had never actually heard the TARDIS so clearly.
'Must be my telepathic abilities, I wonder if the TARDIS always knew I was a Time Lady...'
The Doctor had felt the TARDIS's greeting to her and then smiled sadly.
"She has gone nostalgic," the Doctor stated sadly. Slowly he turned towards Rose now and looked at her.
"Seraphina...what's going on? I thought you had died, but you have regenerated and you are-you are pregnant." He struggled with the last word, still finding ti hard to wrap his head around that fact.
"I am honestly not sure how much I can say Doctor..." Rose trailed looking down sadly.
"What do you mean? You won't give me any explanation?" he asked feeling hurt.
"No I...Doctor, I am already travelling with your Tenth incarnation," Rose gave in and said it. It was the only way she thought she could try and tell him.
At this he blinked and stared at her in confusion. After a while the penny dropped.
"You are already with my future self? That means that you are crossing timelines being with me..." he stated it, looking dazed.
"Yes, I kind of lost him and I was seeking him out, but you must have felt me, while I was reaching out for your future self and I brought you here instead. I am sorry..." Rose whispered the last bit looking down.
"Sorry...why are you sorry-" but he stopped midaway when he realized why she was sorry.
This was crossing timelines, he had to forget this memory of meeting her, her and their baby.
"No!" this gave him the impossible hope, that he literally was not alone anymore. His wife was alive and pregnant. His mind was filled with them. He did not want to forget that. Not now. Not ever.
He looked at her pleadingly and Rose's eyes filled up with unshed tears.
"Doctor please you have to forget. Besides I am with you, just the future you. It is you. Eventually one day you will remember this." Rose tried to reason with him.
He had to forget because when she met him, he hadn't recognised her.
"Doctor..." she said it caressing his cheek affectionately. He stared at her intently and then laid his head on her shoulder.
"So I meet you again in my Tenth incarnation?"
"No, you meet me in this body," Rose said smiling fondly, "That's why you have to go, forget this and leave me. Because there is a younger me there waiting for you."
Which was true. Although she hadn't actually known the Doctor existed and she was human, she had been waiting for something big to happen in her life and the Doctor offered that.
This answer seemed to satisfy the Doctor because he smiled slightly.
He pulled back and looked at her. Suddenly the smile vanished.
"What's wrong?"
"I am sorry, sorry that I couldn't protect you." he said it, the guilt had been eating him away.
Rose blinked and then realised how guilt ridden he actually was.
"Oh Doctor, it was not your fault. You couldn't have known!" She hugged him to try and convey that.
Using their bond, she showered him with as much love she could convey to him and he hugged her desperately.
After what felt like forever though, he pulled away reluctantly.
He let go of her and stepped away from her. Forcing himself to look away from her.
"Go," he said it in a heartbreaking tone.
With tears still in her eyes, Rose forced her feet to walk and get out of the TARDIS she longed to be inside.
