I haven't updated this story in a couple of years...People, I am so sorry! If there is anyone still reading this story, a huge thank you! 3 And to any new readers, I hope you enjoy it =)

IMPORTANT: I also decided to change this story to a crossover. Originally, this story was going to be a one-shot anyway, so I didn't think a lot about it's future, but I've given this a lot of thought and decided. Don't worry though; the romance will stay the same! And yes, I did change the plot summary to fit this =)

Previously...

"Hey, Maka?" She looked at me, eyebrows raised in question, and I continued. "I'm a god, hahaha! But, actually...I'm your boyfriend too. Why do you hate your dad so much?" I wondered if I was prying too much, suddenly unsure of myself- which was very rare for me.

"He always acts so clingy and annoying, like I'm not my own person. Like I'm not allowed to live my life because I might get a couple of bruises or something. But also...he always claims that he loves Mama, and misses her, but it's such a lie! He's always fooling around with other women! That idiot...he doesn't care about Mama at all!" Angry tears began to roll down her cheeks, and even though her words were harsh, I could tell that she was really hurting about this. Her parents' separation had caused real pain. Almost instinctively, I reached out and wrapped my arms around her. After a moment of stiffness, she relaxed into my hug and began to cry harder. I wanted to open my mouth and speak, anything to break this silence that was only filled by her sobs, but knew better. Maka needed comfort. So I would be here for her.

Maka POV

"Soul, get up! Hurry, we're going to be late!" The boy in question simply groaned and rolled over, and I shook my head in exasperation, glad that I had made him pack all of his things the night before, and even helped to make sure he didn't miss anything important. Grabbing a book, I eyed the boy. "Maka...chop!" That got him up. He growled at me, muttering about how uncool that was, and I rolled my eyes back at him. "Come on!" I left the room as he got dressed, and thought about my day yesterday. Black Star had been so sweet, even though I was embarrassed at how easily I'd broken down in front of him. Blushing lightly, I glanced up at Soul as he walked out of the room, and felt a twinge in my heart. It was for the best. I didn't have any chance with Soul. Besides, Black Star was, surprisingly, a really nice guy. Maybe I really could find happiness with him...Raising his eyebrows at me, Soul walked pat me and continued to get ready, completely unaware of my line of thoughts.

As we met at Death city's airport, I smiled as Black Star came over and gave me a greeting hug. "Maka! How was your night? How are you?" Though he said it loudly, with a grin on his face, he looked into my eyes, and I could tell he was asking me if I was alright after last night. I smiled back at him. "I'm good, how are you?" We chatted for a bit with everyone else, and boarded the plane together. Sitting together, we began to discuss what we knew of the school we were going to. It was in England, and called Hogwarts. I wrinkled my nose at the name, but continued to talk about it with the others. Apparently, it was a school for magic users. Witches and wizards. I'd been worried at first, what with the encounters I had had previously with witches, but supposedly they weren't all bad. Also, we were apparently going to be participating in some sort of inter-school tournament. The other schools that would be there were schools called Durmstrang and Beauxbatons. Also, apparently the schools were meant to have some sort of fancy entrance when they first met the other schools Lord Death had decided to wait until just before they left to tell them that little detail. Great. As we discussed what we could do, Tsubaki softly spoke up.

"A-ano...well, the other schools won't have had experience with weapons, right? So...what if all the weapons are in weapon form, and as we enter, the meisters run in wielding us, maybe doing some tricks, and...through us up into the air, then we could morph mid air and land in a line?" I thought about it for a second, then beamed.

"Yeah, that's a great idea, Tsubaki! It would introduce what we're about, without giving away much."

'Wait...we would be doing the same thing, right? Like...it would all be choreographed?" Unsurprisingly, that came from Kid.

"Nah, let it all be different, that'll look wilder! Better!" Black Star grinned, and Kid deflated.

"B-but..."

"Chill, Kid. You can make yours symmetrical if you want." Liz said, trying to appease him. He didn't look too happy with the thought, but nodded. "Actually, you could fly in on your skateboard! It would be more symmetrical that way, with Maka and Black Star below, and that would work in case there wasn't enough space for the three of you to run in with their weapons. Especially since Soul's pretty big in weapon form, and Tsubaki can be too." His eyes widened at that and he nodded more enthusiastically. I grinned at the thought.

"Yeah, we'll all look pretty cool," Soul remarked, smirking. "But me 'n' Maka will look coolest."

"Whatever! I'm gonna surpass god so I have the best weapon! Tsubaki will outshine you!" Sighing as the boys began to argue, and Kid talked to Liz and Patty about what they were going to do for the entrance, I pulled a book out of my bag. It was called Hogwarts: A History, and was really informative about where we were going.

