Hello people :') This little plot bunny decided to hop along into my brain sometime last week while deciding to jump on the metaphorical band wagon of 'reveal' stories. So, instead I thought I'd write one with a bit of a difference. It's only a drabble. C'mon guys I'm in school, I'm not exactly going to write a novel am I?

Merlin paced nervously outside his masters chambers. It had been almost a year since Morgana's attack and Camelot had been basking in a period of tranquility unlike any other. The young manservant knew that Morgana would return, and he needed to know that Camelot would be ready, in every aspect. He would be able to protect Camelot more thoroughly if he didn't have to worry about Arthur watching him.
Was he scared? Yes. Just the idea of Arthur knowing who he truly was terrified him. But he knew it was for the best. Just as he was about to raise his hand to knock on the door, a familiar voice sounded from inside the room.
"Merlin, I know you're out there. Are you planning on coming in at any point or are you to wear down the floor with your incessant pacing until the cows come home?"
Merlin shook his head and marched into the room.
"Hello prat." He greeted, nodding his head in the direction of the king. Arthur, who was sitting at his desk, smirked and replied casually,
"Good afternoon clotpole." Arthur stretched and stood up from his place behind his desk. "What brings you here?"
"Well I am your manservant." Merlin snorted.
"Seriously, Merlin, what's up?" Arthur seemed to notice Merlin's disposition and sobered. Merlin gulped audibly and put his hands behind his back.
"I need to tell you something. I understand that this may be difficult for you, but I believe that it is in the kindom's greatest to interest to tell you that-"
"You have magic."
"-I was born with magic- Wait what?!" Merlin spluttered.
"I know Merlin. I was just waiting for you to own up." Arthur said, barely keeping a straight face.
All the times that Merlin had waited, anxious. All the times he had to hide who he was. All the times he could have saved someone. Merlin gritted his teeth and said,
"How long?"
"Since last year."

Guinevere was strolling down the corridors, enjoying the peace and quiet of the early afternoon when she heard a blood curdling scream from Arthur's chambers. As she jogged down the hall she arrived at the door in time to see Merlin storm around the corridor and disappear. Shaking her head, Gwen pushed the door open and gazed across the room. Stifling a laugh she said,
"Arthur, why are you hanging upside down?"

Aaaand that's it. For now. ;D
With both of my multi-chapter fics mere chapters away from being finished, I've put a poll up on my profile regarding what story you'd like me to do next. There's a brief description and genre on each option so I'd love it if you guys went and voted for what you'd like to read next! :D
