Me: I'm BACK!

Hannon: FINALLY! I have been wondering whats going to happen next!

Me: I know! I'm Sorry!

Rina turns to the other girls in confusion realizing at all the other girls were just as confused as she was.

Why are they not talking and totally having a blast? This place is not new for them, they come here all the time with Hannon and everyone.

Her train of thought was interrupted by her phone vibrating in her waitress apron.

[ Hey Rina, how are the love birds doing? I bet they are totally making out rn huh? I'm so mad I couldn't be there to FINALLY watch them get together! ] read Hannons text

[ Actually… they aren't really talking…. If anything, I think that they are even more awkward now then they ever have been together. Maybe we jumped the gun with this Hannon. ] Rina replied

[ DX HOW COULD IT NOT HAVE WORKED?! THEY ARE TOTALLY INTO EACHOTHER, THEY ARE AT ONE OF THE MOST ROMANTIC RESTAURANTS IN TOWN! THE STARS AND PLANETS FINALLY ALIGNED FOR THEM AND THEY ARE NOT EVEN TALKING TO EACHOTHER?! ]

Back at the table, Luchia and Kaito are yet again lost for words. It wouldn't be the first time Luchia has worn Kaitos clothing before but him offering her them while she is on a date with him completely blows her mind…

Then she remembers his old trick when he tries to take a girl home with him… and she gets angry.

*FLASH BACK*

"Hey Luchia, wanna know the easiest way to get into a girl's pants?" Kaito asks trying to annoy her and get her off the topic of Mesopotamian emperors

"Not really. You have to ace this test next week if you even want to consider graduating!" Luchia explains to Kaito

" Awe but it's a good one. And then when you get asked out you'll know what to look for in a good guy! The easiest way is to 1. Take her to a fancy restaurant 2. Ask her if she wants to come over after dinner and then the grand slam is let her borrow your clothing. It guarantees that she will be at least half naked in your house by the end of the night!"

*END FLASHBACK*

Luchia looks up at Kaito angry, not that he would notice because he is staring at his food while he eats. As she starts to say something, Noel walks over

"How are you guys doing? Do you need any refills or desert? We have an amaz-"

"No. We're fine. Thanks", Luchia says coldly.

Hearing the tension in her voice Kaito looks up befuddled. He turns to Noel and says kindly and apologetically

" I think we're all set. Can I have the bill please?"

"Sure… here you go. They can give you your change at the counter."

"Thank you, Noel."

As Noel walks away, Kaito turns to Luchia who's face is riddled in anger on the verge of tears. He rethinks everything that has happened through out the night to try and figure out what happened, but he can't seem to remember what could have made her so mad at him. He had only seen her this mad once before and she didn't talk to him for almost 2 weeks.

*IN KAITOS MIND*

DUDE! WHAT DID YOU DO? SHE IS SO MAD AT YOU FOR NO REASON! YOU HAD TO OF DONE SOMETHING! DID YOU LOOK AT ANOTHER GIRL? BRING UP ANOTHER GIRL? NOT COMPLEMENT HER ENOUGH?

*REALITY*

"So, this was just some ploy to get into my pants huh? Pretty low of you to get Hannon and Nagisa in on it. I can't believe you Kaito! After everything we've been through? You want to throw it all away for just one night of 'fun'? I can not believe that you think I am ignorant enough to fall for your tricks, let alone your oldest trick?" Luchia says as she begins to cry.

"What are you talking about?" Kaito asks as he recalls everything he said to her that night in a panic

"I thought I meant something to you… I thought you cared about me... but I'm just another stupid girl for you to add to your list." Luchia grabs the bill and stands up, "I'll pay for dinner tonight, buy Gaito his favorite fruit snacks for his lunch next week. I'll take my leave now. Thank you for showing me who you really are."

As Luchia walks away, she pulls out her phone and calls for a cab and pays the bill. Rina and the others are shocked to see her walking out alone and in tears. They all look at each other and with an exchanging of looks, decide to stay out of it for now and to let Hannon know what just happened.

Kaito is left in the restaurant alone, confused, and heart broken. He honestly had no idea what she was talking about just now. He couldn't remember using any of his lines or tricks on her to try and impress her because he believed in his heart that there is nothing he could do to impress someone like her. He sits there for a while just trying to figure out what he could have said to her. After not being able to figure it out, he leaves.

When Kaito gets to his car, he punches his steering wheel in anger.

"DAMNIT! THIS WAS MY ONE CHANCE AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW I SCREWED IT UP!" He yelled.

*CUT TO LUCHIA*

As she is in the cab on the way to her house, she is sobbing. She can not believe that after all these years of taking care of him and his brother and being the best friend, she could be to him that he would try to take advantage of her like that and throw it all away. She truly believed that tonight would have been the night if anything for her to confess her feelings to him, but now she is glad that she didn't. Luchia knew that he would have used that to just have fun with her and then drop her like he does with every other girl that he dates.

Her phone is blowing up with calls, text, messenger and skype notifications from Hannon, Rina, Noel, CoCo, Sara and of course Kaito. She figures that Kaito is still trying to just sleep with her or trying to salvage their relationship so that she will still take care of him. I mean if you think about it, what does Luchia have to gain from taking care of Kaito and his brother? Nothing is the conclusion she comes to. She feels as though the world is against her, so she turns off her phone. When she gets home, she runs to her room and locks the door. She rips off the dress and shoes that Hannon gave her, wipes off all the makeup, puts on her normal sweats and glasses and just lays in bed tries to draw to calm herself down… but it does not help.

Kaito tried to get ahold of Luchia and apologize for anything that he said or insinuated that night. He called, texted, facetimed, skyped even messaged her on bookface to try and get a response out of her, but nothing was ever replied. He ended up driving to a spot that held 2 very special memories to him. One was with his mom, she told him at this spot that his dad was not going to come home again. The second was with Luchia. He brought her here to tell her the story about his mom and it was the first time that he cried in front of her. It was the first time since his dad left that he allowed himself to feel vulnerable around someone.

"It's going to be ok, Kaito. You are so much stronger than you think. Being hurt now will help shape you into an amazing man, one that will provide and take care of a great family one day. You have to think about Gaito and your mom right now though, they need you to be strong." Luchia said to him in that moment.

Kaito in this moment of remembrance realizes what he must do. He gets into his car and takes off towards Luchias house. On the verge of tears, he arrives just before 11:30 and stands outside her window just looking for any indication that she is awake… but the lights were off. He missed his chance that night to fix things. Kaito then goes to his car and slams the door shut.
