Memories...

I was running on a lonely road. In my mind, I was running from you and those memories of you.
You said it would never work, that too much history was weighed you down. You told me to forget everything about you, the kiss, that night… everything, because they shouldn't have happened in the first place.

The first frost was here, snow and winter on its way. The road was full of frozen puddles and the first one I clashed in to, shattered the second my toes hit the thin layer. My love resembled that puddle, shattered the second I got it.

The next puddle didn't break until my whole foot was weighed it down, resemble the lost of those hopes and dreams I had of a future with you.

The last puddle didn't break. Without a reason I started to jump on the ice, trying my hardest to break it. But it didn't. Instead I tripped and landed on my butt, the ice still intact. That's when it hit me. I got up and started to run back to you, calling your name. You turned around and I throw myself around your neck and clashed my lips to yours. I looked up to your confused eyes, my own filled with tears and my cheeks were red from the cold.

"Don't you dare tell me something like that again Gajeel Redfox! You can break my heart, my soul and even my dreams about a future with you. But you can't tell me too forget about you, because even I can't do anything about those stupid memories, even if I wanted to!"

You remained quiet for a while, and then you gave me a fainted smile, lifting your hand to stroke away a blue lock from my face.

"I'm sorry Levy, I won't run away anymore, I promised"

My tear escaped and was now making its way down my cheeks. You tilted your head so you could kiss away those tears.

"Damn straight you're… you big idiot"
