The Dinner Pt. 2

Jade was pissed off and terrified. Sykowitz had kept her late to talk about her play. He felt as though some details were too morbid, and he would not allow it unless she changed some aspects. She had never been late for one of her father's dinners before, and the younger Vega was making things worse.

She honked the horn for the fourth time since she had gotten there.

"Ugh! This is ridiculous, Vega!"

Jadelyn groaned as she began to take her seatbelt off. She looked over at the redhead next to her who was too busy dancing in her seat to the radio to notice anything was going on. Jade rolled her eyes and got out of the car. She banged on the door until finally Trina opened it.

"Tori's busy and can't come to your whatever."

With her piercing blue-green eyes, Jade gave the more annoying Vega an icy glare. She pushed open the door and began walking up to Tori's room, ignoring Trina's various protests. In the bedroom, Jade found the younger Vega sitting on her bed doing her sister's homework. She didn't even notice the pale girl standing in the doorway at first.

She grabbed the younger Vega's wrist and pulled her to her feet. Jade rolled her eyes, ignoring Tori's complaints and whines. She dragged her down the stairs, past Trina, and towards the door.

"Where are you taking her? I told you she was busy!"

If looks could kill, Trina would've dropped dead right then and there. Jadelyn spoke coldly through clenched jaws, "We're leaving." She grabbed a jacket off of the couch, assuming it was the younger Vega's, pulled her to the car, and threw it to her once they were inside of it.

When the girls finally arrived at The West Household, Jade was about ready to pee her pants. She slowly opened the door and quietly walked inside, her friends following her. A booming voice followed the closing of the front door.

"Well well well, look who finally decided to show up."

A/N: I am so incredibly sorry it has taken me so long to put this chapter up. I've been going through a lot of things in my life that stopped my from finishing this chapter. With everything I was going through, I lacked motivation. I'm so sorry you guys. I'm going to do my best to put the next chapter up before New Years. Happy Holidays!
