Never Believe What You Hear

Ron ran up the stairs to Harry's room to ask him if he had his potions book, and cursing the fact that Harry now slept in the Head Boy dormitory on the other side of the tower. Just outside the door, however, he stopped. There was some panting and other noises coming from inside the room. Curious, he pressed his ear to the door and listened.

"Come on, we've never had these problems before!" That was Harry's voice. He sounded out of breath.

"I know, I don't understand!" Ron started. That was unmistakeably Draco Malfoy. What were the two supposed enemies doing in there?

"Let's just give it one more go. I'll be really upset if we can't do it.."

"It's too tight.. it won't slide in like it's supposed to."

"That's strange.. I'll try to loosen it up a bit..."

"Ouch! You stuck your nails in me!"

"Ooh sorry, Draco, how about if you come round behind.. that should give you a better angle."

"Oh yeah, that's better! It might go in this time.."

"Can't you push any harder?"

"I'm trying but it's still too tight. It's not going to work.."

"I know, I'll go and ask Ron to help!" Ron jumped back. He sprinted down the stairs and out of the portrait hole, trying to get as far away as possible. Back up in the dorm room, Draco sat up and pushed his sweaty hair out of his eyes.

"You know, Harry, you should have let me sleep with you last night," he said, grinning at Harry. "That way, we would never have had these problems with the sleeping bag!"
