"The New Student"

Please enjoy and review!

Walking into her first period class that day, Daisy Motomiya was curious over why all of the girls seemed to be acting a bit odd.

They seemed to be giggling and blushing as they gossiped which made her wonder if there was something exciting going on that she didn't know about.

Maybe she should ask Yolei Inoue about it since her friend loved gossip just as much as she did being the top female student.

"Hey, Kari!" Daisy greeted when she spotted the girl.

Looking up from her desk, Kari Kamiya smiled at Daisy as she made her way over to sit with her.

"Morning, Daisy. How are you?" Kari asked.

"A little confused. Do you know what's going on around here?" Daisy questioned.

"You didn't hear? A new student is joining our class today. Some of the girls saw him heading for the office earlier." Kari explained.

"All of this is because of a new student?" Daisy asked in disbelief.

It seemed odd to her that all of the girls were behaving the way they were because of that.

Perhaps the new student is a celebrity or the heir of a rich family, that would explain why all of the girls have become so enamoured by whoever this person was.

"What's so special about this new kid?" Daisy asked.

"I don't know. But quite a few girls have been saying he's very good looking. They think he might be from Europe." Kari said.

"Europe?" Daisy blinked.

Just then, the teacher opened the door to the class and all of the students rushed to their seats.

When the teacher walked into the room, a teenage boy followed him inside and all of the girls began to giggle, gossip and coo over how beautiful he looked.

None of the boys in the class were amused that the girls had all been seduced by the new guy's looks so easily, but Daisy supposed she could understand why everyone became so interested in him.

The new boy was beautiful.

He had a head full of curly blond locks, pocelain skin that didn't have a single blemish on it and bright blue eyes that sparkled like jewels.

Even Kari seemed captivated by the boy which made Daisy feel sorry for TK since he would have some competition for the Child of Light's attention.

"All right, everyone, as you can see, we have a new student joining us today. He just moved here from a different country. Introduce yourself, young man." The teacher told him.

Nodding, the boy smiled at the class and the girls seemed to go a bit wild over the attention.

"Hello, it's nice to meet everyone. My name is Luc Morningstar." The boy introduced himself.

"Now, let's see where we can seat you." The teacher mused as he looked around the class.

"Actually, sir, if you don't mind. I would like to sit over there." Luc said pointing over to an empty desk.

Blinking when she saw the girls all glaring her way, Daisy looked to her right and found Luc had been pointing at the empty desk that was beside her.

"All right then. Ms. Motomiya, I hope you'll make sure Mr. Morningstar settles in well here." The teacher said.

"Uh, sure thing, Mr. Aoki." Daisy smiled and tried to ignore the glares.

None of the girls were happy with her but they knew better than to start trouble with Daisy since she would have no issue getting physical with them, especially if they ganged up on her.

Luc then walked over to the empty desk and sat down in it, giving the raspberry haired girl a charming smile as he did so.

"It's nice to meet you, I'm Luc." He greeted.

"Nice to meet cha, I'm Daisy." She smiled cheerfully.

The boy was smiling brightly as his cheeks were tinted pink at the sight of the girl.

Noticing the way the boy seemed to be hanging over the girl's side, Kari couldn't help but smile at them.

It was nice to see someone showing interest in Daisy, the girl really deserved to have someone in her life.

During the rest of the day, it seemed that Luc was always bumping into Daisy, having all of the same classes as her and his locker was even beside hers.

Eventually, Daisy invited him to have lunch with her and her friends since they had the same lunch hour and Luc eagerly agreed.

"I hope your friends will like me." Luc said as he followed Daisy to the roof.

"I'm sure they will. It's hard for them to not like people." Daisy told him.

Smiling at that, Luc kept close to the girl as they made their way up to the roof and found Kari sitting with three boys and a girl who were all eating and talking.

"Oh, look, there they are." Kari noticed the duo.

Everyone turned to look at Daisy who was walking over with Luc.

"He is cute." Yolei giggled which made her boyfriend Ken Ichijouji give her an annoyed expression.

He really didn't like how she would talk about other boys when they were dating, but tried not to let it bother him since he knew she was faithful to him.

"He seems more interested in Daisy." Cody Hida commented.

Everyone looked closely and smirked as they saw how Luc kept staring at the girl.

"Hey guys!" Daisy greeted as she and Luc stood in front of the group.

"Hey, Daisy. Who's your new friend?" TK Takaishi asked with a pleasant smile.

"This is Luc, he just started here." Daisy informed.

"Hello, it's nice to meet everyone." Luc smiled.

"It's nice to meet you, aswell. I'm Cody." The youngest member of the group greeted.

He was always the polite one and had the best manners out of the group.

"This is Yolei and her boyfriend Ken." Kari gestured to the duo.

"Hey there!" Yolei greeted with a smug look.

"Welcome." Ken nodded at him.

"And this is my boyfriend TK." Kari finished.

"I hope your first day has been going well." TK said.

Daisy sat down beside Ken, looking confused by the look Yolei was sending her way as Luc automatically took a seat on the raspberry haired girl's other side.

"Everyone has been very kind, especially Daisy. She's shown me to all of my classes and was nice enough to invite me to join you all." Luc smiled at her.

"Hey, first days are hard for everyone. It's easier if you find people to hang out with on the first day." Daisy offered.

"And, fortunately for you, Daisy is too naïve to do it for ulterior motives." Yolei commented.

Most girls would have died to get close to Luc because of his looks and would probably just want to befriend him so they could date him.

As for Daisy, she had done if with the hope for making a new friend and just wanting to be helpful which all of her friends understood.

Although, they could all tell that Luc seemed to want more than friendship from her.

"Ulter… Yolei, what are you talking about?" Daisy asked feelng confused.

"Just ignore her, she's trying to get a rise out of you." Ken dismissed.

Rolling her eyes, Daisy started eating her lunch as Luc seemed to be getting pulled into a conversation with Cody who was curious on where the boy had moved from.

(Later…)

The final bell had gone off and the students were all rushing to gather their things for after school activities or to head home.

Daisy was making her way to the locker room to get changed into her soccer uniform, but she was stopped by Luc who was chasing her her.

"Daisy, are you heading home now?" Luc asked hoping he could walk her home.

"Oh, no, I'm on the soccer team. I'm heading over for practise right now." Daisy told him.

Luc's face fell for a moment as he felt disappointed that he wouldn't be able to spend more time with her.

"Oh, I see. Well, have fun then. I guess I'll see you tomorrow." He said smiling once again.

"Sure. See ya." Daisy grinned before walking off.

"Bye." Luc said softly.

Sighing, the boy made his way outside with a heavy heart, feeling guilty for not being truthful with Daisy and her friends about who he was and where he came from.

Unknown to the DigiDestineds, Luc was actually an angel Digimon who had taken on human form so he could get close to her and get to know her.

Finding a secluded place outside to sit and watch, Luc stood there as he saw Daisy and the rest of the girls ran out onto the soccer field to start training.

Luc had a bit of an obsession with Daisy ever since he first saw her in the Digital World, protecting a group of baby Digimon from a Sinduramon that had gone on a rampage.

In awe of her beauty of courage, Luc had asked the various Digimon who had been in contact with the girl about who she was and heard the stories of everything she and her friends had accomplished.

He wanted to get to know Daisy better and he felt that taking on the identity of a high school student was the best way.

It would be easier for him to become friends with her that way and see if she was as amazing as the stories the Digimon told him of the DigiDestineds were.

So far, he liked what he saw.

He just hoped she wouldn't be too upset at him for lying to her.

The end.
