Clarisse stared at herself in the mirror and sighed. She wasn't as young as she used to be and yet she had just married the man she'd always loved. She wondered if he was like other older men. If he would love her for a few years then look for a younger woman who could satisfy him more. She closed her eyes and ran her hands over her body. She felt two arms circle her and grab her hands.
"Don't. I know what you're thinking."
"I can't help it Joseph. I must admit, I'm not as young as I used to be. How long will it be until you're looking for a young woman to love you?"
"Clarisse, listen to me please. When I said you were the someone I wanted to spend the rest of life with, I was serious. I will always love you. I will never want some young woman to love me because as far as I'm concerned, you are young."
"Joseph, I'm pushing sixty. There's nothing young about me."
"Your love is young and strong. I love you forever."
"Forever is an awful long time. I'd like to believe that you'll be mine forever, but that's just not realistic right now."
"Clarisse, this is our wedding night, I'd like to make it special." Joseph said as he ran his hand up and down her side. Clarisse sighed in contempt and leaned against him. "I love you, Clarisse."
"I love you too, Joseph."
"So let's make this night special, for both of us." Joseph said as he dipped in and kissed her neck. Clarisse smiled and moaned against her will. Joseph smiled against her skin. "Clarisse, I'd like to make this night special, but if you don't want to, we won't." Clarisse turned around and took his hands.
"I do, I don't know why I'm thinking about this. I know you'll love me forever and I'll love you for just as long." Clarisse gently kissed him and moved to her bed. Joseph quickly followed and they made their marriage final.
