Someone not like Uchiha/No different.

"It's wonderful, isn't it?" Sakura smiled brightly as she placed her hand on her chest, feeling for her heartbeat, "When you like someone, your heart will beat faster naturally."

Hinata followed the pink haired female's action, "Who does your heart beat for?"

Sakura looked at Hinata and laughed, "It's obvious. Sasuke-kun," she replied, her eyes softened. "It's just something about him that makes my heart beats every single time."

"What's with him?" Hinata quizzed curiously. "He doesn't seem so great to me."

"Everything. How good he look, how smart he is or the way he handles things. Everything about him," Sakura replied and squealed softly.

Hinata nodded her head slowly. "He's a very cold person."

"He's like this," Sakura sighed. "Sometimes, I just hope he will be a little nicer to everyone. That will be nice."

Hinata agreed silently as she looked over towards the stoic Uchiha who was talking to the loud blonde. She smiled when her eyes lay on the cheerful boy. He seemed much better than Sasuke.

"What about Naruto-kun?" Hinata asked curiously as she returned her gaze back to Sakura. "He's very nice."

"He's nice," Sakura admitted. "But he's a little dumb. Compare to Sasuke, he's lacking behind."

Hinata did not agree with her words. "He's nicer than Uchiha-san, definitely."

"Do you like him?" Sakura asked, a cheeky smirk appeared on her face.

Hinata shook her head as a few shades of redness appeared on her cheeks, "He's j-just nice."

"You're stuttering!" Sakura laughed, caught the little lie Hinata had made.

"No!" The blue head protested. "He's just really nice to me."

"Naruto is nice to everyone. But it's not very natural for you to like Naruto instead of Sasuke-kun."

Hinata shrugged, "I just find that Naruto-kun is nicer than Uchiha-san."

Sakura beamed, "Sure. Let's make a deal then. I'll get Naruto to go on a date with you and you'll have to put nice words of me in front of Sasuke-kun."

Hinata raised her brows, "A deal?"

Sakura nodded, "You just have to get Sasuke-kun to like me. That's it."

"I can't promise you that I'm able to do it. Plus I think Uchiha-san doesn't like me."

"No worries. You just have to say nice things about me," Sakura patted her shoulder and looked over towards the Uchiha. "I will then get you a date with Naruto."

Hinata lowered her book a little so that she could see the Uchiha. He was having his full attention on the book he was holding onto. Hinata looked away, thinking of ways to bring up the topic of Sakura.

She did not have to have a date with Naruto. Sakura was just too happy about dealing with her and assuming that she was in love with him.

Helping Sakura out did not in any way seemed harmful and in addition, if she succeeded in convincing the Uchiha to like Sakura, she might be able to get a little closer to Naruto.

She did not like him. She just preferred him to the Uchiha.

"Uchiha-san," she mumbled and pushed down the book he was holding onto.

He lifted his eyes to look at her. Impassive.

She knew she had to beat around the bushes first before asking him the question or she would be looking like another girl who was totally in love with him.

"What are you reading?"

Sasuke cocked his brow, looking at her in a confusing way. He then turned over his book to look at the title before showing it to her, "Love letters to the dead."

"What is it about?"

He looked at her, giving her the are-you-dumb-or-what look.

She caught it and nodded her head, "Yes, the title says it."

He returned back to his reading.

"I thought you will read books that are meant for geniuses," she mumbled.

"I'm a human too," he flipped a page.

"Have you written a love letter before?"

Sasuke shook his head; his eyes not once left the book.

"Have you ever thought of writing it to someone?"

He shook his head again, "It's a waste of time."

She knew it was coming to no end if she continued asking him questions and him replying her with nodding or shaking of his head.

"You're writing something every single day."

"That's simply because I'm being forced to," he let out a soft sigh before closing his book. "What? You want me to write you a letter?"

Hinata shook her head, "That's not what I meant."

He sighed again before grabbing a piece of unwanted paper that was slotted in between his files and started writing on it. Hinata stared at him as he scribbled through it.

"Here, a letter for you. Now stop asking me questions."

Love can't be found in Letters. Find it yourself. – Sasuke

Hinata stared at the paper before returning her gaze back to him, "Have you found it?"

"Found what?"

She pointed towards the piece of paper, "This. Is the answer someone I know?"

"I never said I like anyone," he snapped.

"You should," Hinata nodded to herself. "Because Uchiha-san has a lot of people who likes you."

"It takes time to find someone you really like. You don't just like someone by saying you like him or her."

Hinata agreed silently and turned away from him, "Then what do you look for in her?"

Sasuke sighed and placed his book down again, "someone who don't ask that many questions."

She nodded again, this time shutting herself up. She had no idea how to tell the stoic boy that Sakura was a wonderful woman and he really should consider her because opposites do attract. When someone was in love, they would naturally be happier and she hoped that her partner would at least put on some sort of a smile on his face, a smile like Naruto.

"Why are you asking me those questions?"

Hinata choked on her saliva.

She shrugged, "Just curious."

"I'll take that you're in love with me," he said plainly.

"What?" Hinata tilted her head a little as a small frown marred her face.

"I like girls who are quiet," he continued.

"I like guys who are like…" She paused, a small amount of redness appeared over her cheeks. "Someone who is not cold."

"Someone like Naruto?" Sasuke smirked when he caught her expression.

"N-No," she stuttered a little. "Just someone unlike Uchiha-san."

Sasuke looked at her. She was avoiding his gaze and for some reason, he felt unhappy with his words. He was annoyed at the same time.

"Neither do I like you," he replied nonchalantly and closed his book. "Let's go."

"Where?"

"To get the god damn diary."

Day 8 – Someone not the Uchiha.

He is forever unpredictable. Some days he is nice while some days he could simply curse in front of you or mock you or anything that's mean. Sometimes I really do want to know what is he thinking. Someone like Uchiha-san is not someone I will want to hang around but over time, I guess I'm pretty comfortable with his presence and sometimes I feel lost with him.

He can be a good friend but for a lover, someone not like Uchiha-san is a definite.

I just hope he can be nicer to girls and maybe in that way, girls won't be hurt so many times by his words.

Day 8 – No different.

Love can't be found in letters. She needs to stop being so traditional. The world today confesses feelings through face to face. Writing letters is too old school.

With my partner telling me that she doesn't like me clearly shows that I can't handle this assignment well or maybe it is just because of her. I thought she will be someone nice and quiet, someone who won't ask questions and questions like how one typical overly in love girl will ask their crush.

She is no different from others.

AU: I've decided to continue this story... after much thinking. Hope you guys will continue to review about this and I'm sorry for the first few chapters with my writing. I'm slowly improving so do hope to hear my mistakes here and there.
