All of his life, Beyond Birthday could see everyone's time of death, but not his own... Not that he cared. What really taunted him was the fact that he felt like a weakling. He felt like "Human Scum"... He had never killed anyone, no. He was just able to tell when they were about to die, so he never had the pleasure of taking someone's life.
That's what this walk was for... To find his suitable target. To find someone easy... and maybe feel his own blood race as the victim's squirted through his fingers. As unclean as that sounded, BB wanted it. He WANTED to feel the hot, sticky liquid, drip down his arm as he raised his knife high into the air. He WANTED to smell the thickness around him, filled with the scent of fear and iron. He had been walking for hours on end, and was about to give up, but then, he spotted her.
She was frail, and her skin was very light. She looked shy... Yes, she LOOKED shy. The way her hands tightened around her bag as a single person would walk past, and the way her eyes darted towards the ground made it all too clear. Her light brown hair seemed to fly in all sorts of directions, and her deep brown eyes darted nervously from person to person as she tried to calm her out-of-control situation down.
She was perfect.
BB was careful, and thought of a plan before taking any sort of action... Slowly and calmly he walked close to her, all the while holding back his excitement. Softly he "accidentally" bumped into the young woman.
"Oh! I do apologize miss!", BB exclaimed, bending over to retrieve the belongings that had just fallen to the ground.
"O-oh no please, I'm sorry. I'll get them. I-I should have been watching w-were I was walking. I'm sorry"
Again. She was perfect.
