~Epilogue~

My name is Megan Morse. When I was eleven years old my best friends Zatanna Zatarra and Auirtemis Crock suffered a strange but beautiful transformation

( HAPPY HARBOR BEACH/MONTHS LATER)

After the events of at Cadmus, Dicks adoptive father, Bruce Wayne, took care of the situation with Luthor and his evil ways. All genomorphs that were made in Cadmus labs were liberated, unfortunately some died out during this activity, they were properly buried in respects by the Wayne company. (Dick ended up being grounded for 3 weeks for stealing his equipment). Turned out Bruce knew all about the girls and their ability's way before Luthor got a hold of them. Fortunately he was able to dispose of any information Cadmus had on them and all production of Kobra Venom. He was even able to come up with a solution for Connor's Kobra Venom blood inside of him. Connor declined the invitation for his DNA to be repressed in belief that he would simply need to learn how to control it in order to help protect the girls from any other felons.

"Connor, hurry up already! I wanna get there before it gets crowded!" Wally bellowed at their current driver. He was standing on his seat looking out form the roof of the jeep.

"Wally, shut up, summer vacation just started, I'm sure the beach isn't going to be crowded just yet." Connor responded keeping his eyes on the road.

"Dude!"

"Kid, take a seat!" Artemis grabbed his beach shorts and pulled him down. Once he was seated she pressed a kiss on his cheek "Calm down already" she giggled.

"Babe, case you forgot, we do want to get their as soon as possible because the last thing we need is people seeing you guys with your tails out. We need to hurry and find a private place."

"yeah yeah, we know ." Artemis smiled laying her head on his shoulder.

"Say cheese!" Megan said taking a picture of two from the passenger seat with her phone.

"Megan!" Wally hid his face in Artemis's hair

"Not my fault you guys are so cute." Megan laughed as she reached and turned up the music on the radio. "Hey, who has the cooler?"

"Dick." Connor answered taking one hand off the wheel and grabbing Megan' kissing it.

"Haha." Megan blushed before standing up form her seat and stiking her head out the roof of the jeep, her red air blowing in the wind. "Hello Summer Vacation!"'

"Well at least we know she's excited!" Artemis laughed bobbing her hair to the selfie song on the radio.

It wasn't long before they group reached the beach, meeting the others in Kaldur's car once there. The group was able to find a nice quiet place behind a few rocks segregated from the other people at the beach. Once they were able to set up their umbrella and blankets, they changed into their swim gear.

"I'm sooo glad exams are over." Wally said stretching out his arms "I need this."

~I have a special power, that I'm not afraid to use.~

"Sleeping during class is hard work isn't it?" Artemis grabbed his arm leading him to the water.

"You have no idea babe." Wally swept her up into his arms bride style and ran toward the water with a giggling Artemis.

"Zee? May I have this swim?" Dick asked bending over like a gentlemen as he took her hand and kissed it gently.

"Well I'd be certainly whelmed if you did!" Zatanna jumped out his back and laughed as he made their way toward the water.

~Every waking hour I discover something new.~

Kaldur turned to Raquel "My love?" He said offering his hand.

Raquel giggled as she took it and ran with him.

~So come on this is my adventure, this is my fantasy…~

"Ready?" Connor asked as he slapped sand off his swim shorts.

"Defiantly." Megan giggled and ran toward the water before diving fish style into it.

~Its all about living into the ocean breeze living wild and free!~

What was going on under the water was beautiful, the four couples swam together with the undersea creature flowing around. Red, black and gold hair was being spread out as green almost blending in with the sea mermaid tails followed behind them. The girls were swim together with their loved ones right next to them. (AN: The air breathers are breathing through that air stick they used in Homefront and Revelation)Wally looked at his girlfriend and was amazed at how the ocean kissed her skin and green tattoo's on her cheek and arms. She looked like the definition on perfections as the gold hair was surrounding her body. He truly believed he was the luckiest guy in the world

Megan was swimming more closer to the ocean floor , picking up sea shells from the bottom. She felt a small tap on the shoulder. She thought it was a small fish passing by but it was Connor with a smile in his face as he handed over a beautiful blue almost crystal like shell. She smiled back as she gently placed a air kiss to his lips

Zatanna couldn't help but smile as Dick was putting up a fight with a crab who was caught on his shorts and hanging from it. She swam over to him and gently removed it before giving him a kiss on the cheek.

Kaldur was busy holding on to Raquels hands and underwater waltzing with her.

The group continued to swim deeper and deeper into the water ….together. Wally, Dick and Connor couldn't help but think as to how they were blessed with such beautiful and amazing girls as their songs rang and echoed through the water not only reaching their ears but their hearts. It was so…peaceful.

~Land or sea!

The worlds my oyster I'm the pearl….~

Kaldur smiled at the expression on their faces before a sudden thought reached his mind. Atlantian ancestors…you will be free one day. Maybe not today, but one day..you will be free once again. The whole atlantian race is in these girls, right here in front of my eyes, hands. Atlantis will rise again one day.

He continued to stare at girls as they swam ahead with their long mermaid tails and hair flowing behind them as they held hands and swam to the light of the ocean. As long as their songs kept ringing throughout the ocean and bond between them and sea stayed, there was a future for Atlantis.
