So I decided to (wo)man up and right an ending for this story since I have been ignoring it for too long.
It's going to be pretty short since I'm just kind of wrapping it up and stuff. Sorry about that but if I didn't write it pretty short all I would be doing is writing a bunch of unentertaining crap that would be no fun to read.
So without further ado, the ending to my story!
Disclaimer: Don't own a thing.
Steve's POV
After Percy's "little" fight with Tony the demigods decided it was best for them to head home.
They said their goodbyes, leaving all of us still a little stunned at Percy's display of power. "So did I ever have a chance at fighting Percy?" Tony asked breaking the uncomfortable silence that had occupied the room since the teens left.
Thor let out one of his loud barrel laughs and shook his head. "Not even a little bit. Not only is Percy a child of the big three, he is also the savior of Olympus. You know he even gave up godhood?"
We all looked shocked at the new information and Clint frowned and asked, "Gave up godhood? Why?"
Thor's eyes turned sad there, "Godhood is not what it is made to be. Living for centuries, watching your loved ones die, being able to do nothing about it." He stated and we all frowned a bit. "I believe that is one of the reasons Percy refused, the other being he asked all of the gods to recognize their children and the minor gods so that there would not be another reason for them to rebel." We all looked confused and he elaborated. "Kronos wouldn't have had nearly as many followers if the gods had taken notice of their children."
We nodded our heads in understanding before Thor got a somewhat devious gleam in his eyes. "Though those are the official reasons her refused, there is talk of another one that was actually the main thing on his mind at the time." He said smiling somewhat evilly.
Natasha raised an eyebrow, "And what would that reason be?" she asked.
Thor's smiled widened as he said one word. "Annabeth?"
"Annabeth?" Bruce asked tilting his head a bit. "And that's a reason why?"
"At the time they weren't dating," Thor started to explain. "But he knew he liked her and that if he became a god he couldn't be with her, so he refused godhood for her."
Tony snorted while Clint smirked, "Oh he is so whipped!"
Natasha hit his arm, "Shut up, that's sweet."
"Tasha, I never knew you were such a sap." Tony teased.
He let out a yelp when she hit him in the back of his head, "Shut up Stark, not all of us can be heartless as the robots you make." She stated and he maturely stuck his tongue out at her.
"Oh admit it Natasha you love those romantic comedy's Steve makes us watch more than you let on."
Natasha didn't give away her emotions but I could tell she was somewhat embarrassed so I decided to stick up for her. "At least she didn't get beat up by a sixteen year old today."
Tony grumbled out an annoyed, "Shut up." Before we all burst into laughter.
Sometimes it was just to fun to tease Tony.
Nico's POV
After we left the Avenger's we headed straight to Percy's house where we spent the next eight hours have a Supernatural marathon to cheer him up (he was still a bit miffed about the whole Tony thing).
We managed to make a huge dent in the first season when Thalia got an IM from Artemis telling her that there was a monster that she needed Thalia to track down. So we said our goodbyes and she left to go find it.
Seeing as it was pretty late Annabeth decided that she should head home and I just decided to crash on Percy's couch since I was too lazy to go anywhere else.
The next morning I was awoken to the smell of bacon floating through the house. I quickly shot up and raced into the kitchen, excited for Sally's cooking.
She turned around when she heard me approach and greeted me with a smile, "Oh, good morning Nico. Did you sleep well?" she asked not even phased that I was here.
"Yes ma'am," I responded politely, it was kind of possible not to be polite to Sally.
"I'm glad," she turned back to the bacon. "Would you mind waking Percy up? It's time for breakfast." She said as she dished bacon onto two plates of blue pancakes.
"No prob," I stated as I raced out of the room and up to Percy's.
"WAKE UP KELP….head?" I stopped my yelling when I flung Percy's door open only to see his bed empty.
I looked around the room to see where he was only to find that he wasn't in here at all. He wasn't even in his bathroom, and not only that but his bed was still made so that meant he never got in it last night or he left really early this morning. Which was very out of character, but not impossible.
I shadow traveled to Annabeth's apartment (since she was the only reason that he would ever get up before ten besides breakfast) quite annoyed that I had to go through all of this trouble to find Percy.
"Next time you go to Annabeth's early, leave a note or something. This is annoying kelphead!" I exclaimed as I stepped out of the shadows and into the Annabeth's living room, only to see a surprised Annabeth but no Percy.
"What are you talking about Nico? Percy's not here." She said looking at me weird.
My eyes widened and I started to feel a little scared for my cousin. That was when I remembered his bed being made which meant he left early or he didn't go to bed. 'What if he didn't go to bed?' I thought.
"Then where is he?" I asked, even mores worried now.
"What do you mean Nico?" Annabeth standing up and putting the book she had been reading to the side.
I gulped. "I-I-I don't think he went to bed last night, I think he was kidnapped." I managed to stutter out my theory.
I'm sure if we were talking about anyone else Annabeth would have laughed it off and called me crazy. But we were talking about Percy and he had more enemies than you could count, each more dangerous than the previous.
Annabeth paled and looked me in the eye. "We need to get to camp."
Tony's POV
It had been a few weeks since the whole "fight" incident and all of the Avengers had moved back into Stark tower, now that we were all adults again. We hadn't heard from the demigods since then and it was weird not to be seeing our young friends anymore. This on my mind I headed to the living room to see if Clint had heard anything from them, since he was closer to Percy than I was.
I walked in to see Natasha, Steve, Bruce, and Clint watching another chick flick (Ugh *eyeroll*) with Loki sitting in the corner reading. I was about to ask them where Thor was when there was a flash of lightning and Thor appeared on the balcony, decked out in his armor.
He stumbled into the room looking paler than a ghost. Everyone else noticed him too along with his worrying expression. "How did the council meeting go?" Loki tentatively asked.
"I learned some very horrible news." He stated going over and collapsing on the couch, his expression growing darker.
Not knowing what to do I laughed uneasily, "What happened did the gods run out of grapes?" I joked weakly.
Thor turned an intense gaze on me. "It is much more serious than that Tony." He said and I noted that he didn't say friend before my name, shit just got serious.
"What is it Thor?" Steve asked and we all gulped as Thor shook his head frowning.
After a moment Thor looked up again meeting us all in the eyes before saying something that none of us were expecting.
"Perseus Jackson is missing."
And there you go, finally finished! I'm kind of sad :(
Anyway… I hoped you all liked it. Even though this chapter was kind of rushed I feel good about it and I hope you all like it.
I probably won't do a sequel but if you want to see more of my writing you should check out the story I am sort of coauthoring/helping my friend write called:
Not Alone on this Road
You will find it on My friend's profile her username is Cassiel-Angel-of-the-Lord.