Finally, the plane arrived, and we all got off. Waiting for us in the terminal holding a sign with our school name was a very large, hairy man. As we approached him, his eyes lit up, and he said cheerfully, "Ah, so you're th' lot from Death Weapon Meister Academy? Strange name, that. Well, please follow me. Th' name's Rebeus Hagrid, gamekeeper of Hogwarts. Call me Hagrid!" I inwardly chuckled at what he said; it wasn't that strange of a name once you knew what sort of school we attended. Besides, that coming from the man who worked at a school called 'Hogwarts?' Right.

He lead us outside, and after a small walk wheeling and carrying our bags, we came to an empty field, where a tin about the size of my head sat. "Right, well...ev'ryone uh...touch that tin, make sure you're all touching it. And hold onto your bags too."

"But it looks yuck!" I heard Liz exclaim, and though I didn't really mind, she was right; it was dirty. However, we did as told, and Hagrid began to count loudly down from 3. As he reached 1, the world began to spin rapidly and suddenly we were flying through the air. Eyes widening, I saw the ground coming towards me quickly, and twisted my body so that my feet hit the ground first, landing in a crouch. Black Star also landed on his feet, as did Kid. We all managed to keep our luggage in hand. The weapons, however, were not so lucky; whilst they managed to land on their feet, their luggage went flying out of their hands, to land a ways away. Not that I could blame them; weapons didn't have quite as much physical training as meisters did, meaning meisters held an edge over them in that regard. Straightening, I pulled Tsubaki to her feet with a sympathetic smile, and turned to find Hagrid standing behind us sheepishly. As the weapons went and grabbed their stuff, I walked to Black Star's side.

"S'rry. Guess I shoulda warned you lot 'bout that. Tha's a portkey; object used for transportation. Sometimes, 'specially on newcomers, it can be a bit...rough. But you all landed it, usually no first timers do!" Liz groaned dramatically, muttering under her breath, but I ignored her, as I stared at a pair of giant gates. Black Star grabbed my hand, and I smiled at him as Hagrid ushered us through gates and onto two carts pulled by odd, bony black creatures. I saw the others looking at them in confusion as well as Black Star put his arm around me and asked,"What are they?" I shrugged.

"I..don't know..." Soul smirked at me.

"Really? That's a first." Glaring at him, I stuck my tongue out childishly. In the first cart, was Hagrid, Kid, Liz and Patty. The rest of us rode in the second cart. My jaw however, dropped as I looked around at the scenery; it was getting dark, but I could still see that it was beautiful here. And there was so much empty space, so it looked like we wouldn't have trouble finding places to train. As a large, old-looking castle came into view, I stared at it. It was so different to DWMA. Whilst DWMA was amazing in its own right, I had never really seen a castle like that before...It would be interesting to see what Hogwarts had in store for us.

As he lead us to a giant set of double, where he said the entrance hall was, I surveyed the two other groups of students curiously. They had a lot more students than us, especially since the weapons had gone into weapon form before we entered the castle. And they also had teachers. As the son of Lord Death, Kid was in charge, and he was going to be officially introduced. We heard one of the school names called out, and the doors swung open to permit entry for the girls with the blue uniform. Behind them, a large woman strode in regally. Waiting our turn, me and Black Star moved to stand behind the other school- Durmstrang- and Kid jumped onto his skateboard, and hovered behind us. I clutched Soul a bit tighter as the second school went in, grinning at Black Star and Soul. "We'll be awesome." I said, to calm my nerves and they nodded, grinning. Finally, I heard our school's name, and the doors swung open for us. Me and Black Star entered at a slow jog, and then sped up. I twirled and flipped with Soul in my arms gracefully, and as we passed the tables, to an area with a bit more room, I allowed myself to do a fancier twirl, using Soul to boost me up into the air. A quick glance at Black Star confirmed he was also using the space to his advantage as he swung around Tsubaki in her chain scythe mode. Kid jumped off of his skateboard and landed between us, and using this as our cue, the three of us threw our weapons into the air. Transforming, they landed in line with us, and I smiled, hearing gasps from the students. That had gone well. Stepping forward, Kid bowed, and we followed the students of Beauxbatons and Durmstrang to sit to the side, watching as Hogwarts's headmaster gave a speech about the tournament we were to enter...

And I'm done. Hope you all enjoyed it, sorry not a lot of romance happened in this chapter. If anyone has any suggestions, for the future, drop a review and I'll try to incorporate them. Until next time, and thank you to anyone who still reads this, I really appreciate it! =)
