Alice stood at the door of Mallymkun's dressing room, knocking repeatedly. She was dressed from head to toe in the most adorable Disney garb. "Mally, hurry up! By the time we get to the park, it'll be terribly busy." A groan was heard from inside the room and the girl rolled her eyes. It wasn't too hard to take any of the other band mates to the parks, but when it came to taking Mallymkun, it was a hassle. Even if it was a date.

Finally, after what seemed like an hour to Alice but was only about five minutes in reality, the dormouse opened up the door. He was dressed in his typical casual wear - dark pants and a flannel. Alice had hoped that he would wear at least something exciting, but alas and alack. She smiled and took his hand. Without even letting him say a word, she dragged him from the backstage area, through the rabbit hole, and out of Disney California Adventure.

Hundreds of people were already lined up to get in the other theme park. Alice stomped her feet a bit. "Do you see what I mean?" Mally shrugged his shoulders. This happened every time they tried to go to Disneyland. "Sorry 'bout it, luv." The two walked over to the lines and waited about fifteen minutes before finally getting to the turnstiles. They showed their cast member IDs, were handed day passes, and got into the park.

The first stop for the couple was the Mad Hatter store on Main Street. Alice had wanted to get them matching Mickey and Minnie ears, but Mally refused. It took minutes of begging and pleading before he gave up and agreed to it. A woman who was passing by at the time called them adorable. Alice thanked her and Mally just grumbled. They took picture after picture of the moments. A few with a sour face from Mallymkun. The dormouse went to the register and paid for the two hats. What I do for love, Mally thought.

Afterwards, Alice decided it was time for rides. They ran to Fantasyland and rode almost every ride there: Dumbo, Snow White, Pinocchio, Mr. Toad, even the Alice in Wonderland ride, which made Alice reminisce for when she was younger. Mally was sure he was going to die for these were the rides that bored him out of his mind. And Alice knew they were. So she took him over to Frontierland and they rode Thunder Mountain Railroad. The dormouse was one for exhilaration.

It was getting to be lunch time so the two went over to the Refreshment Corner on Main Street. Mally made sure it was after the "Mad Hatter" had his usual musical chairs in fear of Alice weeping again. It was a long story, but never again would he let her watch it. He got the two of them pretzels in the shape of Mickey Mouse, which he thought was a bit degrading, a mouse eating a mouse, and a cherry coke to share. They finished and continued off on their adventure.

Mally was growing tired of the day in the early afternoon. He was a dormouse, after all, so his span of staying awake was quite small. When the two got off of Space Mountain, Mally asked Alice if they could head back already. "Head back? But we've barely done anything!" The dormouse yawned loudly and Alice knew she was losing him to sleep.

So begrudgingly, Alice took Mallymkun by the hand and they made their way back to the Mad T Party backstage area. They stood at the door of Mally's dressing room awhile, looking into each others eyes lovingly. Finally, the gaze broke and Alice smiled. "Thank you for the lovely day, Mallymkun." The dormouse grinned and kissed the girl. "You're welcome, wonderful." And with that, he went into his dressing room and spent the rest of the afternoon, sleeping.
