(I'm soooooo sorry! I worked at a camp over the summer and ive been writing a book i hope t get published, life and scholl have interfered and i feel very awful about my lack of writing so christmas break i wont sleep till it's finished i swear to you! :OOO)

"Lucy...?" Natsu questioned as he stared at the mark on her neck, his curiosity growing to worry. He looked around at the rest of the guild that was concerned by the way she was acting, and decided he'd keep quiet about it.

Natsu released a sigh, and grabbed onto Lucy pulling her from her stool. Lucy finally snapping out of her thoughts of Azael. "Natsu what are you doing?!" She shouted, as he drug her for the main doors.

"Going to your apartment, it's obvious you need to rest." He said plainly as he went out the doors, the guild watching in slightly stunned silence.

"I hope Lucy's alright.." Levy said softly, several members agreeing before continuing on with their days.

"What was that name she said earlier?"Mira asked looking to Erza her jaw clenched slightly.

"Natsu!" Lucy shouted as she stumbled along behind him. "I can go to my apartment on my own!" She struggled, and tried to pull free, her feet sliding along the cobblestone. Natsu's grip tight on her wrist.

"Obviously you can't, Lucy!" He snapped quickly. "I was at at your apartment all night, you never came home."

Lucy's protests silenced at the sudden sharpness in his voice. She looked at him a bit stunned. "You shouldn't even be going in my apartment!" she yelled. She struggled to pull her wrist free, but his grip was tight, the skin pulling uncomfortably under his fingers.

"What happened to you last night?" Natsu asked.

Lucy was too frustrated to revert back to her daydreams of her lovely angel. "I was out with a friend!" She retorted. "It's none of your business what I do anyway now is it?"

Natsu stopped, Lucy's momentum driving her forward against him. She felt cold against him, sure he was a fire dragon slayer, and lots of things were cool to him. Lucy was colder though, he had felt her skin before, felt the coolness to it, but it was colder. "If you worry your friends, and guild mates, it is my business." He said shortly. His brows were creased, and Lucy could see the tension in his shoulders.

"I'm not making anyone worried!" She said in a quick response.

"Yes you are, you're just too busy ignoring everyone to notice!"

Lucy jerked her arm back savagely, finally freeing herself from Natsu's grip. "Leave me alone Nastu my business is mine, and nobody else's got it!" She shoved him, a darkness coming from her hands, and swirling around her. The dark mist added strength to the blow, and Natsu was knocked off his feet.

He fell into the the canal, the water making a loud splash as he plunged into it. Lucy was unaware of the dark thing that had helped her. She looked at the rippling water of the canal before taking off as fast as she could. She ran for the one place she longed for most, the fountain, the fountain with Azael.

Natsu resurfaced quickly, spitting the filthy water out of his mouth. He looked around, but he didn't see Lucy anywhere. He cursed lowly to himself as he pulled himself from the water."Lucy!" He shouted. "Lucy where'd you go?" He looked around.

His heart pounded as he remembered as she pushed him, tha dark mist around her. He wasn't sure what it was but he knew it wasn't good. A feeling of dread sat in the pit of his stomach.

He returned to the guild deciding he should consult Erza, and Gray about the situation.

He reached the guild, his clothes still soaked, and dripping. He swung the doors open, several heads turning as he skulked towards his team.

"What happened, Natsu?" Erza asked, studying him.

"There's something wrong with Lucy." He said, this grew several members attention silencing them. T

hey listened their eyes intent on Natsu. "You saw it just a bit ago, she's acting strange. That's not the only problem, shes gotten really aggressive."

"Lucy has always been a bit aggressive though Natsu." Cana said. "Well aggressive towards you mostly when you make her mad."

"That's not what I mean!" He said quickly, his fists clenched. "She shoved me into the canal, that's why I'm soaked." He looked towards Mira at the counter. "Did you notice that mark on her neck?"

Mira looked at him confused, before she shook her head no. "I didn't notice anything on her."

"When she pushed me, there was some kind of force, a force capable of knocking me off my feet into the canal." He shook his hair, flicking water off of it. "I don't think she saw it herself, but their was a kind of black mist around her."

There was a silence in the room. "Either Lucy has learned a new magic, or something is wrong."

"Where is she now?" Gray asked.

"I don't know, she was gone by the time I came up from the water."

"This is bad…" Mira said, her hand on her chin as she was thinking. "Natsu, you have better hearing, did you hear the name she whispered earlier?"

"Name?" Natsu looked at her puzzled.

"She told us she was passing by, and then she was thinking of something, of someone. I think she said their name."

"It sounded weird so I'd never think it was a name." Natsu thought back to it hearing it in his head. "A…...Azael… I think is what she said."

Mira's thoughtful face tensed. "Levy!" She called to the blue haired girl quickly. "Levy, I need you to look up that name for me please."

"Mira what's wrong?" Gray asked standing from his chair. "What does that name mean?"

"Nothing good if I remember correctly." was all she said.

Lucy finally found herself back in front of Azael's fountain again. She fell to her knees in front of it, a slow breath escaping her lungs. She stared at the statue, her heart aching. "Azael, please hurry, I ...I want my angel." Her eyes stung, the water flowing from his eyes struck her as though he was sad. She rose, grabbing the edge of the fountain to help her, he fingers dipping in the cool water.

She stepped into the water, not caring about her shoes, or clothes getting wet. She lifted her hands to the statue's sharp face, holding it lightly.

"Lucy.." She heard Azael's voice say softly.

"Yes I'm here!" She said her face brightening. "What is it?"

" I can come back sooner, but you must give me one thing.." The low hum of his voice went through her nerves, melting her legs. she fell into the water, it came to her midriff as she gazed at the statue.

"Anything…" She breathed. "Anything, I'll get it for you."

"Give me your light…"

"My light?" She asked her hands grabbing onto his feet. "How can I give you light?"

"It is still too early...return when the sun starts to get lower….."

"Where am I to go till then, the guild is making a big fuss about what I did last night.." She thought back to Natsu, and to all the faces of her companions watching her. "They won't leave me alone about it till I answer them.. can I tell them?"

"No." There was a finality in his tone, that threw her off just slightly.

"But they won't stop asking till I answer them I'm sure of it." She looked up at him, her brown eyes wide and desperate.

"Leave them… what need do you have for them when you have me…. your angel…"

She stood from the cold water, it splashed lightly around her, water from her clothes dripping back into the fountain. She stepped up onto the small stand he stood on, her arms wrapping around him. "Right." She said her eyes fluttering shut. "My angel…"
