The Goblins were terrifying...or they probably would have been, if she wasn't already used to Demons, and monsters, the undead, zombies and...yeah. While most of those things she'd encountered all had really good looks, the idea was still there. Besides, not all demons looked like Sesshomaru, God of their species. She smiled at the thought. Looking around, she stared curiously as she and Snape made their way up to a Goblin. Kagome eyed the nameplate on the counter and frowned, "Um...Nag...rast? Nagrast!" The Goblin looked slowly over the counter, mean eyes and a sneer greeted her. "...hi, yeah...you don't look like you want me to be here?"
Snape rolled his eyes, "she wants to go to her vault,"
"Do you have your key?"
"My..." Kagome opened her mouth and her eyes widened as she recalled the key in the pouch, "yes, yes I do." She pulled it out and handed it to the Goblin. The Goblin took the key without much care at first, then, as if seeing it for the first time, took in the crest marked along the side of the key and dropped it onto it's desk. "Is this your key?!"
Kagome jumped and frowned, "it is, yes..."
"Her name is Kagome Lillian Gaunt, she is of the Gaunt bloodline, the proof...is the ring she carries in that pouch." Yes, Snape had seen it, he'd seen it when she'd pulled out the coins and showed them to him,, not thinking much of it till he heard her name, then it hit him. It was something you either accepted, or completely were in denial of. Though, considering the other heirs of Gaunt, she wasn't so bad.
"...very well...follow me..." he glared, as if hating the two of them for just being there. Taking them to the entrance of the vaults, he held a lamp out and led them towards a cart, ushering them both in before getting in as well, "hold this!"
Kagome did as told, but she felt as if things with this short little creature were not to be played out well if she had a slip of tongue. His attitude with her wasn't helping her resolve to keep her mouth shut, however.

'Bite your tongue, Kagome!' She glared heatedly at the goblin before her. He was pushy, arrogant, and rude...Kagome frowned, then laughed silently to herself. 'I guess, that means InuYasha would probably be a Goblin if he were a mythical creature of the wizarding world.' A pang of sadness rushed her and she felt momentarily blind-sighted by the emotion of loss before pushing it away forcefully. 'Don't think about them, Kagome...don't think about them. The jolt of the cart had her gripping the sides, fearful that she'd fall over the lip as it teetered and tottered, twisted and tumbled, down the spiraling gradient of downward tracks. Her heart was racing, her blood was rushing, and she was pretty sure she was crying now. 'I don't like this!'
Snape, who was sitting behind her, didn't look to be bothered by the odd pulling and abrupt stopping of the cart. Lucky him. By the time the cart had come to a full stop, Kagome's hair was mangled, her eyes were wild, and she wasn't breathing. She'd pulled in all the air she could at the start to keep from screaming, and hadn't let it out since. A slight nudge from behind had her exhaling and looking frightfully around the underground cavern of vaults.
"Key please,"
Shaky hands held the key out to the Goblin, and Snape guided her out of the cart, steadying her trembling body with a firm hand to her shoulder.
"What a nuisance."
She didn't respond to the complaint, she was doing good to control her labored breathing, and calm her frightened heart. However, her eyes were drawn away from the vaults around her, and towards the vault before her. Ears picking up the high pitched screech of a nail, and the churning of heavy bolt lock machinery buried within the wall, grinding against one another to move the door of her Vault. She and Snape both looked curiously within the Vault, and for a moment, she gazed on enamored by the mounds of wealth held inside. "...kami..."
Snape lifted a brow, but said nothing on the matter of her use of foreign dialect. Instead, he directed the topic to "time". To specify, the time he didn't have to waste. "If it's quite alright with you, grab what coins you think you may need, and let us be on our way. I'd like to finish my own errands before the sun sets.
Kagome blushed and nodded her head in vast understanding before walking inside. The subtle vibrations against the stone floors caused a few coins, gems, jewels and jewelry, along with many other miscellaneous artifacts, to shift a little. Taking her coin bag, it had a small hand full of coins already, she looked around and decided to grab one of the filled black velvet pouches, so not to need to revisit the hard to get to vault anytime soon, then filled the bag she'd already possessed. Turning, she gave one final cast of her eyes over her newfound wealth before leaving with the crude Goblin and Snape.
"So, do you mind if I walk around with you?" Kagome watched Snape eye her curiously as they left Gringotts behind them. "To get to know this place better!" She quickly followed up her question with an excuse. It wasn't a lie, honest. She wanted to look around, and get a feel for everything...but...she didn't want to do it alone. Some of the witches and wizards she'd seen, weren't the most kind looking by far. One literally looked like a horror story witch, wiry gray hair, hook nose, black cloak, and broomstick! Mind you, she was sweeping...but still!
"Don't waste my time with trivial chit chat, and you can stay with me."
Kagome smiled, "awesome, I'll hold you to that!"
