It was as if she and the waves were as one. Her graceful form, the way her feet gripped the board, the way she didn't even need to use her bending to make the water conform to her movements.

He could watch her all day, he thought with a smile...just before the wave came crashing into him. The board slipped, he lost his footing and crashed onto the shore with a loud yell.

"Aang!"

She brought her board to a stop and dashed to his aid. Obviously worried...but a tad amused? She knelt at his side, placing a hand under his back to help him sit up.

"I'm okay," he chuckled. "Guess I got a little distracted for a moment."

"Maybe next time, you should keep an eye on the waves," she said, "and not on me." Oops. Maybe he'd been a little too obvious this time. He blushed, trying not to focus on the way her swimsuit clung to her in all the right ways.

"Right, sorry about that!"

"It's okay." She helped him stand. "Maybe we should take a break for a while. How about some ice cream?"

"Sure!" He took her hand and they ran to the nearest vendor.

Sunlight caught the droplets of water clinging to her skin, and she almost sparkled.
