Disclaimer: I don't own Raising Hope. This is told from Sabrina's point of view and it's based on a poem called BUT YOU DIDN'T.

I remember the day I got into an accident with Hope in the carseat. She was 2 1/2 years old and I slammed on the break but it was too close. I couldn't stop. I hit a tree. Hope got a broken arm. I thought that you would never trust me with Hope again but you did

Sabrina paced the hospital room up and down like she was a caged animal. Jimmy, Virginia and Burt were on their way down. Jimmy rushed in.

"Jimmy I am so sorry," Sabrina said.

"Relax," he said, "It was an accident and it could have been a whole lot worse. I'm just glad you are alright and Hope got off with just a broken arm."

"I guess you'll never trust me with Hope again," she said softly.

"Are you kidding," Jimmy said,, "Of course I trust you with Hope."

I remember the day that my cousin put Hope in a 'time out' with a dog and the dog bit Hope's finger off. They were able to reattach it and you were rightfully angry first of all because Hope's behavior was provoked and secondly because she shouldn't have been in with a dog in the first place. I thought you would never forgive Shelley but you did

"THIRTY MINUTES! IN A WHAT THE HELL IS THAT A CRATE! WITH A DOG THAT HAS TEATH LIKE RASIORS! ARE YOU INSANE?"

"Okay so that wasn't the best idea," Shelley said, "It works with the dogs."

"HOPE is not a DOG," Jimmy said, "And frankly your negativity bites."

"I'm sorry. I don't really know what else to do," Shelly said

"Well... well maybe I can help you," Jimmy said

"Can you forgive me?"

"That depends on if they can reattach Hope's finger," Jimmy replied.

Of course they were able to do so.

I remember the time that Wayatt flirted with me at a dinner party we were at. I thought you would never keep your temper under control but you did. I remember the time I got a ticket driving your car. I thought you would never pay that ticket for me but you did. You put up with me. You protected me. You loved me. And then you got drafted. I never thought you would get home alive but you did!
