I'M ALIVE! Yes its me I am indeed back. I apologise before hand for mistakes and if the ending seems rushed because it was. Honestly i just wanted to get this over and done with but I couldn't bear to abandon it . But the writing experience was fun and I'm glad people enjoyed it.

Chapter 8
The Olympians were one again gathered in the Throne Room; Artemis was once again absent from her throne.
The atmosphere was solemn both inside the throne room and amongst the minor gods who are scattered throughout Olympus. The word had spread like wildfire through Olympus, Major and Minor gods alike retreated into their memories of their children, scanning for signs of abuse. They had never considered the idea of their children being endangered or harmed by other mortals, if Percy Jackson, the hero of Olympus, the bright cheerful and gold hearted boy fell victim to abuse, any one of their children could have also have been victimised.
The heavy silence was pierced when Hestia stepped up from her dimmed hearth,
"Perhaps it is time to change the rules, times have changed, things aren't as they used to be, mortals aren't as they used to be."
Zeus sighed and straightened up in his throne.
"And what exactly do you propose?"
"Why is it that we cannot have a choice in our children's voice? Surely we can intervene if they are subjected to such dangers and cruelty?"
"The mortals would notice! The existence of Camp Half-Blood will be endangered."
"We can step in posed as mortals! We don't have to use our powers, we can offer assistance to their mortal parent."
"IT HAS BEEN THIS WAY FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS!"
"WHAT IS TRADITION OVER THE LIVES OF OUR CHILDREN?"
Fuming, Hestia disappeared in a swirl of flames. At some point Zeus had stood up from his throne, with a glare to the occupants of the throne room he made for the ornate doors air still crackling around him.
"Discussion ends here"
Hermes made a note to bring it up again next solstice.
Blinking away the blurriness that comes with sleep Percy flopped onto his side only to be met with a waterfall of familiar auburn hair highlight by the soft light that seeped through the curtains into the dim room. The owner of the auburn locks shifted slightly and Percy made a move away from her as to not disturb her only to realise his own hand was loosely entwined with hers. His breath got caught in his throat and it stayed there, he himself unmoving as activity returned to newly awakened Artemis. Clouded eyes swivelled blearily around the room. Clarity returned with an alarming suddenness when her eyes landed on Percy who at this point completely frozen, mind working overtime trying to figure out what was the best course of action. Eventually, in the stillness, eyes had met and the stillness became concreted into the room. Percy's eyes wondered back to the connected fingers. Artemis tilted her head, glinting auburn hair cascading over her shoulders. Her eyes widened comically as she followed Percy's line of sight. Both blushing furiously the two averted their eyes and untangled their fingers.
A cough shattered the silence that permeated the room.
Percy whipped his head around with bated breath. Face red from embarrassment, Artemis looked away from his gaze.
"What, um, where are you going to go after this?"
Percy's eyebrows creased into a frown.
"I suppose I can return to camp"
"If you like, you may accompany the hunt and myself from now on"
"Really? But I'm a man"
Artemis shot a sharp glare at him, chuckling nervously he absent-mindedly tugged at his hair and averted his eyes to his lap.
Scoffing Artemis stood up with her back facing him.
"If you don't want to then-"
"I want to!"
Percy reeled back in shock and the blush that faded away returned full force. Spluttering, Percy met Artemis's eyes.
"I would love to join your company of hunters"
The corners of Artemis's lips curled upwards in complacent.
"You shall wait in front of my temple at sun down tomorrow evening understand?"
"Yes!"
In a flurry of coppery auburn hair, Artemis twisted on one foot before rushing forward and retracting giving Percy a peck on his jaw.
Percy, in a state of shock merely sat there processing the most unbelievable 4 seconds in which that had occurred.
Stomping towards the exit Artemis looked over her shoulder chin upturned.
"Not a word".
Left behind, Percy blushed like a maiden but he had a great smile on his face. He looking forward to what adventures lay ahead.
And that's all folks! :3 Bai!
