Damon+Elena One Shot

Damon's POV

When I walked into the Grill, clammy hands and all,I wondered if what I was doing was right. Obviously, I wanted to, I just don't know about her anymore. Especially, since when we broke up, she got with Kol, Klaus, Stefan, and Elijah. And now that we've gotten back together, honestly, I hope to God he says something along the lines of "Yes, Damon!" to both of my questions.

Elena's POV

As I sit in the Grill waiting, I suddenly wonder if I was doing the right thing by getting back with him. I mean I love him more than his brother and the Mikaelson's together. To be honest, I couldn't care less as I see him walk in, just as nervous as me. He actually looked more nervous than me, which, by the way, I didn't think was possible. My heart broke, my breath hitched,, and I fell off my chair, all because I saw Damon.

Damon's POV

She fell out of her chair! That's a good sign, right? Well, I think I've decided on asking her both tonight because I think it'll hurt more if I don't than if i get rejected. Approaching her... our table, i helped her up and she turned bright red.

"Hey, don't be like that, Rosy!" I added so that she would understand the seriousness and teasing in my tone. She turned a brighter red shade. Wow, I didn't think that was plausible . Anyways, I realize we should eat here, then go to our spot. Where I would, hopefully, ask her. So, we ate, then I told her my other plans for the night, excluding my two questions. She quickly agreed, and we left, heading to our spot.

Elena's POV

Damon told me his plans after he helped me up, off the ground, and we had eaten. We got into his red Corvette, and headed out to our spot, by the waterfall. Our spot was a grassy meadow with daisies encompassing it, and a perfect view of the waterfall. No one, except us, knows about this area. We usually sit in the meadow on sunny days, and under the Willow tree on others. Not always, though

We arrived and he sped over to me, helping me out of his shiny, new Corvette. We hiked up the small hill, and I gasped at the sight.

Damon's POV

I think that we both gasped when we saw the area. Gorgeous. That's was the first word that popped into my head. It was beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. We'd never been here on a full moon, which was tonight. The light form the full moon reflected on the water, giving the water a fantastic glimmer. And the daisies where sprinkled with mist, while glowing from the moon.

Perfect. That's the second word that jumped into my head. Tonight is the perfect night to ask Elena to marry me and to become my vampire babe.

Elena's POV

I looked over to Damon and saw him gazing at me, thoughtfully. We walked over to the Willow Tree, because we wanted to see the daises and the waterfall. We sat there fro approximately ten minutes, when he turned to me and said, "Elena?"

When I looked over to him, he was holding out a beautiful Lapis Lazuli ring, and was on one knee *BLANK MIND*

"Elena Katerina Gilbert, I promise to love you as long as we both walk this Earth. Will you do me the honor of marrying me?"

"YES! Of course, Damon! I love you sooooo much!"

Damon's POV

She said yes! I can't begin to explain my happiness in this particular moment. Then, I remember my second question, and started to ask.

"You have no idea how happy I am in this exact moment," I paused for dramatic effect."Elena, I do have one more question-" I was going to say that just because we were to be married, it shouldn't influence her decision, but she interrupted me first.

"Yes Damon, I will turn. IF! You, Elijah, Kol, Stefan, and Klaus turn me."

"I don't care who your sire is, as long as you're with me."

No One's POV

They left the meadow, an hour later, and went home, together.
