"Tamora, I promise you, I can decorate this tree in time for Christmas and you won't even have to lift a finger!" Felix pulled out a step ladder from the other room, grunting as he tugged it alone.

"As soon as I get this darn thing out thereā€¦"

He stopped in his tracks huffing as Tamora stood with a sigh, grabbing the ladder and pulling it the rest of the way to the tree.

"There." She quickly plopped back down into her seat and Felix blushed, quickly climbing up the ladder to start putting on their assorted ornaments.

"Now, now, I know you want to help, but I owe you so much for all you did, so you are not allowed to help anymore! I'm putting my foot down on this one." He nodded to himself, smiling as he quickly added to the already enormous amounts of decorations on the tree.

"You're being ridiculous, I don't need you to do all the work for m-"

"No, no, no! I want to do all the work, it's the least I can do!" He wiped his hands off on his jeans, smiling proudly and examining his work. "I think this looks just dandy, don't you, sugarcube?"

Tamora smiled, standing up from her place on the couch, nodding slowly.

"Nice work, although you may want to consider adding a star." She added, pointing to the top of the tree.

"Oh! Silly me. Let me get that!" He hopped down, scurrying over to the box of decoration and rooting through until he found the star, buried underneath tinsel at the bottom. He raced back up, jumping up and plopping the star down on top.

"Perfection!"

"Good job, Fix It." Tamora smirked, stepping closer to him, causing Felix to blush once more.

"Do I get a kiss for doing so well?" He giggled, leaning closer to her and nudging her with his elbow.

"Of course." To his surprise, she turned, pulling him into a kiss, a smirk still apparent on her lips. Felix jumped in excitement, falling backwards onto the tree and sending it- along with himself- toppling to the ground with a loud clang.

"Oh darn it!" He pounded the ground weakly in annoyance, glancing around the shattered remains of their ornaments.

"Well." Tamora raised an eyebrow, shaking her head.

"Don't worry! I can fix it!"

He whipped out his hammer, grinning, tapping each ornament and restoring it to its once whole self. The process went on for another few minutes before the tree was standing up once more, returned to its usual glory.

"Sweetheart?" Felix muttered, holding out the star to Calhoun and smiling weakly. "Would you mind doing the star this time?"

Tamora laughed, grabbing the star and easily placing it atop the tree once again.

"There. Perfect."
