The Beach find

Sonic lay under a parasol on the beach and took it easy. It was hard to believe that there had been a storm yesterday. He saw Amy and Cream throw a ball between each other in the water. Big was sitting on a dock fishing. Tails sat next to him reading a book. Also, Knuckles was there, he was learning Tikal to swim, something she apparently could not while she was alive. He did not understand why she wanted to learn it now, but it was her business.

Sonic thought that two years ago he would not even be able to do this. He had begun to overcome her phobia of water even before he went into the cave. But still sit on a beach and sometimes swim in the ocean without starting to hyperventilate was almost impossible then. To sit by a pool was an impossibility then. But both his friends and Eggman's ability to set up a trap that involved water had helped him. He had now learned to swim and liked to swim around in the pool that tails built in their house. He was not completely healed yet, and would probably never be either. His phobia come back if he was alone on the beach, or could not see the shore when he was out at sea.

Sonic's thoughts was interrupted when he heard Cream shouting "there is someone out there." He looked up and saw what looked like a body floating on the water. Tails looked up from his book and was quickly on his feet. Knuckles had already swum and drew in the body and started giving mouth-to-mouth on whoever it was.

"She is alive but her pulse is weak," Knuckles said and turned to Sonic who just stared at the squirrel girl.

"It can not be right" exclaimed Sonic and almost threw himself on the ground. he went straight to her shoe and pulled out something so can only be described as an iPad if it was invented when computers were new. He pressed a few buttons and the Lynx turned up at the flickering screen.

"S...S...S...Sonic" the lynx said.

"NICOLE" exclaimed Sonic "what happened?"

"W... W... Water" replied the Lynx on the screen. Which continued to flicker.

"I thought you were waterproof" Sonic said

"T...T...Too much W...W...water" NICOLE said and then the screen went black.

"see if you can fix her," Sonic said as he gave the computer to Tails "now we have to help her but I do not want Eggman to know that she is here so we'll can not take her to a hospital, we take her home."

"Who is this," exclaimed Amy and took out her hammer "a secret girlfriend?"

'Shut up Amy "Sonic said. Amy dropped the hammer of shock. Sonic had never said that to here.

"You are right that she is my girlfriend, her name is Sally. I have not seen her in two years, but I've missed her. "

"The fact that she's here means that something is wrong at home" Knuckles said "she would never abandon her people."

Sonic did not reply. He threw Sally over one shoulder and took Tails in the other hand and ran home.

Tails was trying to try to fix the computer, that Sonic said was an AI called NICOLE. He had never seen such an advanced AI before and wondered where she came from. He also began to wonder about Sonic. Who was that squirrel girl called Sally. Both Sonic and Knuckles seemed to know her. Now that he thought about it he knew nothing about Sonic before they met two years ago. He had never thought about how Sonic and Knuckles knew each other and what there life was like before Sonic Team was formed.

He heard sonic come down the stairs. He used to sit at Sally's bed and just left the room for the natural needs or food.

"How's it going?" He asks Tail.

"this is very advanced stuff" replied Tails "where she got this machine"? Before Sonic replied came an electric beam from the circuit board and hit Tails who fell backwards but down on the floor. It was not the first time he had received an electric shock.

"Who call machine" said NICOLE. "I'm certainly an AI but I do have feelings"

"Hey NICOLE" Sonic said "good to have you back"

"sonic" replied NICOLE "good to hear you. although I can not see you right now"

"Tails, you can put her together again?" Asked Sonic

"only if she did not electrify me again," said Tails.
